I'm finding a way so that I could see CoT but it will not be sent to the AI when prompting and I can't find a good solution. First I did was simply capturing it with regex, replacing it with nothing, then "Alter outgoing prompt" but I looked at the count of tokens in the presets and it didn't change.My goal is to be efficient in using 28k cont but if what the regex is doing is simply removing it after counting the 28k, then it will simply lessen the token I will use, not necessarily adding additional history from chat to fill what was lost.I could just increase the max token but that would be complicated since the ratio of the CoT and the actual output will not always be the same.Next is to capture it with regex then enclosing it with {{// }} but in chat, it will simply be deleted afterwards.I'm lost. Anyone here have good ideas? Maybe I'm thinking too much and there's actually a practical and easy way to see CoT but block it from sending. techlet here btw

The only ST setting that would affect that is something stopping your prompts from being sent in the first place, there's nothing that will hide them.
