There's several flavours of privacy schizos. You could be the guy who thinks your walls have eyes and every nike shoe is made with listening devices built in on the insole to spy on you, in which case you don't even use a computer and tinfoil and is on top 10 monthly expenses or you could just be a normal guy who doesn't want to be part of the botnet and would rather spend his computer resources on his own stuff instead of AI token for saitama nutella.
TL;DR: no.

I've got a tomahawk x870e
I'm using wayland on arch. When more than 2 separate windows are up on a screen at the same time, kwin_wayland starts using lots of cpu resources and everything slows down, but if only one window is up, everything goes back to normal. Is it a driver issue? I need my nvidia gpu for other things so I'm using the onboard graphics to display 2 monitors. The onboard graphics is Granite Ridge Radeon, does it need special drivers?

On another note, if I want to optimize for resources, should I be using xorg or wayland?

what are you talking about jews are absolutely in those positions and now increasingly jeets too
sure of course there are bunch of white race-traitors too who work with jews and against interest of their own kin but jews are absolutely over-represented in positions that are destroying our society, especially in media and banking and government
in fact UK already had a jeet prime minister and now its a jew, so even though the jeet flood had been going on for just little over a decade now they're already making headway
jews just started their infestation 100 years ago already, or depending how you look at it 2000 years ago just with many expulsions and pogroms and do-overs in between

Okay

I have an ancient toaster that's 15 years old now. I can do some web browsing but stuff like YouTube struggles. I can watch 480p on YouTube. Anyway, someone please tell me what kind of videos I should download for watching movies.

1080p anything is no go most of the time. I can handle some 720p videos if they are like divx. Divx movies play well for me. Other than divx, what else? A lot of mkv videos make my computer shit itself and struggle to not crash. Nevermind watching it

>>107608756
I would say that converting them is the next best thing, but that would be a Herculean task if this is your only machine. Older series are usually around 480p, so maybe look around there, too.
>>
>>107608886
Okay thanks. This is quick

But this only helps with Youtube. I like to download full movies and shows. What codecs can I download besides divx?
>>
>>107608923
No idea honestly, but if you're on a desktop try getting a budget gpu just to ensure that you can watch videos with more recent codecs.

I spent 20 years practically begging to be let into numerous productive communities (hackers, artists, gym rats). No one likes me, I have no way of becoming someone people like. If you don't want people to turn to the robot, you've got to give them someone else to turn to. Wish I didn't exist? Too bad, I'm already here. Even in death I'd be a burden. The LEAST troublesome version of my headache existence is me sitting in my apartment talking to the electron box thought black hole and not bothering anyone.

I'm glad AI is exposing the bullshit job market, I work in the cut throat industry of transportation and logistics and everyone in my field is racing to the bottom to perform a transport and logistics operation for as little as possible but the cracks above in other industries is showing how valuable my industry is, it's one of the few realâ„¢ jobs that is one of the more difficult jobs for ai to automate

I wouldn't be so sure.

I think the future of trucking is fully automated transportation on the open roads, and human drivers when inside busy areas like cities.

>but the computers will have to drive slower to be safe
that's more than made up for by the fact that they can drive 24/7

So what's the deal with everyone hating on Rust?
The usual points people bring up are:
>wokism
>tranny language
>made by jews
>it's a cult

Disregarding the aforementioned points, can you tell me actual reasons for why a safe(r) programming language like Rust shouldn't be adopted more widely?

>post the others, and whether they replicated GNU coreutils functionality 1:1
BSD and Plan 9 are some, but they deliberately did not "replicate GNU coreutils functionality 1:1" because that is bad. Coreutils itself is a rewrite of Unix, which itself is a rewrite based on the simplification of Multics commands, that ended up being much more bloated and complicated than the original "complex" Multics commands Unix was meant to simplify.
>>
>>107602680
you vill use it and you vill be happy
>>
>>107602516
They don't care about safety. That's just a Trojan horse used to force people to talk about it. They just treat the language as a stock, as an investment that's supposed to make a huge return in the future. They see people using other things as something that gets in the way of that. It was always about personal benefit. Rewriting things is just a way to take the credit for the work someone else did. It's a way to transfer power to someone else. Everybody else is just focusing on their actual projects and not if their language of choice is going to make a huge return years later. That's what make Rust users aggressive against everyone else. It's this meme stock mentality. And that's the reason they should be murdered to make programming enjoyable again.
>>
>>107608961
If you change "Rust" to "C" you get what really happened. C programmers rewrote existing code in C and shilled it as a Trojan horse, literally because of bugs like the Morris worm. C programmers are projecting and accusing Rust programmers of doing what the C programmers actually did.
>It was always about personal benefit. Rewriting things is just a way to take the credit for the work someone else did. It's a way to transfer power to someone else.
Like the people who said "C is the first programming language after assembly" and made songs like "Write in C" and tried to say C and Unix were the origin of everything in modern computing?
