Everything is already from China, but in here we discuss the cheap chink shit you see on various sites.

1st rule of /csg/: if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

so, following some much fiddling with the fucking flight radar filters, i think i might have found the flight that carries my most recent temu chink shit purchase
https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/cao8401
this one does indeed stop way before the actual end country, and its flight time is half of the regular time, but its seems to be the only cargo one, i can find, that leaves chinkland on the specified time and stops somewhere in europoorland.
i dont really believe this is the actual plane, flight time is only 11 hours, but ill keep an eye on it, and check when the plane arrives at the destination and cross check to see if both landed on the same airport during about halfway.
this has not been as fun to find out as i initially imagined, the amount of planes taking-of/landing/over china is FUCKING HUEG.
either way, dont shoot the plane down, it might have my shit in it

Hello again anons.
A few days back i posted about a free dongle that i was getting from amazon, and it showed up today. it said it was capable of 32bit/394 khz, and i verified that today on my pc. The driver shows up here as "KM-HIFI-384KHZ" and apparently with some brief research dongles like the abigail also show up the same way. Safe to say if that's the case that the chip inside this thing is the CX31993? Pic Related

I'm 3 for 3 scammers for tripod purchase.

Maybe they're all actually the same store?
>>
>>103232656
What's the question? That's how most dac look on windows. Most dac chip are legit. The higher end chip are usually akm or ES series.

>>103232701
It's because your Canadian from the last thread. Most likely it's some tariff issue because the price for that tripod looks high enough to be legit. Either you just ignore them and hope they shipped it out or just cancel it. Don't pay extra.
>>
>>103232902
Yeah. I cancelled the last 2 tripod orders so I can get my money and coins back. I won't be cancelling this one (or paying him anything extra).

The store is from 2019 and does have legit reviews. So I'm cautiously optimistic. https://www.aliexpress.com/store/4697051/pages/feedback.html?sortType=bestmatch_sort

If it falls through, I'm done with this brand as all their distributors seem to be scammers.

I don't think the store pays tariff though? I'm not sure what happens if it gets caught by customs. Maybe the logistics company has procedures in place to collect it from me.
>>
>>103232902
>What's the question?
the question was "Safe to say if that's the case that the chip inside this thing is the CX31993?"

it's right there in the post anon. i'm to determine if the dac in this thing is worth anything. it sounds alright but imo no better than the google dongle sitting right next to it.
>>
>>103232964
Bruh that picture you posted isn't going to help you determine if it's the CX31993 chip or not. You need to open the "device manager" and scroll down on the USB section then open the detail section by right clicking it.
>>
>>103232939
Are all these stores have a 95%+ rating or higher? If they are silver or gold tier then it's probably a legit store but some weird shipping rule for Canada. That's why some of the coupon codes didn't work for Canada even though it works for USA.

Are you the type of person who leaves a lot of bad reviews? If so, sellers can actually see your reviews you made from different sellers. If you leave too many bad reviews that might be one reason why they hesitate to ship it out since it's more on the expensive side.

Where all of these tripod "choice shipping" aka AliExpress or the sellers themselves? I think you said the 3rd tripod was choice shipping, I never had a seller message me to pay more for choice shipping.
>>
>>103233071
Actually I clicked the link, the seller seem legit but they aren't using Choice shipping (at least when I clicked the items). I can't really tell the difference between high end tripod and the lower end ones.
>>

>Are all these stores have a 95%+ rating or higher? If they are silver or gold tier then it's probably a legit store but some weird shipping rule for Canada. That's why some of the coupon codes didn't work for Canada even though it works for USA.
First store 99.2% https://www.aliexpress.com/store/5071410
Second store 97.7% https://www.aliexpress.com/store/2674107

Maybe it does have to do with Canada then.

>Are you the type of person who leaves a lot of bad reviews? If so, sellers can actually see your reviews you made from different sellers. If you leave too many bad reviews that might be one reason why they hesitate to ship it out since it's more on the expensive side.
I usually leave positive reviews. I didn't realize they could see my reviews. Would it help if I check the anonymous box when I leave negative ones?

