The general for discussing homemade and amateur firearms

Last thread: >>/64549287/

I often see homemade firearms being constructed very crudely out of things like pipes, sheet metal, dremeled slabs of mystery meat steel, and all other sorts of things, but why is it that I don't often see homemade guns made by people who know what they're doing?
A significant amount of homemade firearms I see are done as a hobby, and making a firearm takes someone who knows how to work with metal, but you dont often see them actually milling guns with a machine, pic rel.
Or maybe those types of guns tend to be so well made that they arent usually distinguished as homemade?

I had a similar sorta idea but it would be a FCU similar to the sig p320,Ruger rxm, and Kel tec p11 that you could just put together with screws and place in a frame
>>
>>64674435
You would need to sell rougher blanks also gaytf making 80%s being serialized. Overall diminishing returns and then I use a 0% 1.75mm plastic filament on a spool to make a 100%

There are alot of kurds in Japan, it would be for protection and fun to plink with, we'll live 2 hours from Tokyo in an area close to the forest. It's illegal AF but I trust my wife not to snitch on me but I still wouldn't let her know, specially my in-laws.
>>
>>64673686
I'm not sure what's available in Japan but there should be ramset blanks. Failing that flare cartridges sometimes have salvageable primers, pest control cartridges, theatrical blanks maybe cap gun caps if one was desperate.
>>
>>64674792
It still seems like a “juice not worth the squeeze“ situation.
Japan also seems to be tough on crime, especially for foreigners.
A crossbow or a fucking sword seems like a more sensible idea.

Do freighters have any fucking defenses against being boarded by helicopters? I mean they have to have some small arms or maybe a mounted machine gun or some sort of AA battery right to defend against piracy?

Are you really telling me like a small fire team of troops can takeover a freighter?

we know when the Indians leave their own ports using sensors found on the other side of the Pacific. We've got every ship of the Chinese navy tracked, and that includes the fishing vessels with fire hoses.
we are perfectly capable of watching every single ship that comes out of Venezuelan ports even if their transponders are claiming they're four hundred miles to the west.

No. I can't think of any instance in which the word Fucking could be used as either an adjective or adverb and not be capitalized, let alone as a strong verb. It's just not even possible in my mind and I would question anyone that doesn't capitalize it for strength.

You've heard of FRTs, but what's a "super safety"?
>uses the safety to force the reset of the trigger
>allows for way more trigger options (you just have to trim two places)
>invented by Tim Hoffman (https://hoffmantactical.com)
>gifted to the world to freely 3D print
>enterprising people now selling super safeties made of steel (recommend at least 4140)
>cheaper than an FRT ($90-$150)
>originally a 3-position cross-bolt safety
>left is safe, right is semi, middle is super
>3-position 90° super safety selectors are now available

>An anon in here claimed he was in the latter stage of developing one with plans to sell it.
yeah, waiting to hear back from the ATF on their classification. may be a few months, nobody knows the real timeline. people ive met are saying it will take minimum two months. i've had the completed version for over a year at this point.
no idea what system the pic in >>64674857 will be but i doubt it will be the one i have come up with.
almost every pistol is using the same exploit. barrel tilt into trigger reset, which sucks. so likely they will as well. also mines selectable.
I have medium-larger companies already ready to jump on it but they want ATF's OK first. a lot of the smaller shops seem to be not asking any questions and just going for it.
also mine is very reliable, compared to other pistol FRT's where the reset doesnt always happen.
i'll ask if they are cool with video drops.

Why?! Why are people still doing this boomerfud shit? You know if it's an FRT it's not something that is ambiguous. And even if the BEFAT division sends you a letter saying it probably isn't a MG according to current understanding or whatever bureaucrat weasel language they decide on come 2029 all that shit will be out the window. People have a few years to make as many FRTs as humanly possible without fed interference, the only real obstacle is how fast raregreed's paper mill can churn out the paper they'll print their bullshit lawsuits on. The ATF won't touch them again during this term because having to return the FRTs they stole was massively humiliating, and they don't want FRTs anywhere near SCOTUS.

Paul never used red dots or really any kind of optic. Was he right/wrong?

I also miss Paul on another note.

Paul was obviously good at a lot of different things and in my experience shooting the same gun with a red dot and irons I shoot tighter groups with a dot, but a lot of the main benefits of a red dot, ie being faster, having both eyes open, being able to be used in all lighting conditions, parallax free are unrelated to the fact that Paul won a bunch of shooting competitions that were, I'm assuming, based on accuracy
>>
>>64668600
Paul also swore up and down you only needed a Kahr .40 shit and weak subcompact for HD, CC, and everything in between, and if you owned anything other than a double barrel 20 gauge and durr rifle, you're a mall ninja who's going to kill everybody around you.

The only things that come to mind
α: Having a detachable silencer obviously means it's not married to one gun (pic related) and you can still achieve a slick look (pic related)
2: The tube is made of aluminum, which means you won't be cleaning it easily with dip or ultrasonic, though depending on what kind of titanium the baffles are made of you may be able to clean them harshly
C: Looks like it uses K baffles which are 1980s tech, not great not horrible
Otherwise they look cool. If you already have a .22 silencer, an integral barrel is a sweet addition to the lineup, otherwise you're hamstringing yourself by not having one that's detachable imo

It is very established that the bolsheviks were mostly jewish early on. They then went on the run much of the terror operation imvolved in keeping dissidents in line.
They were uniquely literate at the time because their religion teaches them to read early in life. While the average peasant couldn't read a telegram or letter with orders or send a report back.

There is pictures of them and it looks like hundreds of rabbis gathered in orthodox jewish attire.

Ok but what's the point of building a battleship when armor plating is useless anyway and a well-placed missile can sink any ship without the cannons being able to do anything about it?That's a shitty idea no matter how you look at it, they would have been better off building a mobile missile platform, it's just as useless but at least it's scary

Probably. The memoirs of the soviet test pilot i read contained bitching about it being such a worthless and atrocious deathtrap that it kept eating their super trained test pilots like flies in about half the pages about it. Probably the most difficult to recover from deathspins in a soviet plane ever, and you could easily enter into one in vastly different maneuvers depending on the wing angle configuration. Also some of the worst visibility from a postwar soviet plane on top of it all.

Sounds like one group were typical slav(e)ic peanutbrains with no regard whether they live or die (they're in hell anyway), while the other group were hyperfocused autismos who understood that "exceeding these parameters will result in a departure from controlled flight" means exceeding these parameters will result in a departure from controlled flight.

I mean the one thing consistent with homo sovieticus is their complacency, and treating rules written in blood, and safety tolerances written in kabooms as optional guidelines that only apply in ideal conditions (i.e. on parade or inspection when Comrade Minister is watching).
>>
>>64674724
The American pilots that tested it said it had two saving graces. Tremendous acceleration and sheer straight line speed at low altitude. The latter becoming a concern for F-111 crews. As for the plane overall, in the words of one test pilot "he flew like the plane was trying to kill him at any moment."

That depends highly on the location and the time period.
Most cities would have a militia that served as law enforcement, and depending on how it was organized they would have to buy their own equipment using personal or public funds.
