At the very least learn how to properly draw a face/head bro. You could easily overlook the rest of the flaws if you have an appealing face. The character design itself is actually decent. I'm not exaggerating, it'd easily bump your drawings up to high beg.

This looks pretty good, but there's some stylistic inconsistencies with the blood splatter. I also thought the bullet hole was a ninja star or some sharp object lodged into their head until I realized what it was. So it makes me wonder if it's supposed to be a suicide or if they were killed. It's a little disjointed in what it's trying to convey, but, I think since it's basically a finished piece just clean up the blood, bring in the surrounding words and it could make for a dope edgy sticker.

Perspective is aspect of space. You are always in space and everything around you is in perspective. Draw everything around you. People recommend drawing simple shapes first. So buy some toys for children put them on white paper and draw it. But make sure you learn theory first. There are hundreds things you could do wrong.

Lol you have issues. No one cares. The worst that happens when I draw on the park is that a bum or two will ask me for money.
Do what you want though

Okay so I redid one of the head studies I did yesterday, just didn't have much time.

I feel it's more accurate, it feels more like her and has her form and such down better, still not amazing but I feel more confident about it.

I really need to find more time to draw which I am struggling more with lately. I also haven't done figure studies in a while which is annoying me.

I got better at drawing heads with muzzles but now I am probably worse at drawing bodies.

Fuck man, I wish paper had CTRL + Z. How the fuck do I stop this? I can't just stop making mistakes.

I can identify what needs to be fixed and how pretty clearly, I think. Like with this Loomis head, I tried to fix the left ear to look more like the right, which through a fluke of art, wound up looking surprisingly natural on the head. I'm assuming it's the combination of the middle lower part of the ear being thin mimicking how it's percieved head-on IRL, plus the cutoff point of the bottom of the ear being where the jawline starts. Despite being able to identify what's better about that ear, I can't fix the left ear to make it like the right one.

It’s what’s working for me right now. Checking the ref is how I correct and understand what looks incorrect so that when I do a full imagination, I have a better understanding. Like I said; I’m leaving my comfort zone so it’s all new to me. As I get more used to it, I’ll venture further away from references . I’m at the phase that I’m trying to check my mistakes
>>
>>7366258
Anon that's literally just drawing from reference
>>
>>7366221
youre doing fine that process helped me memorize skull forms as well, ignore the other anons. after you get more comfortable consider doing figure/portrait drawing but drawing the skull lightly before drawing on features. it's helped me understand the head a lot more, why certain areas are in shadow, etc
>>
>>7366261
It’s not the same at all anon. I’m not directly looking at it and replicating it, I’m using it as a baseline to draw from imagination more. By having a ref that I draw from imagination from, I know what looks right/wrong and can reproduce it easier. I’m gonna do more without any reference of course, but this is what’s helping me right NOW.

>>7366264
That’s good to hear that it helped you as well. I’m just in the phase of still learning/understanding the elements of the skull, which is a lot harder than I would’ve thought. And yeah, skull studies are always valuable. I think once I fully comprehend drawing the skull/skeleton from imagination drawing the figure will become much much simpler
>>
>>7366265
>Look at ref
>Draw and make corrections

>>
>>7366266

Like, why are you doing a rough line and then looking to go over it for, instead of drawing shapes with lines going into each other then erasing parts of the lines that you don't want?

>>

2. Draw a tall box, minding perspective
3. Draw the tower within the box

>>7365963
>It'a cute but her head is definitely too big for the rest of her body. I don't think it's a chibi or anything so for this one try to be more aware of proportions and draw from reference
Yeah, I see what you mean about the proportions being off. I really need to get back into the process of drawing again. I'm always forgetting the "step back and make sure your figure's proportions aren't retarded" step.

>This ones cool and looks drawn from reference. I wouldn't guess both were made by the same person since this ones way better. Study cloth folds. Those clothes could be way more interesting and dynamic looking even if its pixel art
Oh thanks! I did use a reference for both but I just put a lot more time into this one I guess. Consistency is really something I need to build up. Right now it can swing very widely.

>>7365979
Yeah... I think the idea was that the perspective was kind of low to the ground leading to the legs being a bit longer due to perspective than a flat angle. I don't think I really have the skill to pull it off, especially with this low of a resolution of pixel art. It all ended up coming off a bit awkwardly.
>>
>>7366326
To draw decent structures find any perspective course. Perspective is very simple (but not very easy) so they're all very similar. Can't help you with landscapes, sorry.

To draw better lines you have to practice drawing confidently with your shoulder or arm.
It takes more time to get good lines on digital compared to trad but you got to learn it.
>>
>>7366326
Just raise stabilization up when you want to draw your lineart
Drawing clear and smooth lines in digital is harder because you're drawing on a glass surface

Did you put down an eye line? Because your eyes are in two different zipcodes.
Did you put down a brown line? Because your brows and ears are completely misaligned.
Did you pay any attention to proportions? Because your forehead is half the size of the ref.
Did you pay any attention to shapes?
Because you symbol drew the eyes and the top of the head is completely different.

goddamnit. I'm gonna chop it up into multiple posts
Did this at about 2x the scale I normally do. I think it turned out ok, but a little weird. Give any feedback, please

Study how other artists draw faces

Looks pretty good. The one thing I notice is the folds in the cloth but that's as hard as hands to get good at.
>>7365926
Looks very good, though your eyes are a bit out of alignment.
>>7365959
The skirt looks kinda rough. I think you should study more women sitting in skirts
>>7365972
I like the eyes and eyebrows, but the hair seems a little weaker

Fuck. You. Miserable. Piece. Of. Unhelpful. Shit. Sorry for asking /beg/ questions in the /beg/ thread.

Very flat looking, study cylinders some more

I think it's due to the limbs not really flowing into the torso, so it feels a bit like a posed mannequin

Study a mix of real and anime hair

I don't know what I need to write here to not get flagged as spam, so I'm just going to fill out a large text block with filler text and hope that lets me avoid the spam filter. You can ignore all this.

And some more bullshit for the final post. Hopefully I won't need to split this out into a fourth post.

>>7366362
I use the basic shape method but then I also just draw the silhouette of the face. Also, you made his head less pointy than it actually is.
>>7366389
The hips look really rough

Every time you try, you get closer to figuring it out

It still think's I'm spamming so I'm going to add some random greentext

For all I know the spam filter is retarded and it's actually just a limit on the number of posts you're allowed to >> before it says you're spamming. But then that makes me wonder how those spam bots get around that. Thanks for making me take 4 posrs

The big thing I'm having trouble with is not making "flyby"s, as seen in the top right
>>
>>7366909
When doing wrapping lines on spheroids or cylinders, look at how the lines curve much sharper when they approach the edge. If you're doing the "fly by's," it's probably a mix of rushing and not curving enough at the edges.
>>
>>7366909
try drawing the wrapping as a ellipse, even the part that you can't see.

NTA but after checking the archive i realized this guy has been clocking you for the last year on these threads.
