I had no obvious updates that should have affected EXWM, but somehow it just bounces me back to the login screen if I try to login to exwm. Literally no errors I could even see when I tried anything. I think an anon said there was an issue with exwm-no-x-toolkit but I have no idea what’s causing the issue for me either. Very surprised to see such strangeness on Guix.

>>108523322True, I experienced similar issues. I use the snap version on Kubuntu. The only solution I found is to rarely (if ever) update the snap and have regulat timeshift and rescuezilla full system backups.

Threadly reminder to go read Fisheye Placebo for more cyberpunk goodness!>Vance just wanted to make the most out of his college experience under a totalitarian regime, and if that meant hacking into the university to assign himself a hot female roommate, then so be it. Got a gamesir nova lite 2. My first wireless controller, only got it because you could also buy a dock for it (not pictured because I can't be bothered to disconnect it).Comes with a hard case that also accommodates the dongle, which is very nice. The controls feel nice, my only worry is that the d-pad seems to require very light pressure to trigger, but it hasn't been a problem so far. The bumpers and triggers are dualshock style and you can lock the triggers so they become more like buttons. Takes a few presses before they shift to hair trigger mode though. Also I can't update the firmware from my PC since I'm running linux, but I can connect it to my phone and do it from the app.Overall very happy with it.
>>108508027Apparently PCs last longer if you have them always on, compared to turning it on and off everyday. Maybe it's true for minipcs too.So far, of these 4 brands, I'll put Beelink and Geekom tied at the top. They seem to be the ones most serious on overall quality and longer support.Second I'll put GMKtec, since I've read comments praising them for the soldering quality in ther mobos, and they manufacture mobos for other lower-tier brands (if I'm not wrong)I'll put Minisforum on third place, they seem to be focused on trying new things (like the MS-R1). It's like they want to position themselves as the "innovative" brand, but I've read many bad critics about their quality and QA process.I think you can safely ignore the other chinese brands. And don't forget that outside China there is ASUS, AsRock, Gigabyte, etc, also doing minipcs. The AsRock Industrial sub-brand is for, well, industry, so they are made sturdy, but I've seen they're harder to find, at least from my shithole (Argentina).
