Have you actually tried looking up your system/router in public databases? It's probably indexed by now and available for everyone to see and target if your ports are wide open like that. I'm not against windows 7 but opening up ports on windows 7 is a bad idea by every objective measurement imaginable, so much so I can't tell if you're just gas-lighting 7 users to do this or if you're actually stupid. Every 7 fag I've met has been smarter than you

Is there any way to change your voice in real time more effectively than VoiceMod? I'm a dungeon master and I use it to give unique voices to NPCs. The simple effects like reverb for a suit of armor, or pitch lowering for a demon are fine, but the actual AI voices kind of suck. They sound artificial and don't replicate the prosody of my speech completely.

There has to be some kind of AI tech that can do these things better at this point, doesn't there?

Well, it got past rpds-py this time, but llvmlite is giving the same error, just with 3.14 now:
RuntimeError: Cannot install on Python version 3.14.0; only versions >=3.7,<3.11 are supported.

In addition to this:
  - Installing numpy (1.23.5): Failed

PEP517 build of a dependency failed

Backend 'setuptools.build_meta:__legacy__' is not available.

Note: This error originates from the build backend, and is likely not a problem with poetry but one of the following issues with numpy (1.23.5)

- not supporting PEP 517 builds
- not specifying PEP 517 build requirements correctly

I uninstalled poetry, uninstalled Python 3.14, and installed Python 3.10 (so it's within the version contraints), reinstalled poetry, and ran
poetry install
. It got much further in the installation, until this error:

Installing the current project: rvc-beta (0.1.0)
Error: The current project could not be installed: No file/folder found for package rvc-beta
If you do not want to install the current project use --no-root.
If you want to use Poetry only for dependency management but not for packaging, you can disable package mode by setting package-mode = false in your pyproject.toml file.
If you did intend to install the current project, you may need to set `packages` in your pyproject.toml file.

Yeah it looks like this has rotted a bit. Numpy updated to 2.0.0 a while ago but it was a real pain to get every up to the next version because everything depends on numpy. So if you want to use numpy 2.0.0 in your project but one dependency has bumped up to 2.0.0 you can't satisfy all the constraints. I guess newer python's no longer support the old build backend used pre 2.0.0.

Dropping to a lower python is the way to go. I looked at the Dockerfile and they are using 3.9. 3.10 may work as well. I got it installed in docker using 3.9. This is my last go because I'm going to sleep:
1. clean up any changes you made
`git restore :/`
2. go back to main
`git checkout main`
3. use the same version of pip they were using
`pip install --upgrade pip==24.0`
4. Install from req file
`pip install -r requirements.txt`
There's a few requirement text files. See the README for which one fits your needs.

Welcome to the 4chan /g/ Usenet General Thread!

>What is /usenet/?
Open standard protocols still exist and are what the internet was built on (http, irc, rss, ftp, etc). Not owned by corpos, not under govt control, and are accessible to anyone with an internet connection. They simply exist to be built upon and enjoyed by all.
Some, like FTP are outdated and insecure. Others, like rss, irc, http, usenet are still glorious and wonderful open standards. Join us and discuss such topics on one such protocol:
NNTP, aka usenet.

>WTF IS USENET
Literally it means the Users Network. It’s an open protocol for posting and reading messages, organized by newsgroups. It's entirely decentralized, no single server, impossible to take down.
Today it is split between, binaries and text. The binaries part is what it’s known for today: piracy. The text part is forgotten and abandoned, until now.

>WHY POST ON USENET
It's open protocol, you can use any client you want or build you own. No costs, no subscriptions, no money. You can sign up through your ISP, or through eternal-september.org. Then you just need to install a client.

>THIS IS OLDER THAN MY DAD. WHY TF WOULD I DO THIS?

Does anyone else have the issue where after you've used screen recording, whether via a web browser, OBS, even just pressing Win + Shift + S. Windows explorer is going to start eating up cpu usage? Just moving windows around, opening new tabs, makes explorer.exe jump up to 30%, it stays at only 1.6% normally when doing that. I'm using 10 LTSC IoT, laptop's got a i5-8300H and Intel UHD 630/GTX 1050. I installed windows months ago and never had any issues until i discovered this a couple hours ago, the lag gets so bad that the start menu won't even open after i've used screen capturing. Already tried downgrading the gpu drivers, updated windows, DISM/SFC, don't know what else to think besides some weird incompatibility, it does it regardless if the program captured is running on the igpu or the nvidia one.

I never think about stuff like that, I have a real synthesizer or two. I hate monkeying around with software. I do enjoy sampling chopping with Audacity over doing it on my samplers though. But for me the computer is an adjunct and I forget DAWs don't really include the full breadth and depth of synthesis you get out of the real deal. All that stuff is meant to cost extra, for the computer musician.

I was impressed with what this patcher preset did with a single 3xosc so I tried to remake it in Serum

https://vocaroo.com/1edkXkLpdX2J

https://files.catbox.moe/33bfnt.SerumPreset

I need to share this because no one warned me before I wasted hundreds of dollars.

I bought a PETKIT Pura Max 2 (the automatic cat litter box) while living in China. It worked fine there. But when I moved abroad (Uzbekistan), the unit suddenly refused to connect — “region restriction” error. The device is literally **blocked by PETKIT servers** just because I left China.

I paid expensive airport fees to bring it with me ($250 for oversized luggage) because I wanted my cat to have a comfortable automatic box. Now it’s an expensive piece of plastic that can’t even start a cleaning cycle without the app.

PETKIT support admitted the block is **automatic and irreversible** — they say they have “no tools” to remove it. They told me the only solution is to buy a new one in my country (which doesn’t even sell them locally). No warning on the box, no note in the manual, nothing.

So yeah — if you’re buying PETKIT (especially from Taobao or Chinese sellers), **don’t**. Once you leave China, it’s bricked. It’s a literal region-locked cat toilet.

Has anyone here managed to bypass this? VPN? Chinese app “小佩宠物”? Any working method to rebind it internationally?

Don’t repeat my mistake.

Damn, that sucks. It looks like you might be able to just change the region settings on your phone, according to this Reddit comment:
https://www.reddit.com/r/PETKIT/comments/wolb0z/comment/ikx4wk2/

Otherwise, making the phone connect from a Chinese IP might work. If even that's not enough, you might have to make the litter box itself connect from a Chinese IP address, but that would probably entail setting up a VPN and split tunneling on your router, which would be fairly involved if you're not already familiar with it.
