>>107316383Now that's a Chad build. See how it doesn't even need a PSU? It runs on pure testosterone, zero fucks given.
>>10731641810 and 11 have basically the same backend, so the drivers probably still work on 10. If it doesn't let you install them, you could also try spoofing 11.
i got a third onei must say, it is nice having 3 of the same monitor because they are all calibrated the exact same.
>>107316574If it's Wi-Fi 7, you'll need Windows 11 for full speeds.
Just your daily reminder you're nearing the end of your last chance to get any pc part that uses memory (including gpus) for "cheap." We could see things get worse than covid eraAlso rdna4 likely will age poorly in comparison to blackwell, you only buy amd gpus at this point if you're hardcore team red or pricing is totally insane where you live. "muh value" argument is long dead and buried
>>107316627Another reason to buy amd gpus is that nvidia gpus don't work on your operating system...

>>107316681>nvidia gpus don't work on your operating systemI dont know any operating system in which nvidia doesn't work. Granted I'm not allknowing. If you mean GNU/Linux, then you're wrong because nvidia works pretty well on Linux nowadays. I've been using a 4070 super for over a year now on Arch with proprietary drivers, and, while it's not at feature parity with windows (looking at you DLDSR), it doesn't bring me any major issues or headaches.>inb4 directx12 overheadOK. yes, no argument against that
>>107316715I live in a small 3-apartment building and the modem is shared between units hidden god knows where so I'm stuck with wifi for now. Surprisingly good speeds for the setup though, nearing 500mbps on good days, it's probably frying my brain.
>>107316769>it's probably frying my brain.Dude I have so many fucking Wi-Fi networks at my apartment, like I can see at least 30, each unit has one. I probably need to turn my bedroom into a faraday cage to avoid getting cancer but I don't know where to start.

Is the 9070xt actually more power efficient than the 5070ti when you undervolt it? I feel like they cranked it way too far to get as close as possible to the 5070ti for marketing purposes.

>>107316865>Is the 9070xt actually more power efficient than the 5070ti when you undervolt it?No, the 5070ti is significantly more power efficient. If you pay for your own electricity, you should get the 5070Ti. Even undervolted, the 9070xt is barely below the 5070Ti, while undervolting the 5070ti is like 30W less.

>>1073168734K is nice at 32" but it's kind of waste at 27" anyway, 1440p still looks good at 1440p. Plus in motion, you'll notice the colors on the OLED more than resolution of a larger monitor. Hello my friends. I am putting together a pc for a friends grandkid. My intention is to use parts from my PC and then charge him the price of the parts from my PC to upgrade my shit.Since RAM is insane right now I'm going to take 16GB of DDR5 out of my build. (Down to 48)I'm also going to take my 6700XT out and put that in his build. My plan is to upgrade my GPU with the "labor" costs it cost me to put together this PC.Any tips for keeping this build under 1000 dollars on my part? I have a microcenter near me. Thanks. -HH

I'm considering getting this case for a high end AMD cpu and 5000 series gpu. According to reviews it's pretty good, but I was wondering about the dust filtering. It appears there's a removable dust filter on the top and bottom but no mention of a removable frontal dust filter. From the pictures it appears there's a mesh on the front of some kind, just not removable. Is this case decent enough at filtering dust from the front? Is that just fine if I vacuum the front from time to time?

Has any AIO manufacturer tried connecting their tubes to the center of the radiator or in some way try to spread out the liquid equally before they contact the fins? A number of AIO tests seem to suggest 420s are inefficient for their size and don't offer much over a 360. And then 280s are often competitive with 360s, so could that be due to the shorter length of the device and thus more even spread of heat over the fins?

>>107320971Bottom line? 6800XT cards, according to what I've read, can handle 100-110 degrees. Any more than that, it's fucked. Or so I've head. Sorry, Anon, I'm not fully confident.
>>107320971>Because that's a terrible ideanta but explain why it is a terrible ideamy cpu fan "curve" is off until almost critical temps
>>107320932the consoomer will be competing with the AI bubble startups for the next 2 years I think, just buy your fucking gpu already, this will be a 3 year limbo with bad hardware prices, you can hope that the ai bubble will burst, I certainly do, I would love to see China make wall street/crypto bros jump off of their buildings with a new deepseek moment, but it's too uncertain to rely on that
>>107320877if there's no dips means it's not thermal throttling, but stock curve is still too conservative
>>107321019yes it will throttle before it blows itself up, but its also not wise to redline it all the time, other components on the board can have reduced lifetimes as well from running at high temperatures
>>107320836have you undervolted your gpu? it does wonders for temp and performanceanother thing you can do is replace the thermal paste with ptm7950 and maybe the thermal pads too, basic pc parts maintenance to make sure stuff is running the best it can

>>107321091ofc not

>>107321083>>107321091I enabled undervolt and it did so automatically for some reason.

Is this water cooler just too big for my case and I need to buy another case, or am I missing something?
>>107321125I first tried the auto-undervolt and temps did improve. Still in the 90s thoughbeitdesune.

Some people in this thread:>RAM 32GB is gonna cost 1000 dorrarsWhy not 10000$ or even 100000$?Because nobody will buy at that price. You might not have realized it but other people have brains
>>107321173Just use fucking Air. Dont get memed by water meme. Hopefully you learn your lesson
I'm looking at building a mostly new system with a 5090 in it. Potentially a 9800X3D for CPU. These mobos are currently in sale. I'm mostly interested in having maximum expansion for storage with m.2 and sata connections. Most of these only have 4x sata. Is there any that have more? My current one has 6 and I'm running 4 harddrives and 2 ssd and 2 m.2. I need to swap out the harddrives and I could go high capacity to fit into 4x sata but it's annoying.
>>107321314>You might not have realized it but other people have brainsProof? Here's a gold plated 5080 as an example.
>>107321336You know, lots of people buy ram but very few people have gold-plated 5080s.
>>107321348>lots of people buy ramNot anymore.
>put off buying cooler i want because still seething about ram>price dropped by a 1/3rd way cheaper nowwtf
From its peak to its current price rtx 3090 was ~3000$ to ~800$ now. I would not expect ram prices to exceed x4 of its original prices. In fact I think it will roughly stay at current price and then slowly start declining in 3 months or so
>>107321373JUST WAIT 2 YEARS BROS
>>107321019if the temp spikes faster than the fan curve can move enough air to bring the temp back down>you're going to have a bad time

there's no way to install wifi 7 drivers on windows? I don't believe you
Just think about it. All the sheeple buy ddr5 ram now, satiating the market and giving ram producers money for r&d and production. Future ddr5 ram will have less demand and be cheaper. Waitfags win.Dont ask about DDR 6
There is a new thread >>107321430>>107321430
The AI bubble will burst and the market will be flooded with cheap DDR5 wam. Sam Alman will need to apologise to waitfags.
>>107321425>waitfagged for a year while saving my shekels>assraped by the AI gobbling up the RAMs>at least i bought before it ran out of lubemy wallet is still sore, brothers, but my motherboard should be here tomorrow and i can finally /pcbg/ my new rig
