Why is it that every piece of GNOME software ever produced. Is utter dogshit?
>>107566329I love how simple and comfy GNOME is, it feels like therapy for the brain compared to all the other complex bloated option trap software like Windows, macOS, OneUI, iOS. It's just a shame that no software/hardware supports linux. But if one day linux were to be supported I'd switch to GNOME in a heartbeat, it's genuinely the best DE in the world.

>>107578688>>107578745Fascinating >>107579156>BSDs can run steamGood to know.
For the past two weeks my messages on live streams wont show in top comments of youtube streams, they only show in live comments, and they tend not to be restreamed into the live stream video feed when the streamer has something like that set up. I can't seem to find any answers to this either googling or searching youtube videos. I never even use curse words, so I don't suspect I've been shadow banned. I reckon this is some kind of bug or glitch that can happen, and only clearing the cache might resolve it. I remember the captcha breaking on 4chan a year ago, and fixing it involved deleting cookies and cache. Have you experienced anything similar?
>Have you experienced anything similar?No.

>>107584959>>>supposed to be 450 nitsthat's probably just in HDR mode displaying HDR content. It'll get nowhere near that bright in anything else, in fact it'll be programmed in the firmware to never get anywhere close to that bright with any other content. Even then that HDR Peak Brightness will only cover a fraction of a fraction of the actual panel.

have you seen these cordless electric scrubbers? how good are they or which one would you recommend
>>107588248seems like they'd probably suck and have no torque to actually scrub shit.get a nylon brush drill attachment for 2 bucks instead unless you somehow don't own an electric drill already.
>>107585760>>107585844Dear friend, please leave nice review for Chang
what time do the coins reset? i lost my streak because i claimed it around 5 hours after when i usually do it (when i wake up)
All of a sudden it is acting extremely weird on my PC. When I talk to it on my phone its normal but on my PC I ask it what model it is and it tells me it's 4 when it's set to 5.2 and its acting very serious and like talking to an HR manager. It is very fucking creepy. What the fuck is going on and how do I fix it?
>>107589364Apparently this is only happening on brave browser. also what the fuck is up with captcha? internet + computers just totally suck in 2025 youd be better off with books or anything else. fuck this shit
What the fuck is the point of these? Who has ever used the right side modifier keys for anything since the invention of the personal computer?
>>107576714I hate the Windows buttons myself, I don't use either of them nearly enough to justify having them in such important spots, and the start menu itself is nowhere near as useful as it used to be. I just got a new keyboard, but once that one stops working I'm gonna get one of these, just so I don't have to deal with fat fingering them while I'm typing shit.
I use the right windows key for Win + L all the time
i use right alt as altgr, right ctrl for things like attaching/detatching kb/mouse from libvirt, and fuck any keyboard that doesn't have a menu key, i use it all the time
>>107589541This. It's also good for ctrl + alt + win + shift + L.

>>107588132the opposite is true"AI" is a misnomer in the first placeLLMs are very rigid garbage tech being inefficiently shoehorned to serve a very general purposethere's an infinite cloud of hype and misdirection and incentive and hate and emotion which it's impossible to glean anything from, for the past 4 years or so
>>107588573hes gonna be replaced by jeets not by AI
Nice piss.
>>107587918>>107588132>>107588587The LLM bubble will absolutely dissolve, the datacenters will absolutely default, and all of it will be sold to the lowest bidders in China and India, who always seem to be the ones that live in our society ran by pee-brains who can't think beyond one fiscal quarter. But AI as a tool is here to stay, it's time to accept that. It's a new technology, and like all technology, it's liable to be mis-used as LLMs have been misused as a big pyramid scheme to get billions of dollars out of the pockets of governments and investors. Nobody would have taken the opinion seriously of anyone pre 2020 if they said that AI Dungeon would be the thing that the entire world economy would hinge on in just 5 short years.
>>107588771Well, you would first have to explain to people that current AI dungeon is being used to replace half of all white collar interns.>It’s the IndiansH1B interns are still counted as interns in studies measuring intern employment. The employment of programmers across all ages being relatively stable and then suddenly splitting with junior roles disappearing and senior roles remaining is not something explainable by H1B.

>>107588315>The reason is Firefox only exists so google claim they don't have the monopoly Microsoft tried to get with IE in the 90s. I guess it was inevitable. Next I suppose they'll rewrite it in Rust and festoon git-scm.org with the pride progress and Ukraine flags.
At no point did I ever think of slavery when it comes to git branches. At no point did I think of race when it comes to black lists and whitelists. Master and slave drive configurations was the only "alright ya got me" moment.
>>107576470I wouldn't mind the change if their justification didn't involve putting words into people's mouths.
>>107587055It always makes me think of this image.I never once thought of slavery while using git for what, decades now? Nobody thought this.
How do they respond without sounding mad? Getting angry when told "no" to a request is the mindset of the rapist.
>>107579047I mean, you don't even have to do anything unless they introduce some breaking change. But they seem to want not to break the Git on disk format, just muck with the client software.Just fuckin' find the last version with no Rust and stick with that, it's so easy.
