any checkpoints that enforce their style over the lora? I train my character loras from Koikatsu pictures and the 3d style ends up blending most of the time even with 3d on negative. So after a ton of testing end times on RAUNet I've found that 0.25, 0.4, 0.55 are good values to start with. Also reforge guy, if you're still here, selecting different time modes turns RAUNet off.

Everything inbetween is a just an image with an added noise. Let's stretch this 0..1 range to 0..1000, since that's what SD uses. So 0 is noise, 1 is the image, and 500 is half-noise, half-image. To train a model, you pick a random image and add a random amount of noise to it, say up to 345 timestep. So the consists of 1 - 0.345 or 65.5% of noise. Then you make U-net predict how the timestep 346 would look like, and as a result of that you get a loss and update the weights with it.The problem is, across all the timesteps (0->1, 800->801, etc), the loss updates the model by the same amount, but MinSNR paper found that it is not the most efficient way to do this since at each timestep the model does different things, i.e. in the beginning it focuses on composition, later on details. They proposed scaling the loss based on the timestep, in order to prevent the model focusing too much on details and more on composition, since that's the most difficult task. The exact general formula is:loss multiplier = min(SNR(timestep), gamma)As I understand it, it "caps" the loss past certain timestep (picrel from debiased estimation paper), the exact SNR values depend on the noise scheduler (which is not important in our context). The most important part is, the larger the gamma is, the higher the cap is, which means the higher gamma is, the larger the loss is on higher timesteps, which means you train harder on details. cascade report: haven't touched it in a month, decided to compare the 3.6b prototype (left) to the e8 of 1b. same settings/seed. to me the 1b still looks significantly behind, as to be expected really given that the base 1b is a rushed piece of shit shat out by the team at the last minute. it has a lot of 1.5-isms in the rendering and seems to lack the detail and nuance in the face that the 3.6b picks up. can't really judge anatomy too hard as both have a fumble rate depending on the seed. overall i think the final model could be promising, but still a long way to go.on a 4090, 1b executes the prompt in 3.8 seconds, 3.6b in 6.8 seconds. 30 steps (plus additional 12 for refiner), 768x1344.artist was kase daiki. i will try artists if you want to see them but don't expect much.
