You learn c++ as you go. Unless you need the absolute basics: variables, loops, etc.

Learning c++ through a game engine is a iffy slope though as you’re learning more of the engine than the language.

Why haven't MS and Google come up with a simple solution like Airdrop to share files with other PC's/Cellphones ? They've had 15 years!

Reminder that SIM card slots are what's keeping phones from being thinner.
Every brand will copy the iphone air's paper thin design now that apple did it first, SIM cards are now a dated technology that will be swiftly removed like 3.5mm headphone jacks and microSD card slots, forcing you to use budget $300 phones forever if you want to keep using your dinosaur standards.

I hope you're not thinking of switching mobile carriers or even roaming with different SIMs either because eSIMs unlock a whole new profit stream for carriers since you now need their permission to connect your device to their networks.

esim is a bad thing because of forced phone 2fa everywhere

Explain like I'm 5 why a physical SIM is more "open" than an eSIM. You'll need to connect to someone's cell tower in any case.

>forcing you to use budget $300 phones forever if you want to keep using your dinosaur standards
That sounds good to me.

When whatever iPhone I had stopped working correctly, and I decided to switch to an Android, I just bought a $150 budget phone. I took the sim from the iPhone (that's how old it was, it still let you use a sim) and put it in the Android one. It worked.
I didn't have to contact anyone for permission. I didn't have to visit a store to get things setup or transferred or have secret codes implanted. Is it possible to move an esim from one phone to another, by yourself, without some company somewhere permitting the process? (honest question, I don't know if that's possible or not) Because if it isn't, I'm not going to use it.
>>
>>106537332
I hate thin phones, it feels like slicing my hand holding one. btw why the tranime pic ?

I'll throw in another question, on backspace, on a stabilizer, one of them seems a bit weird. It doesn't feel any different when I press it, but is it normal? On one of the other optional keycaps I have something similar on the part that goes on a switch.

Looks broken. If it still works, that's lucky.

although... idk, maybe it could be related to the double shot, given the placement. But I've never seen that on any keycaps I've owned.

I wanna build a board like 4chan but for Christian discussions only. If I am just to get started I will probably deploy web front end on a free platform and the servers at home for now. Ill probably just build a new desktop and install Debian on it so it will run a few docker instances of a database and maybe Java or NodeJS backend to generate ids, confirm upload file formatting, generate captchas. I know how most of full stack works but dont have much experience with running multiple servers at once for the same front end.

Is it a common practice to run load balancer on multiple docker instances on the same machine with a powerful processor? Should I invest in AWS or buy a small server rack instead?

You don't have to code anything on your own, vichan or nanochan is fine. If you want to own the hardware, consider some low power device, woflgang has plenty of videos about it on youtube. You can basically host the entire infra in your house on your own hardware and then expose it to the internet with a reverse proxy, so if kikes ever decide to kill your infra, you will be able to quickly re-expose it. Alternatively, you can just buy some offshore hosting and domain, check out offshore cat for that. I would highly advice against using njalla and other services used by commiepedotroons. Pro-Tip: Enable janny image approval to prevent spam/cp raids.

Reverse proxy helps because you can lock it down further. Really it's not a bad idea just to close off all the ports and use ssh tunneling to access everything.
