sick, thanks

Another use for AIs in war is using the AIs to invent their own new language, encrypt the messages it sends in those new languages, compress the encrypted message, and hide the communications using steganography during transmissions of messages. Each time the encrypted message is found using steganalysis, decrypted if it can be, and the language deciphered, if it can be in time, the AIs can just switch things up and immediately communicate in a newly create language, and restart the process all over again. This is but one military application for AI.

there's no point in steganography over encrypted channel
the entire point of steganography is when the channel is NOT encrypted, like pictures available publicly

also, "just switch", lol, how are you going to inform friendly receiving stations about the switch? over the channel that just had its encryption broken?

I don't think you understand the topic, bro
>>
there's some interesting steganographic activity on X, a popular widely used magic number is
49 20 64 6F 6E 27 74 20 6B 6E 6F 77 20 77 68 6F 20 6E 65 65 64 73 20 74 6F 20 68 65 61 72 20 74 68 69 73 2C 20 62 75 74 20

followed by a payload. there's about one of these every minute
>>
>>107563525
>steganography over encrypted channel
I think OP is referring to encrypted message over steganography, eg, encrypting a message and then hiding it in otherwise inconspicuous messages to avoid detection. It's one thing to go "THIS IS AN ENCRYPTED MESSAGE", it's another thing to go "hehe lol funny cate video".

The best and brightest C programmers agree: Rust belongs in the Linux kernel!
https://lwn.net/Articles/1049831/
This board tries it's best to portray C and Rust as polar opposites, but in the end they serve the same purpose. Good C programmers have always respected Rust programmers and vice versa. Only the fizzbuzzers and jeets want a language war between C and Rust.

Why do they want it? Because if you split the systems language ecosystem, there will be less competition to their electron/react garbage (see Windows 11 start menu)
Everyone except Indians agrees that anything written in Rust or C is much better than electron garbage. That is why it is important to be friends and allies, not enemies

I don't have logs, you could try asking on OFTC, from what I remember he was excited (scare quotes too extreme for this message) to see a real effort in the advancement of a system level language.

Most of this all just comes from philosophy of simplicity.

Common Lisp, Ada, C#, Active Oberon, and a lot of other languages actually used for OS development are more advanced than Go. The only special thing about Go is that they tried redefining what "system level language" means.

because I do not trust Microsoft at all.
what do I gain over Clojure, beyond types? types become annoying when there are so many things they cannot represent (this number must be prime and within the bounds of 35 to 117, this hash map must contain username keys that belong to this array of users and no user can have identical usernames, etc.) that I get to the point of using a dynamic language with schema validation via things like Malli.
types are nice for optimization, I will admit, but Clojure has type hinting.

This is how I feel. I use elixir for everything but if it didn’t exist, I’d use Clojure. Functional + enforced immutability + easy concurrency primitives = bliss for 99.9% of software development. I see no reason to use anything else unless it’s low-level development at which point I bite the bullet and use C despite its warts.

>Japan continued WW2 because Hirohito was an autistic scholar more Interesting in studying than actually ruling. He literally left entire country to be run by his advisors and generals that were happy to continue wars because as high-ranking military personnel, entire budget for war was funneled through them.
Only retards believe that. It's a story cooked up by Macarthur and the surviving Japanese leadership to keep Hirohito out of the IMTFE so they could preserve a sense of legitimate leadership and avoid outright rebellion of the Japanese populace and so that everyone could focus on rebuilding Japan and preventing communism from taking root in the archipelago

I started typing in Dvorak over 15 years ago after someone on /g/ posted about it. I'm here to return the favor. You can type faster and better with Dvorak or Colemak.

>What is it?
Dvorak (duh-vore-ack) is an alternative keyboard layout. Instead of common key pairs being set apart so that typewriter hammers don't run into each other, Dvorak is optimized to group common key pairs on alternating hands, as well as make optimal use of the home row. There is more than 70% less finger travel when using Dvorak.

>Why use it?
People have different reasons, I used to have bad wrist pain from typing with bad posture. Switching to Dvorak eliminated that wrist pain for me and it never came back.

>Do you use it on phones or just full keyboards?
Just full keyboards. If you're just typing with your thumbs it doesn't make as much sense, and I like being able to switch between the two.

>Muh colemak!
Colemak is about 2% better than Dvorak. It only makes sense to learn one. I didn't know about Colemak when I started. I like that Dvorak has all the vowels next to each other but Colemak has more keys in common with QWERTY, improving the learning curve.

Layout doesn't matter. One of the fastest typists (the fastest in the world not long ago) - mythical rocket - is typing on qwerty layout.
>>
>>107564016
Is your sole goal with typing to be a competitive racer? I don't know about you but when I type I mostly care about spending the least effort and maximising comfort. That implies having a speed at least approaching speed-of-edited-thought but around 100wpm is adequate for that