>Where all of these tripod "choice shipping" aka AliExpress or the sellers themselves? I think you said the 3rd tripod was choice shipping, I never had a seller message me to pay more for choice shipping.
I ended up not going for the choice shipping one as the one I ordered has wider tubes and slightly taller height for about the same price after coins and I decided to gamble again.
>>
>>103233181
These two store are actually the same company. Sometimes they make two stores, idk why. The first store you posted is different. So yeah if you bought the tripod with Choice shipping they probably would have shipped it directly from AliExpress warehouse. Hmm I'm not sure about tripod stuff, but if you bought the same model it's probably made from the same factory. I know most headphones and game controller stuff is made from one company and then it's rebranded into different names.
>>
Found a bunch of political stickers in my town. Are there tools on AliExpress that help remove them without damaging the surface underneath? I don't want to hurt the people who own the stuff some shitheads use for their propaganda.
>>
>>103232166
I wonder if anybody else has had the same experience as me. I complained a few threads ago about a payment issue, but it turns out that actually worked out in my favor? I had a ton of items in my cart due to 11.11 and got a decently large coupon applied, but then the order got fucked with the payment issue. anyways I went to the "to pay" section and could see the discount on each item and select what ones to pay for. so I ended up buying way less but still got the same discount on each item. Think this could be weaponized to maximize the largest coupons? the biggest issue I can see if somehow figuring out a way to fail the payment on purpose every time.
>>
>>103233288
Just look up "plastic blade". If that doesn't work then you need acetone but that would damage the paint most likely.
>>
>>103233330
Which coupon did you use? Was it the $60, $200 coupons? Then you cancel a few items and keep the "$X off" for all items?

I thought about it but I thought AliExpress would have some kind of fail safe where they reduce the % by how much item you have leftover. iirc that's how it works without coupons
>>
>>103233168
They give out those $1 coupons all the time. It can't be used outside of prize land, so I recommend ignoring them.
>>
>>103233168

>>
>>103233028
that's why reading my actual first post would be a good idea, as i already provided that useful information.
>>

You'd probably be better waiting until black friday proper and getting a shark vacuum locally. I've got one of their cordless ones and it's good enough for the car, stairs and upstairs, and the battery last enough for one clean at high power (boost and roller on) and a couple of cleans at low power.
Oh just make sure you get the accessories pack for cheap/free cause otherwise the vacuum is a bit useless without them.
>>

Ah it's going to Liege, the postal depot for europe. Many a chink package travels through there.
>>
>>103232506
Just goes to show how much they're overcharging for all the chinkshit, they can afford air travel to ship it over. Or maybe air cargo between China and the EU is that cheap?
>>
>>103234058
They just throw it on whichever plane is heading in the right direction and has space so I think air cargo is pretty damn cheap for small packages.
>>
>>103233897
i don't know, as i said before i can't really hear a difference between this and the Google dongle i have. the biggest difference i have noticed is just how much louder the newer one gets over the Google one. beyond that I'm just trying to identify what the fuck it is.
>>
>>103234112
thats how it used to work, but they have had a dedicated line haul service ever since cainiao

Some watches looks good with metal bands, some others not really. As a rule of thumb, if its a big or tacky watch, if it has thick lugs (like sport watches, smart watches, dive watches, etc), big lume hands, big crown, etc then yes it'll look good with a metal band, on the other hand if its a thin dress watch with thin lugs, thin hands, thin crown and other elegant choice design, then it will look off with a metal bracelet.

boughted a switch oled from the latest 11.11 promo on aliexpress
shipped from france (am yuro), they take a bit to ship but let's hope I get it in under a month else I'm not there
worst case scenario I just pester them to send it earlier, worked for a guy who needed it for a birthday soon
especially since they're going to have the same promo for black friday and will have too many orders to handle

also got a million accessories, already shipped and will likely arrive before the console

200 yurodollars will get you a used (oled) switch from ebay if you look hard, or an easy to find "screen only" switch, all that with ebay shipping fees
with that deal it's 200 yurodollars for a brand new one, and even if it's jp model it's shipped from EU so no 6 months shipping time

there's actually a local store selling used unpatched v1s for the same price but this is for my parents who just don't want to tinker even if it means free games

>>
>>103240008
yeah the special editions are usually a bit more expensive and harder to find. best I can find here with a quick glance is 150 yurobucks and it's usually around 180

>Any Games that you recommend
I'm getting them the latest mario party, switch sports, and 51 clubhouse games. Maybe some more on the eshop promo. Will see if they want other games after that.

