My dad handed off his collection to me a few months back, and I added it to my own. This is just the wheelguns. The Italian black powders haven't been fired in like 30 years. The Colt Navy clone is jammed. The Remington clone is functional but has 5 old loaded balls. Best way to get them back in order? Soak them in oil and drill and yank out the old shots? I really don't want to go in from the cap end. Honestly, a cartridge conversion would be my happy place.

Also, probably need to get handloading the Mk VI Webleys. He never used anything but standard .45 ACP when I was a kid, and it worked great except he blew a barrel about 10 years ago. My really nice one is in the holster. I haven't used new ammo on it, but she is shaved just like his old one.

Also need new grips on the old .38 Special police revolver. Replacements? Wood? Resin repair? What do you guys think would work best? Also got another couple .32 shorts I need to repair that are near identical to the Iver Johnson and the HR in the top shelf. Grips are the main problem, other than the nickel coating shedding. Mechanically, they seem to be solid.

Just looking to get all the old girls running again. Things were so much simpler with my old IJ .22 and my Rhino.
>>
>>64747453
Cool collection. The make special rods with a screw point on the end for pulling balls out of muzzleloaders. That would probably work. Or just unscrew the nipples, empty powder, and tap the balls out with a rod.

>>
>>64748410
Unless you have a reason to buy 16 Gauge, get the proper 12 gauge. Use the money saved to hire a company to ship it over to you in France.
https://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=20082396

Just realized you asked for non license/registered. Then go for it. That market you're always overpaying compared to registered guns where the market is larger. At least that's how I know it in Czech Republic with the 1890 cutoff date

>Is the new gen good at anything? it's just a downgrade in both the recoil spring and now the extractor.
Are you talking about sig or glock? The gen 6 glock's recoil spring is just a return to the gen 3 one which is proven. The extractor change was necessitated by the changes to the MOS system. While concerning because new, we don't know yet if its an actual downgrade.
>>64747331
The sig long extractor change was necessitated by switching to MIM because they are cheaping out on legacy models while selling them at a premium.

I'm usually shooting rifle but I've been recently discovering that shooting pistol is a lot of fun, too. It all began with me buying a LOK grip because i've read that it makes for a very different shooting feel, and now that made it just ever so slightly more comfy, and suddenly I find myself training mainly for pistol.

Anywho, I'm really considering putting some extra love into my 92 fs, and I really would want to get a LTT Trigger Job In a Bag, but it's kinda hefty of a price tag (will cost me about ~300$ after import feefees and taxes and shit like that), plus it's sold out and idk when it will be in stock.

Any alternatives? All i can read is that the TJIAB is the greatest thing since sliced bread so I kinda would wait, but idk how long i have to wait for it to be back in stock, plus I could just buy a Wilson Combat Deluxe Spring kit for 50$ish but idk how much "worse" that would end up be compared to the LTT.

Anyone has any pointers or takes regarding this? I'm mainly a competitive shooter (can't carry here sadly), so I'm kinda optimizing for that.

Hello everybody, Bonkanon here. Today we'll be making a morning star from exotic African hardwoods.

Most of the materials are in picrel. Wenge for the head and shaft (hehe), a piece of black-and-white ebony for the handle, and some African Blackwood for handle accents & pommel.

The barrel being below the top of the hand adn inline with the shoulder is where the controllability comes from. The whole downward moving bolt thing is just a necessary step for getting enough bolt travel without having the bolt hit the hand.

>What do people usally put on their plate carrier cummerbund
The easily accessible spots end at about your 10 and 2 o'clock. I keep tourniquets, a radio, and frag pouches up there. Anything big under your armpits is doable but not comfortable to wear and very annoying to access. Especially with side plates. I try to keep that clear if at all possible. Anything at the very back is nearly impossible to access but mostly out of the way. I keep my primary IFAK on the back left but that's a welfare queen SOP thing.

As >>64746879 said, easily accessible spots at 10 and 2, they can be though of as far edges of your front placard space. Further back than that - flat, wide, clamshell-opening GP pouches for stuff you don't need instantly but still want handy, like sustainment or observation gear.

The generals, those inveterate window-shoppers, might as well be politicians themselves.
Flips have a habit of copying the worst traits of any American system, and that's true for their officer corps: ie. chock full of ass-kissing, ticket-punching martinets who would rather spend all their career jockeying for the most lucrative retirement than being actual warriors and leaders.

They would honestly need a hot, HOT war with China to drain both the political and military swamp.

they could even bring back armored trains too to stomp on the pajeets.

Does he deserve his shit reputation for the Battles of the Isonzo? After all what else could he realistically have done? He had a very narrow mountainous front with no room for any sweeping manoeuvres or flanking. And he won most of the battles.

Bullshit, they defeated the huge Austro-Hungarian army with German support in terrain totally suited to defensive warfare. Look up the Arditi - some of the most incredibly brave and skilled soldiers who ever lived.
>>
>>64741338
His strategy was actually sound, he knew he had more manpower than Austria and so he would attack them repitedly till they run out, and in that he suceded. That said he was still one of the most incompetent generals of the war and he was facing against the best defensive general of the war (von Bonja) in the mountains, no wonder he got his ass handed to him several time anyhow.

A fairly fictional take on them, since that sort of Balkan clothing style with poofy pants or knives tucked into one's belt never reached that far north.
Like the dudes here (historical, but 1600s), imagery of Janosik (folklore, but the dude dies in early 1700s), etc.
The person who drew it would have had to encounter these people in a south European theatre, equipped with local stuff. Or been familiar with the local equipment and applied it back onto other parts of the Austrian Empire

>Rheinmetall is supplying Ukraine with additional systems for national defence. The country is set to receive its first Lynx KF41 infantry fighting vehicles as early as the beginning of 2026. A contract to this effect was signed in December 2025. The order value for the first five combat vehicles is in the mid double-digit million euro range, with the systems being financed by the Federal Republic of Germany.
>The decision in favour of the Lynx KF41 was made after extensive testing of the next-generation infantry fighting vehicle (IFV). The IFVs will feature the two-man Lance turret and be configured specifically for Ukraine’s armed forces. The next step is to procure additional batches, including production in Ukraine.

Probably. It takes time to integrate a new vehicle, not just the crews but you need maintance people trained up on it and you need the parts supply chain in place to maintain them, in addition to getting leadership to understand the strengths and weaknesses of their new toy.
