Buying original weapons from before 1900 is the only way to legally buy cartridge firearms without a license in my country

In the US that would be good advice since 16ga is uncommon here. But if anon is French, that's a whole different ballgame. 16ga is common in France.

I have no idea what a fair price would be in France. In the US it wouldn't be worth much because it's not in collector condition and its in an unpopular gauge.
>>
>>64748510
That gun is nowhere near collector desirable condition.
>>
>>64748517
Based on the photos, it would rate as a very strong NRA "Fine", arguably "Excellent" based on the pristine wood and the high degree of original finish. I would have to see it in person to grade it accurately. Most collectors would be pleased to have this weapon, especially as it is a less common 16ga. The main detractor is the large bark on the side of the frame, but otherwise this is a very nice weapon.
>>
>>64748551
pump handle looks refinished, screw slots look bubbaed, the wrist is almost certainly broken which is why it's been wrapped with string. It's not junk, I bet it's a fine shooter, but it's not some high grade piece that collectors would drool over.
>>
>>64748575
OP's picture is not the firearm on the listing. If you follow the link, you will see that it is a much nicer example. The OP picture is a low "Fair".

And it's obviously a bodged-in replacement part for a more modern component. Possibly an oscillator that would be available for half a dollar if not for the sanctions.

Word on the street is that the US bagged another 2 shadow fleet tankers today. With one of the tankers being captured using these little guys. Have we begun breaching into the Tom Clancy timeline, or have we always been in the timeline without us knowing?

Also, a general thread on these little guys and what can be done to improve on their airframes and tactical usage.

That's arguably the point, be militarily irrelevant so nobody bothers spending money on keeping up with your army and then everyone just gets prosperous and the world gets better and nobody needs to fight (much).

Of course we know how The End Of History worked out but it was doing ok there for a while, all the army the 1st world needed was just enough to intervene in an ethnic cleansing somewhere or maybe extract a prime minister from a coup.

Exactly, though the reason why western manufacturers are abandoning the low-cost segment also has a lot to do with government policy
Western governments are like
>you can't produce cars that are too unsafe or polluting, you must respect the unions and can't fire unproductive employees unless they murder someone and if you ever break any of the rules we will fine you billions. We'll be nice and give you tax breaks every now and then if you're in trouble though.
Meanwhile in China
>here's 100 trillion yuan, cheap land, rural slaves and subsidized materials. You can pollute as much as you want as long as you're producing anything that has 4 wheels and an engine. We'll make sure you also own at least 51% of any joint venture with foreign manufacturers so make sure to steal whatever tech you can get your hands on. Make sure to make EV's instead of ICE cars though, we basically have a monopoly on batteries and you guys suck at making ICE cars anyway.
>>
>>64745276
this doesn't make any sense.
ev cars are less polluting than ice cars.
ev car makers in china have no history as ice car makers but evolved from battery cell makers.

in reality every chinese industry hub funded its own player: BYD (Shenzhen), NIO (Hefei), GAC Aion (Guangzhou), SAIC (Shanghai), etc.
the west simply doesn't have any such industry hubs anymore.
>>
>>64746264
And yet this modern state of affairs is deliberate on the part of the west
We think its good, desirable to have everyone move to subburbs while foreigners come in

You could never scale a company up, like BYD did in the USA or Europe
>>
>>64746264
>ev cars are less polluting than ice cars.
By pollute I mean that they can dump industrial waste wherever they want because environmental regulations are lax
>ev car makers in china have no history as ice car makers but evolved from battery cell makers.
Only BYD started out as a battery company afaik. SAIC, Geely, GAC, Chery were all regular car manufacturers before they started making EV's.
EV's are also still cars, BYD had to hire automotive engineers and designers to design the frame, body, powertrain, software, etc etc
>>
>>64746304
why would you want to do that? they produce millions of EVs that no-one is buying, which is why they are so cheap
entirely state funded. wow amazing, cant wait to have a company make millions of cars for absolutely no fucking reason

>sure we compared it to watered down .40 and .45 with bad bullet design that we used because it let women and manlets qualify...but but its better it is!
Idk why the FBI is the basis for peoples choice in personal defensive weapons when their criteria is letting female detectives not limp wrist jam glawks in the incredibly rare shootouts they have, but be my guest i suppose
>>
Why doesn't the FBI let each agent use their preferred weapon?

they got a lot of guns, a lot of agents, and barely any kills as an organization. I don't think it matters what they carry, at all. The opinions on what they carry from members of this forum matters even less.

My guess is that it's lost media because both threads on X had people asking who subbed it and no one answered.

https://x.com/pokke_inhaler/status/2010023932657811901

I ran it through Grok and Grok's guess is that it was something distributed through private trackers or something and not released to the internet at large.

Funny you mentioned the possibility of anons subbing it because I found the first two episodes did get an anon sub years ago but I looked at the preview images and the font is different.

I’m not really concerned with what women do. I don’t feel slighted in the least when women talk about manbots, at least not as much as women feel slighted over wifebots. I’ve almost entirely given up on “real” women anyway, they’re just not worth the effort anymore. I just want a Doll wife to greet me when I come home from work, cook me a meal, and hug my head against her chest as I fall asleep. I genuinely don’t see how that’s a problem for anyone, but women would beg to differ for some reason

The issue is that most bags use zippers. Meanwhile the shit like OP uses Velcro and is specifically located in a spot where you can just slip your hand inside and grab the grip since it's intended for you to do that. Pretty much everything larger is zippers, with a large compartment and then smaller zippered ones inside. If you wanna Grey Man, you're throwing important time away on a pack you to swing around, unzip at least one compartment, and then fish for the pistol from probably a less than ideal orientation to get it to fit in there.
>>
>>64748561
>The issue is that most bags use zippers.
won't argue that, putting your carry gun behind a zipper is dumb. They make these bags with both zipper and velcro compartment.
