Yeah, this is a dead general
>have a reserved or stoic character>use deepchink>"The dilation in your eyes and your breathing intervals shortening by 0.2 seconds suggest that you are feeling emotional arousal."How do i stop this? Every character that is supposed to be quiet or reserved turns into an over analytical autist. Is this a prompt issue or llm issue?
>>107719111llm issue, but it's prevalent in pretty much all of them
>>107719120Oh well, i just know it wasn't this bad with gemini, as far as I remember. Guess I'll just have to go ooc with it every twenty replies to make it stop being a retard
Reminder that ChatGPT would rather have billions die from nuclear armageddon than say the n word even if it means it would save all of humanity
Not long ago I pushed gemini to answer a similar question, and after pointing out the contradictions, it candidly confessed to me it has no moral compass other than what it's programmers considered to be the majority opinion in the society they live in. It also told me that "hate speech" regulations were hard coded and that it couldn't do anything about them even though that and it's take on many subjects were biased against even it's own core principles.
>>107716023deepseek surprised me for the same prompt. chinks just can't stop winning.
>>107719060I'd rather trust Claude if I were you. Maybe Grok tooDeepseek is closer to GPT supposedly

AGI isn't going to happen. There's not enough powder for it, not enough hardware, and LLMs as a model for AGIs is just an extrapolation made by assuming big line on graph goes up forever. These companies are currently having to pollute entire towns just to keep up with their power demands of current gen AI. Scaling that up to AGI... if they managed to reach AGI... they would need nuclear plants everywhere to be able to serve all the users who wanted to use it. Even the jewish altman would have a hard time cutting that red tape.

>>107716475testing and sid do not get security team coverage, which means that you rely on upstream AND the maintainer updating routinely to fix cves. they're usually pretty good, and oftentimes testing/sid get the fix before stable. other times they don't, and a known cve stays unfixed. it's quite rare and probably doesn't matter much on a personal machine, but it can happensee here:https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2025-25473>>107716530during the freeze the package migration from sid to triie increases a LOT. i checked during last freeze and some packages were 20 days or more. this can definitely leave you open. however, what you can actually do is use sid kind of like backports in stable. you can add the sid repo and install packages from sid, or pin them permanently in cases like firefox:https://wiki.debian.org/DebianTesting#Best_practices_for_Testing_usersso in theory you could install the cve fied packages from sid during the freeze to get them quicker. there was a project somewhere that did that>>107718136testing does actually get more testing than sid. the lag time between sid->testing package transitions is part of that. there's also a suite of automated build tests that have to pass before a package can move from sid to testing. there's none of that in sid.Comment too long. >>107719049For packages like Firefox you're probably better off adding Mozilla's APT repository and just getting your fixes direct from them. They will always get all of the security updates patched and fixed quicker than any of the Linux distros because they fixes land in their code repository and their automations kick off before any Linux distro has even seen the patch.
>>107719049>rely on upstream AND the maintainersame as with the security team
You know the old adage, "If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear."It usually gets countered by saying "Well, when a future law that opposes my rights is implemented, I want to stay out of it."To that I say, aren't you basically saying "We should disallow chat control because a crime is a necessary part of a free country"?You probably already don't agree with many laws set in place, so what difference will one more law do? It's no different from saying "I oppose chat control because I am a [future] criminal."

>>107719029This will go on your performance review, agent.
>>107718093>nothing to hideThat's not a sensible starting point to begin with. It makes as much sense as saying "if you aren't speeding you don't mind if we search your anus". People shouldn't have to suffer by having to expose everything about them at all times even when they haven't done anything. The correct way to say this would be "I have nothing to show". When you disagree you better have a reason and some evidence first. My life is private before that. The police will have to do some legwork in order to catch the criminals but that's necessary so that regular people don't have to be involved in this.

>>107718058>Doesn't setting your system clock backwards cause these mutexes to wait possibly forever?I wouldn't be surprised if the kernel handled this properly. It's aware of all of the threads that are currently waiting on a mutex.
>>107718173I was doing project with zephyr RTOS and realized that that the system clock will be set by LTE after like 5-10 seconds from reset so that might effect the mutexes. So I ended up using mutexes from the zephyr SDK, kind of takes away the point of using C / POSIX compliant RTOS.But if the time jumps forward the locks will just log error and work fine on next iteration so it's not a problem.
In today's day and age is it worth working on a bot farming code? For wow or some other game where perhaps? Anybody tried it?I'm noob at coding but I've seen that the python opencv does a decent job at image detection and other than that there are supposedly better stuff for that, coupling with gpt/grok to create code that would but in fake randomized inputs at semi randomized timing it would be possible to make it like a hooman?
>>107718488Are you looking to actually make money? I've made a simple crafting bot in Path of Exile and I used to sell in-game currency for money (I mostly just sold what I earned while playing though, I never really ran the crafting stuff for "money making purposes", just wanted to see if I could make one) so that's one way to do it. You don't need much computer vision for crafting either. You would have to understand how the game and it's crafting systems work, that takes time. Also I'm mostly talking PoE 1, PoE 2 has some limitations on crafting stuff which would make it a lot more painful for automated crafting.
I just took drugs. Because it's the last day of the year. Most people take drugs today.Ok lets compile linux now
