You can get torque from gearing though. The AGT1500's quoted 2750 ft-lbs at 3000 RPM is measured at the output of an integral 7.5:1 reducer gear; at the turbine shaft it's actually generating a peak of 366 ft-lbs at 22,500 RPM.

its almost like technology, material science, and manufacturing has all improved in 45 years.... ground breaking stuff now we can effectively implement good ideas at a reasonable cost for the 2nd largest now largest tank force

As someone who has had to manipulate a keyboard and mouse on the road, I can say controller buttons are the superior choice. If you really need a hundred switches for macros and the like, you can stick them on the sides of the vehicle like in an airplane cockpit.

I would try to align your sight wire parallel with the contrail and get a bearing (heading) for the aircraft. On your interstate map, plot or project the course, say 39° magnetic, north bound, the projection should intersect "Ashville/Kansas City/St. Paul/ect" or likely destination. Inspite of living in a state with an international airport, I get fly-overs and contrails all the time. Some days, clear as a bell, but they are still up there. The contrails just make it easier.

Lockheed Martin's latest promotional video about their LRASM antiship missile engaging a Chinese Type 055 Cruiser launched from a F-35
19 replies and 1 image omitted. Click here to view.
>>
>>64759655
because then F-35 loses any "stealth" and can be run down and killed by a Temu knockoff Yak-130 with WTF Temu missile the Pakis used on Hindu Rafale.

Locksneed not wrong, its just that same thing will be happening the other way, and China will have 3x many ships, and as proven by Egyptians in 1970s, a small ship can launch a big missile due to physics, and the Chinese have 750,000 such craft. Literally one for about every 10 miles of entire world's ocean.
>>
>>64760128
The LRASM itself is LRO and the range is 1000+ km, so it can launch far outside of a ship's engagement range. Chinese aircraft don't matter because they'll only have them for the first 5 minutes of the war.
>>
>>64759875
LRASM has a low RCS so there's a good chance the warship hasn't noticed them yet.
>>
>>64759963
People DO NOT comprehend how nuts this is. A globe master can literally shit out pallets of these fuckers and say “go kill some chink destroyers or anything bigger than that” and they will literally go and seek them out, feeding back SIGINT and ELINT the whole way there.
>>
>>64760182
>>64760191
Any talk of what the RCS actually is? Depending on that the chinks really May struggle to find these things in the wild. The sense I get too is that the missile’s ability to avoid AA umbrellas isn’t just the blanket engagement range of the adversary a la tacview but a smaller radius where - depending on the radar used - the missile could actually get detected. Which itself speaks to locksneed knowing a lot about enemy radar abilities.

I agree, the window by the port looks good but everything else doesn’t. The guns are custom if you order through nighthawk so you can have them use normal serrations or a different model’s serration style.

Retards will always exist, IMO the biggest problem of AI videos are the false positives, people losing their sense of wonder because something wild will become likely to be AI slop in their radars.
>>
>>64754231
The whole point of being stealthy is to be able to get closer to the enemy without detection, and if you're closer you might as well just stick rockets to the bombs the aircraft would be carrying and cut out the middle man.

You've heard of FRTs, but what's a "super safety"?
>uses the safety to force the reset of the trigger
>allows for way more trigger options (you just have to trim two places)
>invented by Tim Hoffman (https://hoffmantactical.com)
>gifted to the world to freely 3D print
>enterprising people now selling super safeties made of steel (recommend at least 4140)
>cheaper than an FRT ($90-$150)
>originally a 3-position cross-bolt safety
>left is safe, right is semi, middle is super
>3-position 90° super safety selectors are now available

>People without moral principals always have more fun
>>64759073
Not seeing you denying the truth here.
>>
>>64759123
This makes sense. The real auto sear is a lot thinner than a thick ass super safety designed for printed plastic and you don't hear about those wearing out.
>>
>>64759285
Well the autosear also doesn't have to force a reset so there's less stress being put on it. That being said, an FRT only has to overcome finger pressure so it should be able to be made as reliable as any other part of a trigger.
>>
>>64758918
No I was referring to the MAC and Vz61 having rate reducers - the mac one is in testing and design, the Vz61 solution is prototyped near production, the Evo has a roller/bearing locked reciever conversion from Nexus which makes it FRT ready.