>what Accessories did you get for the 1 you bought?
2 aliexpress joycons + wrist straps + controller handle + leg straps and a charging dock
it's in case there's some game that requires 3-4 single joycons (possible mario party motion minigames) but we have 2 compatible 8bitdo controllers so they're just cheap backups
for a lite, obviously you need a case, maybe a shell and screen protection

If your primary concern is longevity, you will HAVE to go wired. This isn't anything to do with manufacturing tolerances, it's just how small battery-powered bluetooth devices like that are. Even premium branded ones will die after a few years of regular use.

Therefore if you really want to stay wireless, just get cheap ones so you're spending less.

u mean Shopee? its Chinkaporean. its pretty huge among normies in the SEA region. they used to have the best prices few years ago + almost unlimited free shipping & discount coupons. but their recent financial report doesnt look good. they're actually LOSING money after all the huge in-your-face public marketing campaigns and promotions everywhere. now they getting all chinked up and their prices just arent as good anymore compared to their rivals like Lazada and AliExpress. they're still okay if you want to shop for small, cheap, low value household items or anything less than $10. but for higher value or niche items, they just cant beat AliExpress (in the SEA region at least.)
>>
>>103244354
those are probably items with a moderate base coins discount, say, like 30% (when viewed outside the coins discount page), and then in the coins page, it slaps on an """""""extra""" +50% flag to it. so you get 30% + 15% = 45% total, which still 'feels' like a good deal.

NTA but I have the 23mm one and it's really good for the price. I don't have the other ones, but before ordering I read a lot about them and the 10mm is pretty meh and the 4mm one is absolute garbage. The reason for that is that the optics are actually all plastic (that's why they're so cheap) and all the precision and accuracy goes to shit the smaller the plastic lenses get.

>>103239439
>that's crazy, i thought those were waterproof

they just want to make you feel good about the purchase without giving the apparent full amount.
unless if you're autistic and really bothered to do the math after purchase, which you are. but im willing to bet that most normies who 'value their time more than money' would probably wouldn't bother to double check the math.

Since you frequent a whole thread dedicated to this, what are your political views regarding chink shit commerce? You surely must be aware that outsourcing is one of the main reasons america is getting poor and jobs are paying less and costs go up. How do you cope with that?
Mind you, I want both the USA and China to be nuked out of existence, so this is not a red vs blue thing as I despise you both equally
>>
>>103245016
>Everything is already from China, but in here we discuss the cheap chink shit you see on various sites.
Instead of buying chinkshit locally, we buy chinkshit cheaper "on various sites".
Buying chinkshit doesn't preclude buying western-made goods.
>>
>>103245029
>>103245016
I was buying car tires recently and I had to go out of my way to get one that didn't say "Made in China" on them
>>
>>103245016
not a mutt
the outsourcing is not something i asked for, and that is the main problem, car companies are outsourcing their car body stamping die through gestamp, well knowing that gestamp is outsourcing everything possible to china and ruining the eu die making industry which is a big important industrial area. After that stupid movement of course chinese car would be cheaper, bc they do everything in house, a.k.a. vertical integration, so the car companies are getting fucked too, so much less industry in th eu. I cannot do shit about that
The chinkshit i buy in ali, would also be chinkshit if i buy it locally, but like 3 times more expensive for nothing
like i can find tools on leroy merlin that are clearly rebranded chinkshit...
>>
>>103245029

>the outsourcing is not something i asked for
> i can find tools on leroy merlin that are clearly rebranded chinkshit
So clearly the logical conclusion is that the market is not serving the consumer but itself, actively eroding the consumer's power and rights and making worse and worse products and making it more and more difficult for the consumer to obtain what he wants. How funny, I don't recall this being the premise of a liberal free market, as they have been teaching for a century, this sounds more like a scam to me. Maybe Check Your Mailbox Teddy was right you know. Maybe consumerism is a cancer that needs to be culled with nuclear violence
>>
>>103245196
but there isnt low end market that is not chinkshit (or seashit in general, being from thailand is kinda the same), i am not buying a 60 euros lathe tool to make some wood pens at home...
is a mix that the free market is a stupid lie based on madeup premises that are not proven, and that china has a planed economy so they dont allow certain bullshit that is making the western companies kill themselves, and the economies of scale are way better, both bc of the population and the planned economy. They are just more efficient, even if they started with a way worse situation and industrialized only a few decades ago

Firstly, it's overpriced on aliexpress. I bet you can get it locally for half the price.

