I wasn't going to try it initially because I tend to avoid pre-configured things (it's why I don't use things like NVChad or Bazzite) but Omarchy looks really good so I'm definitely giving it a chance.

All the C# projects I've worked on have been retarded in some way. Mainly due to dependency injection. There will be different ways of finding and loading config files depending on the environment the code runs in, which initializes those files through dependency injection. It's always a mess.
Dependency injection a cool feature, but it makes code unreadable sometimes.
>>
>>107657465
*initializes from those files
>>
>>107657465
>Mainly due to dependency injection.
Yeah, I agree, that's usually the case. A lot of projects fuck it up and over-complicate everything. That's partially the problem here, but it goes beyond that.
>>
>>107657465

What is the alternative to DI? I haven't found a better solution anywhere else, only more tangled complication. These days in the C# world you simply declare all of your dependencies in one class, their lifetime/scope, and put them in the container. Call them as you need them. Done.

No more insane inheritance webs or factory patterns or all that shit. With the way C# has simplified the overarching structure I think a lot of other conventions are now redundant as well.
>>
>>107657647
The alternatives are making all of your services static classes, or instantiating them yourself when you need them. Both of those fuck up test-ability though if you want to test with mocks.
In Ruby, none of this is needed because you can always overwrite any method with a mock implementation, on an instance or the whole class, at any time.
If you just don't write any tests, then you don't need DI.

Many hosting, vpns, domains, email etc can be paid with xmr directly. For anything else there is coinsbee which allows you to buy gift cards for pretty much anything like steam, cinema/theater, plane tickets, takeaway, gas stations etc. With a bit of effort you can pretty much live off xmr.

Speaking as a leftist,
>Leftists hating infinite clean energy
Nuclear should be way higher net positive here, yes.
>Leftists hating infinite creativity engine
Why are we using machines to automate creative tasks and leaving humans to do manual labor? Why aren't we pushing more to automate manual labor to free ourselves to be creative?
>Leftists hating access to free speech
Free speech? Where? All the social medias ban you or hide your posts if you speak too freely. Even X. The hate also comes from the algorithm optimizing for more interaction, which so often shows you endless posts that piss you off. It's also a place where everyone tries to make their lives look better, and then compared themselves negatively to everyone else who's doing the same thing. There's a reason people take breaks from social media and feel better for it.
All that is why I come here instead. It's antisocial media. We're all anonymous? There's much freer speech. And there's no algorithm, just bump order and any filters you create.
>Government hating money that is not controlled by the government
Ones that behave more like money are overall positive, even though they get used by scammers and that ends up being normies' perception of crypto. Ones that are either pump and dump scams or have lots of speculative bubbles and high trading fees are more just tools for the rich to fleece more money off of the poor with.

What makes you think that transparency is a metric?

Reminder:
-Don't mention Israel
-Don't disrespect the Administration, the economy is amazing.
-Don't assume the Epstein files are real. They are not.

Missing files are obsolete. You don't need that.

Please, don't leave comments if you have nothing to say.

Hopefully that correct but look at the huge pile of failed .net UI frameworks, all trash, all broken, all limping along with minimal resources. Microsoft is adopting more outside tools from competitors instead of maintaining their own products. Edge moving to Chromium is one example but the most embarrassing was using Go for the Typescript compiler. People trying to spin that as normal shows just how far things have rotted from within at the company in the development space.
Microsoft is Cloud Services company now. Developers! Developers! Developers! is a relic of a bygone era. That part of the company still exists, but it's a backwater where careers go to die. If we're "lucky", your prediction that the maintainers will live out the end of their careers silently keeping dotnet going will come true. Or maybe sometime soon, some jeet VP, seeing a corner of the org chart filled with people who aren't jeets, will clean house one day and it will pretty much be over for the developer products at Microsoft.
The one good thing is that the compilers and frameworks are already out there. If the poo up dotnet 12, earlier version can still be used.

No, they don't. It's easier to copy the photos off your iPhone, edit them and post them on social media using macOS, so if that's your use case and you can afford a decent Mac, that's the better option. But it doesn't affect my use case of compiling code, running VMs, etc., and Linux does that better.

How do you fuck up your RAID 5/6?
Also the main problem with RAID 5 is that it's basically a mathematical certainty that another disk will have an URE during rebuild and nuke your data if your array is big enough.
