yeah in some ways it really satisfies OCD and makes your life easier, but there's also a lot of disadvantages, and the BSDs can quickly become even more hacky than linux when trying to do anything out of the ordinary, at least linux allows you access to enough software to patch together something workable in most cases even if it's less than ideal

Guess what I'm asking for is too demanding for the present. I want creativity and for the model to stick to the card unless the context of the chat says "x of {{char}} changed to x due to x", but I'm aware of context windows and how you kinda are forced to add details to a lorebook or something else so the model doesn't forget about it.

Kinda fuckin sad actually.

Coming from ath m20xbt and before that sennheiser HD206. Just bought the sony xm6 and they were way off my expectations, planning to return them. The sound isn't as clear and well defined as in my ath, i dont know if its because of the bass but everything sounds squashed. They were powerful sounding though.
>What exactly you're looking for
Looking for an upgrade to the ath. Durable headphones with priority in the sound. Intending to use them wired to my pc/walkman but if they have bt support itd be a plus when im lazy.
Not sure if i understand if i want open or closed, i havent experienced open yet and sony was such a let down im gonna go for open.
My main genre is 60-70s rock with bits of anisong, modern classical, jazz, shibuya-kei. math-rock.

I think it's TrackMeNot, IIRC.

I'm unsure if either one is supported today? Also, any similar alternatives out there?

/hsg/ is about learning and expanding your horizons. Know all about NAS? Learn virtualization. Spun up some VMs? Learn about networking by standing up a OPNsense/PFsense box and configuring some VLANs. There's always more to learn and chances to grow. Think you’re god-tier already? Setup OpenStack and report back.

>What software should I run?
Install Gentoo. Or whatever flavor of *nix is best for the job or most comfy for you. Jellyfin/Emby/Plex to replace Netflix, Nextcloud to replace Googlel, Ampache/Navidrome to replace Spotify, the list goes on. Look at the awesome self-hosted list and ask.

>Why should I have a home server?
De-botnet your life. Learn something new. Serving applications to yourself, your family, and your frens feels good. Put your tech skills to good use for yourself and those close to you.
