Let's talk about Israeli tech and try to keep antisemitism to a minimum. These are techies, like you and I, who are interested in using techology in clever ways. Their faith/ethnicity is irrelevant. For instance, specifically, the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev attracted my attention a while back as a place where they develop interesting ways to use tech for intelligence gathering purposes. See below:Gathering data from airgapped PCs:https://archive.ph/mZetuhttps://archive.ph/7CuvEMan in the middle device with an external battery that intercepts traffic from an ethernet network:https://www.researchgate.net/figure/The-MitM-devices-used-in-this-paper-Top-Three-1Gbps-Ethernet-switches-used-in-the-IP-DH_fig11_323627250Research papers on this guy's profile in particular are very interesting:https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Yisroel-MirskyHe's probably mossad or works closely with them, but he freely shares his findings nevertheless.
why is it that, despite all these techs, (((they))) have to beg for basically all of americas strategic-defense THAAD systems, just to protect from iranian bottle rockets? didnt the shill narrative claim that the literal rain of rockets hit empty deserts?
>>107712700The world would be a better place if Israel did not exist
>>107713724They don't "have" to, but why not do it anyway since those sucker amerimutts keep giving and antisemitic chuds keep voting for politicians who give the most? Would you decline free candy just because doing so gives you a weak-ass "philosophical victory"?

>>107706123that's literally how tesla wall panel and similar Ai-powered inverter systems work. These dystopian faggots charge you 30k to install 1000$ worth of chinese solar panels then hook it up to a made-in-america kill switch thats connected to the internet. You get a nice little phone app that tells you when your solar battery is on (wow, i wonder when that is) and in return they get a remote kill switch that can brick your entire house power grid if someone at tesla ever feels like it.my dumb as fuck sister had this shit installed, she had me come over to watch them put it in place and the first thing I said was 'why the fuck does an inverter have to be connected to the internet'. Turns out you can get a special loan to have these installed so if you defaulty walty on your payments, tesla turns your power off instantly.

>>107715138How in the fuck does adding opnsense or any other router in a double NAT configuration double your internet speed?
>>107715072>download speeddownload from where exactlyreminds me of a mate who got his mind blown when i showed him he can move data to/from his 10g nas at 10gbps with a 10g pcie nic and some old cat5e cable, he thought nothing in his house will ever exceed his 200mbps internet speed.
>>107715146>>107715175>download from where exactlyAh thats what you meant. Usually speedtest. I did upgrade my main PC to be on ethernet instead of wifi with this LAN restructure, but they have the same speeds as far as rated mbps goes (1Gbps)I did more testing after both your replies and it seems that my default server selection is driving the change currently, but doesn't explain how I've never seen that kind of speed before when running tests.Server A thats about right in my city runs 470~, whether my PCs ethernet is directly plugged to my DMZ router or my Router2.Server B thats about 2 hours away, runs 900+ in this case behind Router2 on ethernet.I reran the tests on wifi, behind my Router2. Achieved 400~ to server A, and 630~ to server B. Never gotten that high on wifi before, its never peaked above 450 to any server on wifi.At this point I have no fucking clue and I cant be fucked to keep testing since my brain is hurting
>>107715459>ethernet instead of wifiAh that explains it. Wifi is shit. Even in the best of real world conditions you'll rarely see anywhere near the full speed actually coming through even if the spec is theoretically capable of multigigabit.
>>107715475Thats what I would have figured, but considering my wifi is now better than before I swapped, im still unsure.Either way that begs the question, does my ISP actually care that I'm getting double what I'm paying for now on ethernet? I sure as fuck wont say anything to them
Why are these things still made and used? Most phones don't include a slot for them, and they're the only device small (if modern phones can even be called that) enough to justify using them over a full size card. I know the Switch and Steam Deck use them, but those are also big enough that they surely could've made them with full-size cards in mind
>>107713586 (Me)I fucked up, I meant to say >I admit MicroSD has a few valid usecases, the issue is companies will implement them in products that have no business using them over a full-size card
