the new captcha is an iq test. maybe we'll have less indians shitting up the thread from now on
was it worth it generating slightly more appealing fetish pictures, you sick fucks?

What the fuck is the point of these? Who has ever used the right side modifier keys for anything since the invention of the personal computer?
I use them occasionally. like if I have to hit alt then L i'll use the right side one. i also use the "open menu" key a lotif anything, hitting that key and my heavy use of alt codes is more "classic computing" than people who insist on using the terminal for everything. while you type "shutdown" with a million switches to make sure the OS doesn't just halt and catch fire, I just hit Super, U, U, Enter
>>107572828I need to be able to hit ctrl+shift+n with one hand to free up my other hand for rubbing my dick
>>107572828I placed control next to spacebar and use it for zooming/scaling. You also need FN key somewhereif you have one. I hovewer don't know how to use these besides pages(but I don't know whats the point), delete and printscreen.
>>107572828Short cut combos for CAD, Solidworks in particular. Right hand on mouse, left hand over keypad for dimension entry. Use modifiers to quickly adjust items like viewstyle, tangent edge display, whatever. Bit of a faff with a spacemouse on the other side of the keyboard but that has its uses.I find clean installations (working on site) a pain to use as I have to go on an icon hunt.Eta wtf is this new captcha?

What happens to 4chan (and the entire rest of the internet) when AI becomes smart enough to do Captchas?
>>107573791>when
>>107573791Eventually people get sick enough of using a bot infested net and the powers that be decide its a perfect excuse to create a new, non tcp/ip based system that's much more locked down and requires some kind of official id for you to connect with. People will accept the even higher amount of surveillance in exchange for less (blatant) bots
>>107573812Midwit detected
>>107573791Phone number verification and eventual real ID + selfie verification.
>>107573791AI sucks at solving novel puzzles. The databases size compared to now based on probability will have to be incredibly massive like 3/5ths of the earths surface.

>>107573860>>107573687I'm not sure what you did but if you used a lora in these recent gens it's probably worth changing your resolution so that duplication doesn't happen. Maybe the Lora was trained at a specific resolution, could also be the checkpoint.Set your resolution lower or don't go so hard on the upscaler, or sometimes it works in the HiRes fix tab to change the sampler and the Scheduler to avoid that kind of stuff

>get r710 for almost free>gonna use it as fileserver>don't need hardware RAID, gonna just use all disks as one big logical partition, it's all SSD's anyways>came with fucking PERC 6/i, doesn't support showing disks directly to OS, have to have RAID>apparently only workaround is to have each disk be it's own RAID>according to interwebs, this will also fuck your read and write speeds>want to get a HBA that supports JBOD>the ones supported by this hardware all lack a cache, which also kills write speeds according to interwebs>most popular card is the H200, which has no cacheI'm getting mixed signals here. Am I better off RAID-ing every individual drive seperately and then letting the OS handle it, or getting a card that supports JBOD and losing the cache?

The dictator Adam Susan was so retarded he fell in love with basically an LLM hooked up to CCTV cameras manipulated by V which is why he's completely useless in the movie and comics. Every fucking day we are stepping closer to that fucking comic and movie adaptation becoming a documentary instead of a dystopian piece of fiction.
>going toData is one of the most mature uses of ML. Every time you ever heard of "big data" you were hearing about AI, and there aren't any new technologies that make what they are doing easier, they already maxed it out almost a decade ago. It predates LLM chatbots by almost a decade and chatbots won't make what they are doing any better. In other words you are wrong and you're stupid. Stop listening to sam altman and watching fearmongering youtube videos.

You now remember SSHD hard disk drives
How did they work? I wasn't dumb enough to buy one of these and try them out.Was the SSD and HDD part exposed to the host as a single drive? Because I know for sure that you'd need SAS to have multiple devices over a single cable and good luck finding a consumer motherboard with a SAS controller.
I stopped buying Seagate after two of these died on me. Meanwhile I still have working 500GB WDs from 15 years ago.
>>107573268It was a fuckhuge cache, like >>107573175 said. At that scale, the controller is most likely to detect most OS files as the most accessed ones, so it would be mostly/entirely Windows/Linux
>>107570651Man I was hype for these, till I found that the WD Velociraptors were still faster than this.
>>107573268It's exactly like modern HDDs are right now with 256MB cache. But that's DRAM. Instead of using DRAM, you're using some of the first generation SSDs with terrible read and write speeds in place. So, sure you'd have a 10GB cache for burst speeds, but it was still pretty slow compared to DRAM burst speeds. The WD Velociraptors ironically were still faster than the SSHDs.
