Are there still good new phones for rooting and shit?I have a oneplus nord ce 2 that I got in a rush a few years ago after my op3 died, and it's a nightmare. I have to stay on android 11 because updating to 12 removes the bootloader and 13 (which supposedly puts it back) isn't available for it.I don't even use root for that much other than adblocking and audio shit, and hiding the root is also a nightmare. Bricked it twice by just installing shamiko, and even the mcdonalds app sees through zygisk. Maybe the newer magisk versions make it better but I just know it's going to brick it.
