what 10/22 should i get? i like the wood carbine with iron sights but the slick one with receiver rail looks cool too. will i miss not having iron sights? is there any accuracy advantage to stainless barrel?

*Romeo RS Compact is Shield, Romeo RS (Pro) is DPP
>>
>>64672898
If you get a Sig micro I would get the bigger window with the DPP footprint. But I think most of Sigs optics are all chinese parts anyway so its a question of which hands are assembling them.
>>
>>64672899
red dots have unlimited eye relief. it's not really different than a pistol optic other than the fact that since you have a stock you never waste any time finding the dot
>>
>>64672950
can eye relief truly be infinite, because if that’s the case why not just mount it on the front sight and call it a day.
>>
>>64673082
front heavy and probably not a good mount point

Still reeling from the sheer retardation of the Battleship proposal, plus that it'll be replacing the DDG(X) project.

But the FF(X) looks good. It won't have VLS in it's first flight, but it'll have an established supply chain and available logistics for repair and maintenance. As long as they don't try to make more capable than it needs to be, i think it'll be a good boat.

I will add on top of what everyone else has said, the range in the light version will be insane. Nat security cutters are 10k+ nautical miles. That's steaming from the east coast to Japan range.

As a peer reviewed and accredited niggerologist, I can pretty much guarantee you there was a popular rap song that mentioned it, then other niggers started buying them as a flex and name dropping them in their own rap songs, and now it's a nigger gun and we should all stay away from them for the next 20 to 40 years until it becomes cool in an ironic way to own them like a tec9 or ring of fire pistol.

>(although everyone obviously knows and acknowledges that the MP5 won't be surpassed)
There's your answer then. The UMP was meant to replace the MP5. It was so awful that no one wanted to replace their MP5s with it, making it a bust. It is also, frankly, impressively miserable to shoot.

>>
>>64672825
Japan invested in modern hyper-efficient mills after WW2 and was basically the steel supplier for the rest of Asia until China started waking up

American companies tried to keep using plants from before the turn of the century and then when the time came to replace them they said "meh we'll never beat thirdies on cost" and shut down instead

>And how do you booby trap the cockpit in a way that won't fail pre-flight check?
If I had a manual that included the pre-flight check list, I'd rewire a few of the initial switches that have to be swatched and that would detonate the bomb. You want to do the first 5 or so, in case the pilot decides to skip a few steps. You want them early on the list so your tampering won't go as noticed.
>>
If something like a gust lock were secretly installed on the moving surface, would it be discovered during pre-flight check?
>>
>>64664911
Do you think real life sabotage is carried out by highly qualified technicians and not local retards or something? Do you think hacking a jet to fire on friendly forces is easy on a turned off jet that has its cockpit locked, and all its electronics underneath screwed panels that would be easy to spot damage too and take like 5 hours on the enemy airfield?
It's like your understanding of reality comes from cartoons or vidya?

I have this one and the sylvan adapter which ran fine out the box but doesn't have LRBHO and I don't like where the mag release is for a comp gun. The only issue you may run in to with the stern is that the ejector will need to be heated and bent properly in to position so you don't get FTEs out that ass. I did mine in 10 minutes with a butane torch and two wrenches but if it's hardened steel it'll snap. blowback9 and r/ar9 have a bunch of tutorials on how to do it yourself but take that in to consideration

Any acid powerful enough to dissolve lead is going to eat your suppressor too.

Really we should all be using disposable 5$ 3D-printed suppressors for 22LR.
