Extremely fast. Faster than Firefox
Synchronisation across all your devices
Implements most of standards
The most secure
Lots of extensions
>Keeps track of every website you visit, including private ones
>Identifies your entire profile by linking your IP address to an ID
>Displays all forms of advertisements on websites, including phishing and scam ads
>Will deprioritise anything that doesn't fit with their agenda on searches

I'm pretty sure Mozzarella and Firefox do it too

Try installing a tampermonkey script (it's possible, just annoying). Also what if you want to be signed into youtube without it signing you into google? You are also giving google and their advertising business more market share to control website architecture (by deciding over the standards of the most popular browser).

A framework for Parental Controls already exists in GNOME. There is a package named "malcontent" which every GNOME user has installed. They already have merge requests ready to go to integrate age verification (and later ID verification, if need be). People using GNOME already accept Ebussy as their daddy.

If it is so useless then that is all the more reason to not enforce these stupid ass laws though. And let's be real. A bunch of child fuckers and pedos are enacting laws to "protect the children". If you (not (You)) are a parent (although I doubt anyone posting on 4chan is a parent) then you should feel repulsed by this law and these lawmakers the most.

Don't you ever find it strange that when you hover over a YouTube video's thumbnail, it now plays on its own, sounds blaring, instantaneously -- and yet when you click into the video itself, it took 1 whole minute until it finally starts playing?

hold on, all these little turd glasses are tethered via usb-c or display port or whatever?
I need to feed an infant, go take a shit, do the dishes, change a diaper etc etc etc all hands free without pausing my youtube video or getting the cable caught on something. We're not there yet on a device you want $300-600 for???
Is there anything you can do with these besides watch porno on an airplane?

same as on windows (that is, not at all as long as it's not being used to access resources on the computer over the internet)
>>
>stable distro
>but it's OUTDATED
>the packages are OUTDATED!
I don't get it
if it's stable that means everything works, right?
>>

-- like even for software not like steam where you don't want third parties making packages/distributing it (steam can be found in other distro's repos as steam itself is freely distributable), making separate packages for a few distros isn't hard at all, it can be the same exact software just with a few automated commands to turn it into different package types. or use a generic installer (like GOG games do) or use a generic bundle format like appimage

i will add that only having one distro won't help linux in general, one of the benefits of linux is that it is an ecosystem that be moulded to fit many more uses than desktop windows can (i say desktop windows but is windows ce even a thing anymore?)
>>
>>108354441
unless you're using brand new hardware that actually needs a new kernel/mesa/etc, or you just need newly made features/want the best possible performance... yea most people are perfectly fine using a stable/lts distro, and given no specific requirements i would recommend one by default
>>
>>108354441
debian right? theres a lack of contributors, the bug report system is dogshit, and the people meant to accept proposed packages and updates dont do their job half the time
a stable distro will still have somewhat outdated packages but with debian they are way more outdated for these reasons afaik

>Song submission rules/guidelines
Upload the file somewhere, preferably in a lossless format, and post the link here. If you want to update your track, make a new post.
Include the song title in the post, and make it clear that your song is a submission for the album.
You must include a screenshot of your DAW - this is to verify the track is not stolen or AI-generated.
Optionally you may include cover art for your track, but please confirm that the image in your post is the cover art or it won't be included.
You may also add a pseudonym to be included in the track metadata, but it must not be one you already use on music platforms.
Songs that violate YouTube's policies won't be uploaded there, but they will still be added to the album.

>It's pretty good for the 50 bucks I spent, second hand. The minikeys are expectedly kinda dinky, but they'll be way better for finding chords than the mouse is.
>The knobs have almost no resistance to them - they don't feel particularly great. The joystick on the other hand feels pretty stiff and more like a meme addition. I would prefer some proper mod-wheels.
>I have yet to find out what the pads are supposed to be used for other than as oversized buttons. Fingerdrumming on them feels bad.
Interfaces, right?
For some knobs have too much resistance, for some not enough.
Depends on what you want to achieve, and personal preference.

Instead, we let the rich convince us we were their special pets because they paid us a closer-to-fair wage for our work.

In 20 years time, if we still exist as a profession, software engineers will earn the same as fast food workers.

You might think you're "safe", because you live in a developing or LCOL country that receives a lot of outsourcing.

But I promise you, the infinite pursuit of growth and profit knows no borders.

I started my career in 2015 Eastern Europe, earning $400 USD per month. I leveraged outsourcing to boost my career, and move to a HCOL country earning in the top 5% of people here. Even then, I saw cock sucking executives pushing to outsource further. I even saw them actually try this, and fail miserably, since the cheaper countries didn't have the infrastructure or education systems at that point.

these fuckers ruined everything, now they're complaining that their very forum is getting ruined by what they promoted.
