I was thinking of getting these drives but I've heard that MDD (MaxDigitalData) just repurposes old and abused enterprise drives and wipes the SMART data before selling them to you. I personally didn't go with them since they were only gonna give me a 3 month warranty... hope those drives server you well though anon :3

Can't be arsed buying small drives like that, no matter how cheap. My NAS only has four bays and space inside my PCs is at a premium. But if it's more than enough space for you then fine, you got bargain.

>When a student on the email thread noted that Giuffre was allegedly forced into sex at 17, Stallman responded: “It is morally absurd to define ‘rape’ in a way that depends on minor details such as which country it was in or whether the victim was 18 years old or 17.”
>Stallman added: “All I know [Giuffre] said about Minsky is that Epstein directed her to have sex with Minsky. That does not say whether Minsky knew that she was coerced.
>“We know that Giuffre was being coerced into sex – by Epstein. She was being harmed. But the details do affect whether, and to what extent, Minsky was responsible for that.”
>Minsky died in 2016, aged 88. Stallman, 66, has contributed to the Guardian. On Monday he posted a statement to his website before his resignations were made public. Reports about his views on Epstein were “misleading”, he said.
>“The coverage totally mischaracterised my statement. Headlines say that I defended Epstein. Nothing could be further from the truth.
>“I’ve called him a ‘serial rapist’, and said he deserved to be imprisoned. But many people now believe I defended him – and other inaccurate claims – and feel a real hurt because of what they believe I said.
>“I’m sorry for that hurt. I wish I could have prevented the misunderstanding.”

Why did the stallman jew have to be an autist?

>Torvalds has described himself as "completely a-religious—atheist", adding, "I find that people seem to think religion brings morals and appreciation of nature. I actually think it detracts from both. It gives people the excuse to say, 'Oh, nature was just created,' and so the act of creation is seen to be something miraculous. I appreciate the fact that, 'Wow, it's incredible that something like this could have happened in the first place.'" He later added that while in Europe religion is mostly a personal issue, in the United States it has become very politicized. When discussing the issue of church and state separation, he said, "Yeah, it's kind of ironic that in many European countries, there is actually a kind of legal binding between the state and the state religion."[62] In "Linus the Liberator", a story about the March LinuxWorld Conference, Torvalds says: "There are like two golden rules in life. One is 'Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.' For some reason, people associate this with Christianity. I'm not a Christian. I'm agnostic. The other rule is 'Be proud of what you do.'"[63]

Niggers, children, and amerimutt millennials/zoomers have no understanding of what operating a tool is like. They have no perception of utility. They have no time, no efforts, and no resources worth protecting. They have nothing and will never amount to anything. Their personalities are entirely defined by being these transmorphic blobs whose metaphorical real life gamerscore can only be defined by who has the largest credit card bill for the latest product of a brand logo.

> be me, Nepali expat

Actual scoop:
- Supreme Court ordered social platforms to register locally by Aug 28 or face shutdown
- 26 platforms blacked out; only TikTok & Viber complied
Gov’t stance on VPNs:
- Official decree labels VPNs “unregistered tunnels” and “cyberthreats”
- State media warns: using VPN is unsafe, illegal, may lead to fines or arrest
Why it matters:
1. Freedom of speech wiped out for 30M Nepalis
2. Creators & small businesses lose income overnight
3. People forced to VPN risk legal trouble on top of surveillance

Terrain. I implore you to look at Nepal's geography. Some villages take a few days trek to reach from the nearest airport assuming you even get a flight. It's not impossible, but takes significant manpower and willpower. Some villages are also just a few hundred people and the biggest parties have existing bases there. A lack of law and order means that during election time people are literally out threatening opposition candidates. You'd only need a few scores men and some modern weapons to take over the Western Hills and mountains of Nepal, which was exactly what the Maoists did.

brand new thinkpad was never worth the price especially for an individual consumer. Linux drivers also gets better the older the hardware is. Even more when you don't really need gpu.

Right now the sweet spot is buying 2021-2022 thinkpads. Just get T14/T14s /X1 Carbon/ P series from that time frame which suits your taste.

Is it worth getting a Silicone Valley job if they just work you to the bone?

Pratik Pandey was found face-down in the early hours of August 20 in Mountain View, California, inside the Microsoft campus, The Palo Alto Daily Post reported.

An initial report from the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner seen by the outlet indicated that the 35-year-old suffered a heart attack.

His uncle, Manoj Pandey, recalled Pratik as being a bright, hardworking young man but said he was known for staying at work well into the night.

Pandey told the outlet that the tech giant and other firms need to be aware of the dangers of overworking and helping employees deal with stress and pressure.

He told the Daily Post: 'That will probably save a life. It's a lot of pain for the family when a loved one passes away.'

Read up on thirdies doing business. They always try to work subordinates to the bone because that's their proper place while the boss has a golden spoon and a harem. A lot of this line of thinking has probably made its way to the west, in particular jeet operated Microsoft. When America was at its best people did their job and when it was done, they could fuck off home. Orientals that tried to establish a foothold in America got promptly told to fuck off by the workers. They continued whipping their own workers to death in their own countries until a lack of progress left them and their businesses behind.
