Every time one of these subhumans gets caught it turns out it was an assblasted troon.I've been hosting shit since the 90s, back then this wasn't a thing. Was there CP? Sure CP trading had been a thing since at least VHS hit the mainstream but unlike today you'd actually have to work to find it not go on facebook or some random forum the trannies have decided is literally worse than Hitler so spamming your five fucking digit CP collection (which is totally normal we all have that right?!) is the only morally righteous course to stop people online from saying nigger.I used to not give a shit about trannies but finding out that they are the reason CSAM has become a digital WMD over the last ~10 years any and all sympathy or empathy I could have ever had is gone. /pol/cucks are just that, cucks so they larp but I genuinely mean it when I say total tranny death. The solution was blacklisting hid_nintendo since that seems to be how it's trying to connect.

Is there any software or tool that can help dealing with it?I'm a college student, I have 2 exams in a week but I'm so addicted to 4chan that I can't study. I basically spend the entire day making bait threads to get (You)'s
>>107740144Take 10,000 iu of vitamin d3 every day, once i started doing that i dropped all my hobbies, it increases dopamine in your brain which makes you less distracted.
>>107740144You aren't addicted to the internet, you're addicted to not studying for your exam. This has interesting implications, one of which is that if the internet somehow disappeared, it wouldn't help you at all, as you would switch to something else and avoid studying all the same. But I would say the important implication is that when you understand this addiction, you can treat it. Stop trying to "get off the internet" and instead start "trying to study for your exam". The former doesn't work because you get bored, and when you're bored you go on the internet. The latter is very easy when you think it through. Just open your books and start reading/doing problems/etc.When you find yourself with your phone in hand later, don't blame yourself for being addicted to it. Just set down your phone, ideally somewhere out of reach, then pick up the book again.
>>107740144when normies got online, it was over for you to have any realistic chance of getting off the internet, because they integrated the rest of society into it as well.maybe there's some hope of getting out, but i tried when it was much easier, and it didn't work.
I use Cold Turkey. It's been pestering me for consent for a while to use my data, but I simply ignore it.There are better, non-pozzed, ways, but that's what I know works for me. And being honest you are probably in a position where >get disciplineis easier said than done. You need to cut the constant stimuli so you feel bored, once you spend a while bored you will naturally start studying.
>>107746658Conversely, if the internet used to be the place for hermits, now the hermit is one who gets off the internet and goes outside.

>>107746590i only ever used LLMs for cooming so i wouldn't know. since this is /hsg/ you probably want to get koboldcpp, some gguf model (no idea which one is good for this task BUT you probably don't have to get a big one or maybe there's some specially trained HA model out there) and point HA to it. the default assistant is super primitive and doesn't actually understand english iirc. you can also use those big providers but this obviously defeats the purpose of /hsg/.

Man, the actuation of the heads on the new HDDs I installed is so strong that if I place my hand on the case it almost feels like something is knocking on the thing. They're not particularly loud or anything, but I've never seen something like this happen lmaoI wonder if it's some resonance thing or something like that. The HDDs are mounted via rubber grommets so they should be fairly decently isolated, though they're only held in with 2 screws instead of 4 because the 2nd pair of holes on the drives don't align with the trays.
Nobody's going to learn the bash terminal unless they are some basement dweller who lives on their PC. Even people who use their PC for work aren't going to fuck around with stuff like that. The terminal went away in the early 1990s on Windows and Mac because it's trash and linux hasn't evolved with them.
>>107735080Linux retards didn't get the memo that human beings like things to be intuitive and there is a good reason the command prompt lost all the way back even before windows 95 when the vast majority of people just went straight to a gui that ran on top of dos (the most famous being windows 3.1).

>>107744591I think it was designed by the sort of devs who think code should be self documenting and you shouldn't need to read the manual to find out what a command does if you don't already know. Meanwhile UNIX commands were designed by the sort of devs who know they'll be typing commands frequently and therefore should make the most common ones 2-4 letters.
>>107746794Even years ago on Debian I was able to do all normal Bluetooth tasks plus use my PC as a Bluetooth headset to take phone calls, all from the tray icon and GUI windows it pops up.
https://youtu.be/TK5Tz4Bt94Y?si=lhjNOsOvc1EweNiJI'm glad they made the video, but I think it has been common knowledge for quite some time that the protocol is highly insecure and that anyone spoofing a pair of headphones can inject executable instructions. China's 110 group has been using this heavily for about nine years on American soil because the short range of the signal necessarily means there is no automated logging of the code used to achieve the penetration as there would be when using a cellular traffic protocol. Once someone gets into a phone in this way, they can even re-program the phone to act as a Bluetooth spoofer which automatically maps out networks of acquaintances. One of the most common implementations when 110 uses it is to send a young woman with the Bluetooth spoofer into a gym in, let's say, Arlington, Virginia (as many federal employees and people who work for defense contractors live there) so that they can get close to people who have Bluetooth actively running to stream music. The girls will usually be wearing American-themed patriotic attire, which is laying it on a bit thick if you ask me.The U.S. Government has been silent on this issue the entire time but has made some plans to build ELINT-secure gyms in government buildings and to encourage employees to use those employee-only gyms to "prevent workplace injuries." The trouble is that the federal employees are not being warned against using Bluetooth and they are not being warned against using public gyms.

>>107745318Google's proprietary services are a massive threat towards privacy, because it's their business model. Security is top notch and the way apps are distributed through the play store is very secure. GrapheneOS never claims otherwise. It's on you to give apps certain permissions in the profiles you feel comfortable with. You are not required to install anything from google or use any app that has Google libraries built-in.
