are these equivalent, or does the first one run C if B fails or something?
>>

yeah
only a good idea when the language allows a function to be nested inside another function
>>
>>107856422
They are not equivalent. C indeed depends on the return of B.
In simple words, and chain returns either the first false value or the last value (if all of them are true), or chain returns the first true value or the last value

Hey Froggo, you are getting it wrong, companies WANT to use Rust, because *le memory safe*, that way they can use *le vibe code*, they know AI WILL make errors and Rust CAN prevent fatal mistakes. Also, the hidden agenda is that everything WILL be replaced with Rust MIT licensed code, so AI WILL learn from it and can freely use it, without getting sued, hope this helps. The cumulative updates are always super big because they include every single update i.e. why when you install a new version of Windows it doesn't install every single monthly update and instead just installs the latest one.

You should close browser tabs when you're done with them. If you want to quickly get back to where you were, there is a separate technology for that: bookmarks.
>>
browsers are intentionally obfuscating the difference between tabs and bookmarks with tab groups and tab unloading and shit because that's how people actually use their computers. the customer is always right in matters of taste. similarly, any email provider that isn't also a cloud storage provider is being obstinate.
>>
>>107856226
Firefox is largely to blame for this. They were the first ones to make tabs into buttons.
>>
>>107856203
People with 100+ tabs open are the same type of people who used to have 100+ pieces of paper on their desk.
>but I know where everything is!! It's organized the way I LIKE IT!
These people operate through life at 1% productivity, but there's really nothing we can do to change that.

I don't understand, why isn't Microsoft using AI to update the signature database dynamically??
What the fuck are they doing still manually "pushing" out updates, they need to use AI to dynamically update the system in real time and make the dynamic changes. The code needs to live and breathe as a living entity. This is the future we were promised. AI is supposed to fix these issues. This isn't Windows XP or Windows 7 anymore. The mere concept of... installing an update... like dude what the fuck get with the times Microsoft.

Don't buy anything OTHER THAN IBM/Lenovo ThinkPad T, X, and W/P Series if you want the Real Business Experience™
>Other business laptops are welcome in /tpg/ (Dell Latitude/Precision, HP EliteBook/ZBook)

Why ThinkPad?
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap
>Excellent keyboards, tactile feel and quiet + the TrackPoint
>Great durability: magnesium roll cage for structural integrity, with high quality plastic body panels
>Utilitarian design: e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models
>Docking stations that easily turns your laptop into a desktop
>Easy to repair (most models), upgrade & maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for every model, spare parts easy & cheap to obtain
>Excellent Linux & *BSD support

I have the actual genuine keyboard this is based on that includes the win key instead of the other one that doesnt have it and comes with the ibm logo
I dont really use it much and it feels lighter than the keyboard on the x220 and also a specific combination of win + shift + right seems to not work while all 3 of those keys individually work fine
I'm curious if the tex shinobi feels better than the genuine lenovo one or not. I heard that middle button where mousewheel up/down is supposed to be doesnt actually work properly as a mousewheel like the regular thinkpad keyboard would
>>107827945
Honestly if i wanted a numpad i would just get a separate standalone one that can be placed like on the other side of the mouse and mousepad instead of increasing the distance between the kb and mouse

Hey /csg/,

Does anyone have experience with aliexpress cheap(ish) portable multimeter+oscilloscope devices? I've been eyeing some of them, but I kinda have some healthy doubt about them. I could probably buy a used second-hand oscilloscope for a similar price, but I would rather have a smaller one, especially that those can export data to PC or similar.

i'm going through something like this as well. these guys are stalling to run out the clock and i really want to be an asshole about this and just dispute so i'm giving them a chance to see if we can fix it by ourselves.
very likely i'll have to return it and get my refund and lose out on shopping credit and time as well. this shit's so fucked.
their page has "1 year warranty" on it as well and i am very curious how genuine they are in honoring it if i wasn't going to go through ali's dispute system
