I've been reading up on these fascinating weapons and couldn't help developing a curiosity about them.

1, Are incendiary weapons actually useful or it's just fuck you collateral damage? We no longer use highly flammable wood for anything important anymore.
2, Do they work like in my tacticool games of Counter Strike or are they different? I mean, I'm sure they are not supposed to fizzle out after 7 seconds...
3, What's the better fuel for Molotovs, alcohol, ethanol, gasoline, diesel or a mix of them? All of these are treated equal but I'm sure each has their own characteristics like flash point, so I'm wondering if there is a best overall recipe.
4, What situations can you imagine incendiary weapons being useful in a modern battlefield? Burning down entire forests I can understand, but why risk using them in CQC?

It's fun stuff. Imagine the soap parties :DD Here's a recipe from a usenet group from 1999.

>How to make napalm

>Basic recipe:

>Aluminum soap
>Gasoline

>Put gasoline in a container and add aluminum soap until the consistency resembles kissel. Voila.

>As additional seasonings, you can use, for example, adhesion promoting substances such as polystyrene or substances that increase the combustion temperature such as phosphorus and its derivatives.

>(Obligatory note: It goes without saying that the aforementioned playing around with highly flammable and toxic chemicals is extremely dangerous. Any jubilant idiot who goes and makes napalm using these instructions fully deserves everything that happens to him. TS. No point in complaining to me if the concoction burns your eyes)

Unless we're supposed to *wink* *wink* use a steel cheese grater.
>>
>>64752965
Fuck that. Turn it and put the shavings in a tumbler.
Also just just discovered that aluminum and lye released hydrogen when combined.

Target shooting general
A thread that dies because anon in it actually shoot.

I'm wanting a target rifle for 20 and 50 metre smallbore. I'm thinking that I'll just get a BSA International but what other rifles are an option for around 1k in Australia?

We used to have groups threads and such with some regularity but the last one I tried last year did indeed die despite a few anon's efforts. I wish you luck though OP.
>>64749995
The Tikka T1x is genuinely really fun and enjoyable just like its big brother, quite accurate, and you should be able to get one for around $650-700. There are other good choices and fancier options for sure but I think there's rapidly diminishing returns if you're not doing pro comp or something.
>>
>>64750017
I think I'll just make a weekly thread when I start shooting again.

Doesn't look like it has a front sight dovetail.
Did some googling and if I get one with a threaded end I'd be able to screw on a dovetail to the muzzle.

I can’t believe it took a 30 minute video to say what we already knew, which is that 10mm Auto is the superior automatic handgun cartridge, and that only after having to water it and then .40 S&W down for the women, manlets, and fags in the FBI did they just settle on 9mm because there was no difference at that point. Amazing.
>But muh fire rate!
Literally doesn’t matter in a combat scenario, doubly so if your shots don’t actually land. Paul Harrell already established this in his 1986 Miami Dade shootout analysis.

Lift weights and carry 10mm, anons.

Explain, surely the recoil difference is negligible between .40, .45 and 9mm +p/+p+. Then again i will shoot plain jane 9mm and .40 back to back and not notice much of a difference on identical platforms(i imagine properly sprung .40 makes a difference), and im a lanklet

I have no idea, don't even know what genre of music "asmr" is? But I listen to all my music from classical to rock to pop, and good lossless files too, via Shure IEMs and the quality is very good with decent isolation as well. And wearing something else over them doesn't affect that, they aren't open. So I don't see why whatever music that is wouldn't work too. If you've never used them before though I'd buy something ultra cheap first to see if you are ok with things in your ears at all, some folks can't stand it.

I know there are normal earmuffs with integrated radios and probably speakers too, but I don't know how good the NRR is. Something to be careful of, something designed for use with basic power tools might not be enough for the range.

Also to add suppressors are $0 tax now and prices will start to fall with no more stupid floor. If you aren't in a shithole place consider that as part of your mix also.

Israel depends on germany for submarines and last nuclear resort options so that won't happen between russia and germany israel will side with germany.

That said Israel is probably the only big manufacturer that sells this type of stuff without the ability to turn these off, their reputation is bad enough that a single case of that happening would destroy their arms industry and they depend on exports to keep economies of scale going there.

How are they still in business? shotgun sales are in the shitter and even if they do sell someone a shotgun, how many shotguns do people buy in their life time?
>but they sell .22s
are you really going to buy a mossberg .22 over a 10/22?
>the patriot
are you going to buy a mossberg patriot over a ruger or savage at basically the same price point?
>handguns
they sell handguns? have you ever seen someone with a mossberg handgun?
Henry's another one. Are there really that many people buying lever actions and single shot break actions? It's even worse than car companies because guns are cheaper than cars and .22s and hunting guns last basically forever

>The Americans can no longer be trusted
>Russia is threatening
>China is threatening
>The Americans are threatening

Why don’t all countries just acquire nuclear weapons? If sufficient numbers of countries take this step then all threats of sanctions from non-compliance lose their significance. Israel already set the precedent by showing how nuclear weapons inspections and the sanctions tied to them have no meaning.

First one should build a large stockpile of nerve agents and genetically modified biological weapons so that deterrence remains in effect while the bombs are being built. Olympic pools of VX being pumped to cheap drones with spray tanks would be enough since the poison will remain in the terrain as microscopic droplets for months thus neutralizing enemy population centers even if the vast majority of launches are intercepted.

We have just seen the US carry out Operation Absolute Resolve, a flawless raid in Venezuela but there's so much more than what meets the eye.
The fact that the Nightstalkers could just infil and exfil on gunships guns blazing is insane in the era of gay drones and MANPADS.
They didn't even have to worry about the overall IADS. IR dazzlers or just shooting back was very effective against any fuckers that tried to get a shot off. More than half of the air assets in theater being SIGINT and EW just shows the importance of spectral dominance in addition to SEAD and as SEAD itself. It's obvious Growlers used their brand spanking new mid-band Growler pods to jam fire control radars, F-35s used their Barracuda suites, but what the EC-130H's were doing could be anyone's guess. But the power went out and that says something.

On intelligence terms, yes.

The US had a hugely effective network of intelligence and moles in his inner circle. All sleeper cells and special forces deep inside the country waiting to strike. That's impressive.

There's also the actual operation, some noises about that new weapon they used to momentarily paralyse soldiers. Who knows.
