I'm trying to get into PoE, first for a few devices I have that support it, and then for cameras.I wanted at least 2.5gb because my Omada wifi point would be getting PoE from it too.I'm also thinking to make it managed so I can set any cameras onto their own VLAN for security purposes.Anybody have recommendations that keep to those? I've already found a few decent looking ones on Amazon, but maybe there's a blind spot.
>get r710 for almost free>gonna use it as fileserver>don't need hardware RAID, gonna just use all disks as one big logical partition, it's all SSD's anyways>came with fucking PERC 6/i, doesn't support showing disks directly to OS, have to have RAID>apparently only workaround is to have each disk be it's own RAID>according to interwebs, this will also fuck your read and write speeds>want to get a HBA that supports JBOD>the ones supported by this hardware all lack a cache, which also kills write speeds according to interwebs>most popular card is the H200, which has no cacheI'm getting mixed signals here. Am I better off RAID-ing every individual drive seperately and then letting the OS handle it, or getting a card that supports JBOD and losing the cache?

>>107569794>>107569789Thanks bros, both examples make it clearer. From the looks of it I might use it to improve extensibility/API usage for a project at work.I'm making a tool that'll parse XML into a readable, easy to use data structure. The XML is babylonian legacy shit and it's used to orchestrate data processing jobs like cavemen, but there are a lot of types of processes, catchers, assignment steps and the like all over the XML. It's basically a pseudo programming language so retards can play and link boxes together in a web app. But it's being used to create production pipelines for a fucking 150 billion company, my team mates are burn out from having to tard wrangle the boxes into something usable so I want to make it into an actual language that can be parsed to and from the XML hellscape.

What's the deal with a lot of these big battery chink phones barely edging out Samsung's battery life, and if they do it takes a 6500mAh+ battery? Is it just shit software? What the fuck is the point of these? Who has ever used the right side modifier keys for anything since the invention of the personal computer?
They should put a screen there that plays Grubhub ads and locks your keyboard until you watch it
>>107573406This, holy fuck. These idiots are literally paying more money for less keys. They're probably all zoomers who grew up having only used phone/tablet keyboards.
I use them occasionally. like if I have to hit alt then L i'll use the right side one. i also use the "open menu" key a lotif anything, hitting that key and my heavy use of alt codes is more "classic computing" than people who insist on using the terminal for everything. while you type "shutdown" with a million switches to make sure the OS doesn't just halt and catch fire, I just hit Super, U, U, Enter