I used it for years, but it didn't held in my doors well, so I had to drill brackets over the door that came with the bar as well. With them it was secure and reliable. It worked well for me to start doing pull ups, but there are few downsides. You have to bend your knees and can't do leg raises properly. It's ok for parallel grip pull ups or chin ups, but not for normal pull ups. It's L shape is annoying to store in your room.

I later welded something like pic related and attached it over my door. So much better.
>>
>>103245247
And yet if I try to suggest authorities should implement ex ante measures in order to prevent disruptive economic practices like the utter and complete outsourcing of our lives in the hands of the fucking chinks, and actually pave the way for a more integrated and sustainable local, non-third world, non-predatory production chain that won't make the paytaxer absorb the impact of the consequent losses, suddenly I am a commie and gadsden faggot fall on the ground and have seizures
And yet people on this very board defend google and corporations

Outsourcing is sadly unavoidable with how our country is dependent on goods from China nowadays. Obviously we saw how horribly bad that turned out with how the US was reliant on China for medical supplies during COVID but did our politicians do jack about it? Nah and it took Trump much longer than necessary to invoke the defense production act to begin making much needed supplies here. Our economy is a joke let alone the manufacturing industry.
My sole rationale for buying chinkshit is to save money on things that I would otherwise buy elsewhere at much higher prices. Again, same shit just lower price. Granted I still try to reduce my consumption of foreign goods and overall waste by purchasing pre owned items (eg thrifting and vintage), making sure that textiles and whatnot are made from renewable materials, dumpster diving, etc.

You might be a commie, it depends on what measures you want.
If you want anything more than tariffs then you probably are a commie.
And even though I would agree to tariffs on imported goods, particularly those that came from cunts where the government directly controls the economy and finances it with grants, tax reductions or no-interest loans (basically China but also others like Korea), I am weary of my own government using the tariffs as an excuse to carry on wringing the population dry, like they do with other taxes.

i am an industrial engineer for context, eu companies were outsourcing to the new eu poorer eu members, most of the eu outsourcing to china is more modern, which in many cases it just make it more stupid. And often is not even that cheap for the companies...
also people think that if companies start to compete back with china there would be tons of jobs like back then, but the only way to would be to automate the manufacturing a ton, which is what the chinks did, so there wont be that many jobs back
>>
>>103245342
>tariffs
That's possibly the gayest measure I can think of. Instead of punishing outsourcing, promote local production chains. The only real, material issue with production chains is the geographical collocation of resources. Mr. Monopoly will tell you he HAD to outsource production to third world otherwise he would have had to fail foreclosure and then he wouldn't be able to deliver you your newest toy. But in reality Mr. Monopoly simply run his numbers and realized that instead of 1M profit every month he could put in his pocket a few more K if he closed down his factory and employed third world slaves. Nothing but corporate greed and political collusion stops any developed country from developing a responsible market where you pay slightly more for your toy but that money stays in your economy and makes it grow instead of flying away forever to the fucking chinese soulless worker ants
>>
>>103245366
>would be to automate the manufacturing a ton so there wont be that many jobs back
Automation is good. Having a more efficient industry is good.
Technological progress, despite what Ted the Mathematician may think, has been to society's benefit, with most people moving out of farming and then out of the manufacturing industry. The trouble stems from politics. Buying a heavily-automated-production car made in Europe keeps the money in Europe, the problem only comes if this capital then leaves Europe, as is happening with outsourcing to the far east.
>>103245412
Your rant about Mr. Monopoly is completely retarded and unnecessary. We all understand why outsourcing happens, and in some situations "Mr. Monopoly" might have had to close down because those that don't outsource may not remain competitive, this is especially true for bottom value (not necessarily low value, mind you, think cheap cars and scooters) things.
>Instead of punishing outsourcing, promote local production chains.
Oh, so you are a commie. I don't trust politicians to not fuck up tariffs, which are easy to implement and would discourage mindless outsourcing to increase profits, and you expect me to trust them with my taxes to revitalize the economy by actively and accurately implementing the necessary measures instead of favouring their political friends and promoting their agenda.
Look, that might be better in theory, you can even do both, but if you are not a commie you will understand that there's simply no way it's going to work. There's no way policitians are not going to fuck it up further.

even if you could get all the bureaucratic shit to line up right to support local industry without just funnelling even more money into an increasingly small number of hands, you still can't compete with third world labor rates.
Stuff that comes out of factories in china or indonesia is just going to cost way less than in a country where you have to pay your workers enough to live comfortably with first world costs of living, meet first world workplace safety standards, comply with first world environmental regulations instead of dumping all your chemical runoff into the ocean, etc.
People buy whatever is cheapest 97% of the time, the point of tariffs is to effectively make Chang charge what he would have to charge if he wasn't taking advantage of all these societally negative advantages that third world factory owners have over first world. We don't empty our tailings ponds into the ocean not because we like wasting money on dealing with it, but because not dealing with it ruins the world for everyone, but it costs a lot more, as does paying workers more than 5$ a day, and providing safety equipment.
Of course politics is broken so nothing works the way it should and tariffs are usually more of a bludgeon used in economic wars between countries, but that's the concept.

