>>107884855you can, and should use both.I sync up my changes with github.the only tool on linux that windows lacks is valgrind helgrind/drd which are thread sanitizers (but they don't work with atomics, you can use mutexes locklessly technically by just not locking the mutex).valgrind memcheck checks for uninitialized memory access (address sanitizer won't catch uninialized memory access) but drmemory on windows does the same thing (with pretty much the same number of false positives) as valgrind memcheck. But memory sanitizer (linux only) does the same job (I think? might be missing stuff) but it should be a lot faster than valgrind/drmemory but it won't work with GUI applications (because all your libraries must be compiled with memory sanitizer, I believe, but I have not attempted using it).GUI applications on linux (and windows) will have false positive leaks (not just from nvidia, also for some font libraries that QT loads), it's kind of annoying that linux address sanitizer checks for leaks with no way to disable it with compiler flags, you need to set ASAN_OPTIONS=detect_leaks=0 (can be set internally with a function) or you have a suppression file which still shows a report even if all leaks are suppressed.

At this point I think the newer models are smart enough that if you ran like 100 thousand instances of them for long enough you could achieve AGI in a year or so.They're not even more intelligent than a junior engineer, but the issue is that the average person can do very little real intellectual work over the course of a lifetime. LLMs are like if you took an immortal halfwit and forced it to take Adderall until it wrote you Shakespeare. I guess it's happening just like AI 2027 lol. They're right though. Calculators should only be used for expediting long operations you already understand completely or error checking simple calculations you really don't want to fuck up. Letting people use calculators for everything in a school setting is a waste of teaching math, I already know the calculator knows how to do long division I'm trying to make the students know how to do long division. At a certain point you're just not preparing students for real life. Not everyone is going to to get a job sitting in front of a glorified calculator all day, most tradies have to do a fuckton of napkin math and you really can't pull your phone out every single time. It's why like half of every trade school program is just forcing people to actually learn how to do math without a calculator.

i noticed a strange behavior with brk(2). i expect the program break to be placed right after the regions of memory demanded according to the ELF headers, such that you can know it's address statically. but there seems to be a gap.> end of program = 0x0804a000> brk(NULL) = 0x09db8000trying to move the page break backwards fails. maybe the memory is already allocated, but inaccessible?> mprotect(0x0804a000, 0x1000, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE) = -1 ENOMEMwtf. why is there an inaccessible, unallocated region of memory between the real end of the program, and the program break? was i wrong to assume they should be the same?

I don't have this but I have Aphakia, so I can see UV light. Any time I'm in a room like an arcade or something with UV lights its overwhelmingly bright, I only have it in 1 eye though, so the light looks like purple or super ultra intense pink / purple depending on my head orientation.
