this thing will probably be the best all-rounder daylight optic for the foreseeable future.throw a dot on top and you're set. what more could you ask for?
>>64744493these things are perfect battle rifle/DMR optics
>>64747247I'm sure Ill get plenty of hate but when I think "DMR" I'm thinking at least 800 yards and out there I'd probably want 20x or even like a 25-30x
>>64747887DMR is like ~1km and in. you're not shooting exclusively at range and you're still part of a squad that's running around doing normal squad things.30x is stationary sniper hide type shit where the targets are always super far away.if you look at actual military DMRs, they're all medium power scopes.
>>64747898There is 5-25x and even 4-32x optics out there dude
>>64732839who is this even for?
How many presidents directly oversaw spec:ops missions? What do you think the view was for Trump during the Maduro raid? Was Richard Nixon in the operations room with MACV-SOG?
>>64747990Not spec ops, but Lincoln had a habit to personally relaying orders to generals because he basically had an entire telegraph office set up in the White House and would spend hours each day reading every single communiqué that came in. This meant that he he often had more real time updates on the progress of battles than officers in the field.

Word on the street is that the US bagged another 2 shadow fleet tankers today. With one of the tankers being captured using these little guys. Have we begun breaching into the Tom Clancy timeline, or have we always been in the timeline without us knowing? Also, a general thread on these little guys and what can be done to improve on their airframes and tactical usage.
>>64729245I mean they could benefit from a belly pylon for a minigun or rocket pod. That way, they can still be armed and carry infantry at the same time.
>>64747360>Like in Australia and the UK it's been completely bipartisan to support Ukraine because of course it isThey definitely have their anti-war, anti-nuclear movements and was the USSR meddling in those? Probably.I *know* that the USSR made attempts to subvert the trade union movement in Australia because I personally know a unionist who was invited to COMINTERN when he was a young radical. He went along and the experience of being in Moscow for training left him radicalised against communism/socialism and softened his radicalism somewhat and he became a kind of win-win unionist where he accepts that capitalism provides jobs and businesses need to turn at least a small profit to survive and for people to keep their jobs.He always told me that seeing communism up close was the best cure for it.He'd be about 90 now so this wasn't a recent thing and I met him after the USSR had collapsed.I guess Russia didn't maintain that influence in that place, or Australians just told the tankies to fuck off, or that the watermelons etc just had the self-awareness to accept Russian propaganda about nukes but laughed at any idea that their expansionism is in any way just.
>>64747389>they could benefit from a belly pylonThey don't have much clearance and presumably land on rough, unprepared ground all the time. You wouldn't want to come down hard and crush your launcher on a tall rock.

>>64747707He was quoting me, but he failed to cite his sources.
>>64746609The big thing about lasers is that once we hit the point of no return it's going to be like falling off a cliff. The implications of the advent of true lasers on warfare are pretty obvious and have been well-studied for several decades but we're only just now approaching the sorts of power generation and energy storage that you need to pump a useful beam. There are various reasons for this but the main one is that we just haven't needed it. Ukraine gave a lot of people a kick in the ass which is why so much tech has randomly gotten better since 2021. It's likely that by 2035 lasers will have hit the point of no return since they're currently following their own version of Moore's law.The nanosecond someone (the US) develops a scalable megawatt laser the old paradigm of muh nooks falls off. One or two such laser batteries can protect a whole region from both ICBMs and Planes which knocks all three legs of the standard nuclear triad out at once. The way to get past a laser is to attack it with lots of expendable weapons, which nukes and planes aren't. Cheap drones and lasers go hand in hand in terms of dominating the old paradigm.Laserfags will rule the world soon enough.
>>64746751and the reflections have large risk of blinding other unintended people not just your target
>>64747970That's exactly it, I didn't mean the millions of civilians would even be intentionally targeted. Blasting each other with maybe even as low as 10 watt lasers would be a serious blinding hazard for every living thing within miles. It's like if every time you fired a gun one hundred bullets were fired off in every direction from the point of impact, only that metaphor is under selling it if anything.

When i got laid off from my cushy tech job they gave me a big fuckin blanket of a severance package, cashed out all my vacation hours, gave a lump sum of estimated medical benefits charges, all that stuff.I used that to keep stable for about a year and find another job, get a new apartment, and buy some things i needed to buy.My absolute last 700 dollars from that pile of cash was used on this cool lil guy.The best part is that i've been looking for a beretta compact forever but didn't like that only Landberg Tactickstein has them in their most basic configuration. By swapping the slide and barrel it removes most of the LTT branding except for the serial number starting with LTT.

A lot of women talk big game about how a ton of them will also get manbots to replace men with but it will NEVER be on the same level as guys getting theirs. Women just operate differently than men and ultimately won't be satisfied with it mostly due to emotional problems and potentially being seen as a failure within their friend group especially if their buddies have biological bfs. I could be wrong but thats my belief

I am about to import 80,500 of these indian hesbee 22 short single shot handguns. They are currently in transit being shipped from India. They have sat in storage as they were built in 1959 as gunlaws became more restricted in India. If you were in my shoes, how do I make this business venture successful. I purchased each pistol at 2160 rupees (around 24$) and they cost me ($1500 for import and $5000 in shipping) so i am in for abit under $2mil. Do you think people will actually buy these or should I put my house for sale ASAP?

>>64745210Do they have to unscrew those apertures if they have to do drills or something? Also the Sig 90 or whatever it's called's sights are retarded. it has a 100 m night sight and 200, 300 and 400 meter apertures. so assuming the wiki stats are right if you just set it to 300 m you would be at worst like 6.5 inches high, if that under 300 meters. Also they're shooting at pretty big targets. if you can use the 400m sight as a 300m 6 o'clock hold, balistics calculator says a 400m zero is 28cm which is like 11 inches high at 300 yards so that would be the middle of the target, I'd assume. I'd assume the swiss just set their rifles to 300 m like the M16s
>>64745263>>reddots>are not accuracyDo you have an astigmatism or some shit? red dots are more accurate than irons if you don't have retard eyes. the main benefit of irons, other than the battery thing, is that it's common for irons to come with some form of quick windage and elevation/range adjusting with some way to return to zero, whereas red dots usually don't have a return to zero feature because most shooting competitions either disallow optics or if they allow optics people usually will go for an lvpo or otherwise magnified optic.I have one rifle with just irons and 2 rifles with irons and red dots and I shoot righter groups with the red dots than with the irons on the same rifle
>>64745237>>64745558>>64745579imo the only advantage open sights have is that if you shoot 6 o clock hold you aren't blocking the target with the top of the rear sight