Shit-flinging of the "cheap products are destroying are economy" sort happened with the British during the industrial revolution, and I have few doubts this happened earlier, as well
Being political about it is fighting a dumb war against the inevitable

why do have the posters feel it necessary to state that they wish a country to suffer nuclear annihilation?
is it supposed to make them seem more reasonable?
>>
>>103245755
>sort happened with the British during the industrial revolution
Not that anon but what do you mean by this? Do you mean Luddites?
Industrialization (automation) is not the same as outsourcing.
>>
keeping the money / expertise / secondary by-products closer to you is a good thing. doesn't matter if the factory is 99% automated
>>
>>103245791
I'm saying that people who weren't the British were accusing the British of destroying their economies by flooding their markets with cheap goods, and look what good it did to them.
>>
>>103245844
But they were right, were they not? Britain became a world power in no small part thanks to its industrial capacity.
Britain obtained more power to the detriment of people who weren't British.
Power doesn't last forever because with enough time you'll get retards who will piss it all away, but that's beside the point.

Haven't done lots of testing yet. It does probe zeroing on startup and
I have confirned with an oscilloscope that it does indeed measure with a proper 100kHz test signal frequency.
>does it work well with in-circuit testing?
It does claim it can do it but I haven't verified how well it works - so far it delivers on the other claims, though. I'm gonna solder some stuff for fun in the next days so I'll compare how it reads the caps before soldering them and later in-circuit - will report back... eventually.

>mfw I never actually ordered it in the first place and it sat in my basket unchecked while everything else went through
>I even had to add an extra item I didn't want for the spend and save discount.

I am going to cry profusely and aggressively.
As for the rest of the haul, individually it's nothing too exciting, but collectively? it's still not exciting.

Some buttons for my controllers, heck knows why I bought them. I won't even use them. The analogue sticks are a different shade of blue than on the product listing and look shit. Doubly so because it's not even one consistent blue. Funnily enough this exact blue problem happened to me with a phone case once and I still didn't learn my lesson. You win this one, no point disputing $1.
Heat resistant tape $2
Bluetooth keyboard around $8. No expense was spared on the quality of this. I'm amazed.
MS2130 capture card, $7ish, no real need for it. Can test it later with a Switch if anyone cares. It was just cheap.
USB C tester, $5. It works I guess, although I suppose I'll never know for sure if the readings are accurate. My Pixel reportedly charges at around 5W despite using a 15W charger on 9%.
The USB-A/C adapters are north of a dollar but surprisingly well made. Feel very sturdy. I already have some so I don't know why I ordered these.

Here's the back of the Bluetooth keyboard. Amazing quality 10/10. I could bend this thing in half by accident.
What can I put over the back of this to actually make it comfortable and not have it scraping around my desk? The sheet is already warped. Any suggestions plz bros?

Also the buttons in the pic are supposed to be glow in the dark, because I'm 4 years old. The glow in the dark properties are pathetic and barely show on camera. It's not the worst because it does give me a backup set of buttons but I thought I would have some memery here.

well i give up on following the planes based on the tracking data.
temu tracking claims the plane landed on madrid at 10:03 am (utc), but there are no cargo flights from belgium to madrid around that time. the closest one is
https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/3v4812
and that landed like at like 5am (utc). i mean, it there could be a delay in actually getting the cargo from the plane and processing it, but lingering around on the airport for so many hours seems highly unlikely.
this is not as fun as i initially thought, its actually painful

Just figured this crappy aliexpress lights are way brighter removing the plastic cover

the pcb itself could be easily removed from the casing too if you wanted to do an even smaller casing for it or a different application

the PCB includes basically everything
>LEDs

>brightness sensor (doesnt turn on if it detects its bright)
>battery
>microusb port

if i was a handyman or had a 3D printer i bet i could figure out a cool way to use this...
