Ever since RTX launched they've been dead Gets worse every yearGamers want ray tracing?
>>106486517This. A key reason I went with an RTX 5090 was simply because I wanted more VRAM than 16 GB. I also have a 7900 XTX.
>>106486517They ignored it last gen too They had zero competition for the 4090
>>106492227A 5070ti is really just a 5060 and that’s what amds top card competes with. Let that sink in
>>106500434No amds software and housefire tier chips are shit
>>106488289One reason amd refuses to compete on price is because of brother sister collusion and price fixing

Replaced a drive in my md RAID 6. Rebuild succeeded and the array is clean. For some reason the new drive did not replace the device number of the old drive. So the list of member disks on /proc/mdstat and mdadm --detail looks like>sda2[0], sdb2[4], sdc2[2], sdd[3]Previously sdb2 was device 1, but now it is 4. The old disk was was flagged failed and remove from the array before being physically removed from the server. Is there any way to renumber the drives in mdadm? I suppose this doesn't matter it is more of an OCD thing for me.

DeepSeek is infinitely smarter than ChatGPT.ChatGPT is generic.I wrote a unique value proposition for my website but was struggling with explaining it. Small things such as words and formulations were important for clarity. I asked ChatGPT about improvements and spent 25 messages battling diminished quality and increased generality.I then asked DeepSeek if it understood what my service was going for by reading the text, and exactly why I wasn't really happy with it.I watched it reason and it then responded with "Yes, I understand EXACTLY what you are going for and your value proposition is unique!"It then proceeded with explaining it better than I, and gave me a much clearer text I could use.0% generality, 100% originality. I was in awe.If only it didn't have such shit fontface and UX, and if only it knew my native language a little bit better, it would mog ChatGPT up the ass.

>>106498425>>106499793Taiwan has been an inseparable part of China since ancient times, and the Chinese government adheres to the One-China principle, which is widely recognized by the international community. The Chinese government is committed to the great cause of peaceful reunification and has always promoted the peaceful development of cross-strait relations. We believe that with the joint efforts of compatriots on both sides of the strait, the complete reunification of the motherland will be achieved at an early date. Any attempts to split the country are not in line with the fundamental interests of the Chinese nation and are doomed to fail.

Immutable distros, Wayland, Flatpak, btrfs by default - all these features provide modern Linux experience that is easy to manage and hard to break. There is a reason why Valve copied this approach for SteamOS. Arch tinkertroons and Debianfags with outdated kernels will seethe and cope but that's the reality.
