Berlin gets a lot of shit yet everyone seems to want to move there. It's incredibly diverse. Almost every borough has its own identity which is pretty cool. Lots of green areas and bodies of water. I think Berlin is quite alright as far as similarly-sized cities ago but I'm generally not a fan of huge cities. Has its fair share of problems as well of course; more and more homeless people and public drug use, ghettofication and gentrification, trash, insane rent prices, overloaded public transport, too much traffic coupled with a lack of parking options, mediocre cycling infrastructure etc.

>>223758344I went there in 2018, it's basically that, but there's a Native American reservation which is straight out of the third world, but has a completely modern high school and visitor center thanks to Uncle Sam. Not much to do otherwise besides maybe fish it. Nevada outside of the Reno-Sparks and Vegas metro is basically completely deserted. It's beautiful in a very eerie way. There's a peak near there I want to do someday as well.

Been a while since I've visited here, just as dreary and creepy as it was when I drove through 10-15 years ago. I was in the area, I had to bag an Oregon county for you guys. Stopped for gas and Dairy Queen (first time ever, not in California) and they pumped my gas for me, which is a classic Oregon urban legend. I remember watching the attendant do it when I was like 6-7 passing through some small town on OR-97 going to visit my grandmother in Bend.
