Guys, I have a problem.I use Arch, and recently got ahold of an MSI Z390 board (40 bucks+some bent pins) for additional RAM slots (you know why). But here's a problem: it doesn't save the EFI entry for Arch, like, at all. I do grub-install, grub-mkconfig, check efibootmgr afterwards - and it's present, just after the Win10 entry. But as soon as I shut the PC down or reboot, it's gone! Vanished! Obliterated!Any ideas on what could be the reason? Did Polyak fuck something up? Is Mustdie interfering like usual? Or maybe the separate /efi partition is a big no-no now?

I'm on Fedora and I'm having issues connecting my Xbox One (wireless) controller. As you can see from my image, it correctly identifies the device being plugged in as the controller, but it doesn't show as one in the settings, nor does the controller xbox logo lights up.I can still connect through bluetooth, but I'd like to understand why it doesn't work wired. Also I get "No Valid Captcha" whenever I have the Verificatin not Required in the new fucking captcha I'm going to murder this fucking retarded hiroshimoot piece of shit jesus fucking christ I can't fucking post retarded fucks why is my post being marked as spam?????
what can be done about all the arch shitters and retards shitting up the entire linux community? these people are so incompetent and stupid that they shouldn't be allowed near computer hardware.

>going toData is one of the most mature uses of ML. Every time you ever heard of "big data" you were hearing about AI, and there aren't any new technologies that make what they are doing easier, they already maxed it out almost a decade ago. It predates LLM chatbots by almost a decade and chatbots won't make what they are doing any better. In other words you are wrong and you're stupid. Stop listening to sam altman and watching fearmongering youtube videos.

Every single year AI companies are spending hundreds of billions of dollars making barely any revenue in return. When will AI turn a profit? How do you lose $143B of tax payers' dollars in just a couple of years?
Some are just early participants in a Ponzi, so they win regardless of outcome.Others are true believers in AGI and data centers are the infrastructure, even if LLM is not the way to it.
>>107543848>How do you lose $143B of tax payers' dollars in just a couple of years?Only 143B$?These niggas are spending literally trillions of dollars building fucking datacenters all across the world, even if it's circular money that gets shuffled across the same 3 coroporations, that's still trillions of dollars that they will never recoup unless they reuse those datacenters.
>>107543848it does not need to make money.twitter and youtube has always been lossmaking.youtube losses billions every year but they are ok with that as long as it is the most visited website on the internet.
They'll make it indispensible. Have people rely on it as industry/daily life standard. Then paywall it with a subscription model.
the only way to stop AI is everyone withdrawing their money at the same time from the banks.

Mistral is so good and its such a shame they're hamstrung by retarded EU politicians. USA and China are basically building the atom bomb while the EU throws some dynamite together and calls it an atom bomb. If the EU doesn't step up and the USA keeps releasing safety slopped models, expect the entire world to run on Chinese LLMs. Hopefully the frogs can relocate to America or something.Anyways, seeing Mistral build Small Creative is a huge breath of fresh air, especially after Ministral 3. We've been starved for a good RP model since nemo and small 3.2 and we are finally opening up the release valve.
