i see no point in bullpup rifles, i mean they go trough all that work, only to provide miniscule results, all because they keep recirculating AR derived slop design.

the only guns i have seen as a viable solution is either KRASA or the "grip repeating rifle", and not for its name sake.. only the bolt design.

anyhow, this is my take on what a bullpup should be.. it feeds from behind magazine, so you obtain 3 more inches of barrel, mix this with the bullpup setup and suddenly what should be a 10" barrel gun, can become a 20"..

gears are only good on larger calls, usually they don't need space, so the gears can be larger and have teeth that allows for a bit of grime.
>>64693455
yes, the madsen could be scaled down and flipped, under cheek you could have it throw out rounds easy, BUT, look at where it actually fires from.. end result would still be that of a normal bullpup.

and don't bring up TKB-022, that thing belongs in the nightmare ergonomics gulag.

The Krasa system will not give you more barrel length than what you would achieve by just minimizing the length of the bolt carrier group.
You see the Krasa still needs an ejection port behind the chamber. If you took a conventional rotating bolt action and made the BCG very short you could get it down to 1/2 of a cartridge and enjoy a very short action.
>>
>>64696346
the monkey's paw curls and gives you the G11 (which is so complicated that it can ONLY be maintained by the armorer)
>>
>>64696421
ah, yes- but this is what i was getting at with the grip repeating rifle.. something like that with a mix of forward recoil could work, but this would only end up producing a hunting rifle due to unconventional recoil.

>>64693455
just cause it tickled my fancy:
the madsen would be a horrendous looking thing, no clue how to rework the krank- best i can do is cog wheel and teethed track connected to charging handle, would be a heavy fucking beast.
>>
>>64696527
meh, long stroke piston, even more springs than original since barrel length is increased and so to will recoil impulse..

>>64696421
i mean it does provide longer barrel than the competition, ofc there are plenty of other designs one can stitch together but this one is the perfect candidate.. it shares shit with the AK platform and AR platform, but is distinct in function.. so it would be cheap to produce.

if i had my way, this would be my perfect PDW, just chambered in something like 300bo.

I personally think an 1860 army sheriff is the best. Why? Well-
>a 5 inch barrel isn’t unwieldy like an 8 inch
>44 caliber was originally intended to take down horses, so it’s plenty for home defense
>if you live in a country that allows you to cc, you could still conceal it to an extent
>also say if you get a 44 army sheriff by Pietta (yes, I would recommend Pietta), the parts are interchangeable
Like say you get that model- you can change out the army handle with a navy handle and trigger guard which tends to be a bit shorter than the army.
Wanna convert it to 36 cal and throw an 8” barrel on? No problem!! You can do that too.

>Ruger Old Army

Fun fact: since Ruger Old Army is not based on a historical design it would require a licence in Poland (and I believe in other European countries too). Not only that. Because of how silly gun laws in Poland are constructed, most people with a gun licence in Poland can't buy it as well.

One of the first quotes comparing Space Marines and Guardsmen in the entire canon gave them ten to one odds, and that was including Guard anti armor weapons and possibly vehicles. This whole argument started because some fuckwit said a Space Marine couldn't even "threaten" a squad of Guardsmen in a straight fight. Not a hundred, not a thousand, one squad, and he followed it up by saying a single Lasgun shot had a pretty good chance of punching straight through a space marine's armor.
I despise people talking up space marines into these supersonic superheroes but suggesting they operate like they do on the tabletop and the contrary opinion is "new lore" is garbage.

Hurrjet is also on the cards for Britain's Hawk replacement because of the Eurofighter deal. But M346 would allow a common airframe with other GCAP nations Italy and Japan

You clearly don’t know what phosphate is or what it’s used, you don’t know the percentage of this resource that Morocco controls via its claim to the Western Sahara and finally you don’t understand the lengths that Uncle Sam would go to in order to secure that monopoly via a client state. I’ll give you a chance to do some Google searches and then get back to the thread. Spain, even as a NATO member, would not have 1/10th the strategic value to the U.S. in a hot war against China as a country that can unilaterally shut down fertilizer production for China and any of its supporting client states.
>>
>>64697237
>. in a hot war against China as a country that can unilaterally shut down
You can't ship millions of tons if there's a hot war, fucking dumbass. You're mixing the order of things, if the US wants to control that phosphate is to blackmail China during "peace" time. KYS,.

>kinetic
This is a fucking prime example of why the US habit of using the word "kinetic" when they mean "violent" in the context of military operations is fucking retarded. We're in the middle of a conversation about whether the cause of the holes is an explosion or kinetic and we get "it appears to be kinetic... an explosion...".

Fuck everything Americans have done to this language. Jeez.
>>
>>64697185
In this case it is just government double speak.

"The terrorists were neutralized via kinetic operations before their plans could mature" sounds alot better than "we bombed some random teenagers in a tent who were mad at us because we killed their parents in a random bombing a few years ago"

They have thermals and CROWS, but they can only look in one direction at once and cant hear shit. The gunner is only looking forward, the commander with the CROWS probably has other shit to focus on, and the loader being on his own .50 means he isn't ready in his role if a threat emerges that needs some other shell.

It's been done a million times. Really makes sense that Cameron has been cooking this turd since the late 60s, what doesn't make sense is why people don't immediately recognise it for what it is. I can only assume people are getting nostalgic for the old hamfisted incitements to self-destruction.

>I disagree on deep level with low blow gotcha's like that
Because your mental illness or actual brain damage (perhaps shriveled amygdala) prevents you from practicing pattern recognition. For us humans (you wouldn't understand), these filters and friend or foe identification systems are the basis of practical reality, and any society that tolerates more than a small margin of your contrary idea annihilates itself.
Sorry but the infinitely brief period of all human existence where we shut off our pattern recognition is over and it's never coming back. You've been identified as an enemy and now everything you say is either wrong or irrelevant.
