>>107739930Burn in is why these screensavers made most of the screen dark and just drew a relatively few lines (Mystify Your Mind), dots (Starfield Simulation), images (Flying Windows), etc., and always in motion. Typically it would screensave for a while and then put the screen to sleep / blank it. Or you could shut off your screen if you were going away from your PC for longer.Or if you didn't care about entertaining animations, you could choose the "Blank Screen" screensaver.
>>107743297I've done that once but by making an edited copy of the wingdings font
>>107740150Wait a sec... Flying Windows just uses a TrueType font to render the Windows logo? I assumed it was either some bitmap it scaled or a bespoke vector graphic using GDI drawing functions. How did you locate the character it uses?

Have you ever considered the possibility that some day normal consumer won't be able to afford a computer anymore? With GPU and RAM price increases, this nightmare scenario seems likely.Wireless Internet connections might also get so full of traffic that one day fast Internet will be a luxury as well.1. Give people cheap tech so they get dependent on it.2. When they're addicted, start ramping up the price + scarcity3. WinMe? I'm already learning ways to survive without technology. In a few years you might have to live without tech.
>>107748115Can you actually try harder to be any more wrong about anything in your short sentence? For so much wrong in such a short amount of space, you really should be proud.
>>107748110Out of curiosity have you ever developed on your phone?
>>107748209NTA but I have started using mine for content creation. I only use my PC now for capturing the actual walkthroughs. The script, the thumbs, the infographics, even the editing is done on my phone now. Since my shit doesn't need a bunch of bullshit add-ons like overlays, fades, etc .. I can edit an entire 10 minute video in VN and export it in 1440p. All without having to leave the couch or bed. I love my PC but other than gaming and shooting my walkthroughs, I don't need for anything that I can do on my Sammy Flagship.
>>107739312>Have you ever considered the possibility that some day normal consumer won't be able to afford a computer anymore? You can buy old but usable computers for $200 or less. You might not be able to play AAA slop but you shouldn't want that anyway. You can still shitpost, play indie games and customise your emacs configuration. It's all you need.

Planning on making some SDXL loras based on an OC im meticulously color correcting and getting all the Details right, havnt made a lora since 1.5 i had a rough guide i made for Kohya ss on how to generate simplecharacter lora's can anyone tell me if there generic character Lora setup is different for SDXL models10 epoch, 15 steps, 23ish images, all 512x768, clip skip ,2 32x16, use multiple emotions but emotions not tagged, half white backgorund, half colorful backgroundalso if you can see the abomination that is pic related can anyone tell me why Openpose does this in Forge neo? its literally img-imging the Poses and Json files cant be loaded
>>107747920I don't have any answers for you, but I'm rather amused by openpose-chanas far as training loras, you could look into simpletuner. they have a bunch of guides up that are model specific: https://github.com/bghira/SimpleTuner#quickstart-guides
What exactly is clip weight? Is it clip skip but for individual loras? Used in CR Lora Stack.
My niece's iphone was charging normally, but when I did a factory reset it stopped charging. However, when I turn off the iphone and plug in the charger, it turns on automatically detecting the charger, but doesn’t charge. Is there any solution? She's using an original charger that works perfectly with any other device.

>>107747619First world problems. These people grew up in comfortable environments, have only worked ever in tech, and have never lifted a finger to do any manual labor before. They have delusional fantasies of other jobs being better when in reality they're often a lot worse.
>>107747619For me, it's more of a desire for something less stressful and high-pressure. Doesn't even have to be garbage or ship keeper, even something in computers without the intensity would be fine. I'm good at coding and system design and all of that, and I can with deadlines even as long as I have time to think. But when I'm on call, the entire week is just a panic attack broken up by thoughts about kms. I don't react well to that kind of stress. I know I'm pathetic, but I'm just not up to it.
>>107747934I actually have worked manual labor in a warehouse and food service. I worked those jobs from the end of high school to the end of college and the first 1.5 years after college. It's somewhat rose tinted glasses but I do miss the physical exhaustion after a 10-12 hour warehouse shift rather than the mental exhaustion of my tech job.
>>107747619I wouldn't mind loading trucks if I could earn the same as I do now. Manual labor jobs are cozy once you make some friends.
