It mostly just has Chinkese browsers, messengers, file managers and such. Chrome is preloaded with a bunch of links to bilibili, Alibaba and other Chink services. Not much interesting. I'm not entirely sure what pic related does though, it's the only semi-intetrsting program on the whole laptop. Other than that, it's completely clean.

Yes. Sundara has always been, still is and will always be a meme headphone, which only infatuated redditors liked. If you can stretch your budget, get a HD600 and forget about buying a new open heaphone forever.
>>
I almost impulse bought klipsh the fives because they were on a steep boxing day discount but it turned out it was just the black ones and they were out of walnut.
>>
>>107680465
depends how good/bad your monitor/pc dac is.
the audio signal from pc to displayport isn't really an additional step because the signal is still completely digital in that phase, you could also throw a displayport switch and a bunch of other bullshit in there and it wouldn't make a difference in sound quality, there's no loss before the signal gets converted to analog by the dac.
>>
>>107680465
DisplayPort is digital and doesn't degrade audio unless the implementation or connection is somehow broken, so most likely it comes down to how the DAC in your monitor compares to the DAC in your PC, to which the answer is: who knows?

I legitimately can not discern the difference between 128kbps audio and anything higher bitrate. For years I've seen anons argue about 320kbps, FLAC, WAV, and so forth. But honest to God, the difference to my ears is near imperceptible. I listen to headphones for 8+ hours every day, and even I can't tell the difference. Sure my equipment is not top-tier, but I doubt that explains it.

For my favorite music, I can just about tell the difference between 128kbps and 320kbps. Like if I really try hard. But anything above that.. forget it. I really feel people are lying when they claim they are able to hear nuances beyond 320kbps. I believe higher than 320kbps is hardcore placebo-tier and people who hoard FLACs are raping their limited storage capacity for no reason.

What do you think? Is the audiophile culture plagued by lying cocksuckers, or do some people have golden ears?

Never even know about mp3 V0. But im not an audiophile. I just downloand FLAC when I get a chance. Most pirate sites only offer MP3(whatever version) and flac. I think the problem is no one can come to a consensus.
I watched a video on YouTube about the guy complaing about mp3 and he never mentioned V0 but he went over how most audio software doesn't even have much option in output itself. Don't know if that's true.
But from that I figured the consensus is their is to much variety for anyone to actually decide what's best

It's infinitely easier for me to put all my music on a flash drive and plug it in. Fuck using a phone for everything, which is already being tracked every 2ms, I don't need it also reporting what I'm listening to as well.

My colleagues use AI to write comments on my PRs
A Junior colleague doesn't know what a primary key is but he insisted he wants to write a SQL script which we need to execute on live environment
We had an argument with another developer, he used AI to create counter arguments on my arguments
We had to delete lots of rows and one of the developers came up with SQL Server Heaps (first time I see them)

Satan trips knows how Satan works.
Also, there was a study I remember reading a few months back, which confirms exactly what you are saying. Where they tested the intelligence of people who used AI to varying degrees for writing tasks, and the ones who relied on it the most ended up with diminished mental facilities.

The other day I remember telling my mother that it's important as she gets older that she find ways to learn new things every day. My grandmother had alzheimers, and it does run in the family, but one of the things about alzheimers is you can reduce the likelihood of it occurring if you are using your brain more often. Learn new things, make it do work every day for some purpose. Create new neural connections and you won't lose the ones you have.

Do you think it might be possible that those who rely most heavily on AI to do thinking for them might end up with something like early onset dementia? Because that shit is some serious body horror, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Work profile us better. Private space can't use biometrics so it's really annoying for banking apps. Unless you set separate fingerprints, then it works, but you need to unlock it every time you start an app and all the notifications are locked too. Also you can't put icons on the home screen.

You don't even need those, just do the webinstall directly from Graphene website. It couldn't be any simpler.

A few of you may have discovered today that thumbnails suddenly stopped loading in Firefox. I did.
Checking the browser console, I found errors for each thumbnail in the catalog which said "A resource is blocked by OpaqueResponseBlocking, please check browser console for details."
After disabling browser.opaqueResponseBlocking in about:config, those error messages turned into 403's and the images would still not load.
I did a desuarchive search for Firefox and found a post in /trash/ saying "I figured it out. 4chan is now asking for referrers when requesting images from 4cdn... TL:DR; 4chan wants to know where you were before loading an image." along with a screenshot of all about:config settings with the word "referer" in them.
With the help of that screenshot, I pinpointed the issue to network.http.referer.XOriginPolicy in about:config, which I had set to 2 for whatever reason, I don't know. Setting it to 0 fixed the problem.
Most of you on Firefox probably won't experience this since 0 is the default setting.
So, for those of you also experiencing this issue, there's the fix, and now the fix is on desuarchive for others to find.
Feel free to discuss the technological/privacy ramifications of this change by 4chan, or if the /trash/ poster's analysis is correct.
