You have to go all in on mobile warfare. Commit totally to mechanization, nobody ever goes out on foot anywhere, if people leave armor, its only momentary. But this only works if logistics can support it, and to do that, every logistics vehicle has to have a hybrid drive. To make the point, airborne would be turned from light infantry to logistics, they get dropped with forklifts and fuel tanks and support the men on the ground.

The bullpup is the infantryman's rifle. It's compact enough to be practical inside mechanised transports, it is usable in the confines of buildings and trenches, and it maintains enough barrel length to reach out further than any faggy little M4 will manage while still having a physically shorter frame. It just fucking works.

They were attempts at diplomacy
>the floating mountains don't make any sense
They're made of unobtanium which is a room temperature supeconducter and they're floating in a strong magnetic field as superconductors are known to do.
>and the magic rocks only being under the tree doesn't make any sense.
It does if you realize that the na'vi are a post technological species and that the unobtanium deposits are the remnants of an ancient power grid by their high tech ancestors which is clearly where Cameron is going with all of this.
>>
>>64694396
Ok but why did they return to monke?
>>

>Except in the movie, the unobtainium isn't in the flying moutains, it's beneath the tree.
They explicitly state the mountains are made of unobtanium as well.
>Why don't they mine the mountains then?
Because the magnetic field fucks with their sensors and communications.
>>
>>64694415
My guess is that Eywa is an AI that either destroyed their civilization and is forcibly keeping them in the stone age or they decided to willingly relinquish tech for some stupid hippy reason which sounds like the kind of gay shit Cameron would write.

Kind of shocked they sell enough to justify making them with savage and ruger in the market. also kind of shocked that winchester and I think stevens, I know savage owns stevens but I think stevens are made overseas, are the only yurotrash in that price range when there's a ton of yurotrash and chinkshit in the entry level shotgun market
>>
>>64692358
I think it's more, why would you buy a mossberg patriot when Savage and Ruger have bolt guns for about the same price
>>
>>64692777
>If the rifle can print a 3 shot 1" group
that's not 1 moa. that's a cherry picked group. granted, you really don't need a 1 moa 10 shot group for the shit most people are doing with hunting rifles anyway
>>
>>64694134
Guns are like any other tool. If you use them a lot, go for quality. If you occasionally use it here and there, go for price.
>>
>>64694303
> why would you buy an entry level bolt action if you weren't going to hunt or shoot long ranger
Because I already have a 8x57mm rifle I use for everything and a "heirloom" SKS, I bought the patriot since it was 308 which is getting ridiculously cheap here but didn't use it out of habit and because I didn't want to spend money on a new scope.
> ohm that explains it
In what way? Is there really that much quality difference between exports and domestically sold guns? I know CZs are great quality here and I saw that folks in the US are praising them as well

What's everyone's bet on the next big gimmick finish for woman guns?
First it was pink, then there was that big Tiffany blue kick now we've got cow.
There's already floral and leopard print and so on guns being marketed to women right now but those are all third party rather than factory as of current save for maybe some weirdos that prioritize having a shitload of finishes on a small catalog of guns like the late SCCY (RIP, you're being straw purchased in heaven's pawnshops now)
I'm betting on something floral.

You play Jedi Survivor?
I liked the High Republic aesthetic on the blaster.
Not the greebles but the pearl/gold/wood/beskar colour scheme. I think an elegant minimalist design with a simple palette of eye-catching contrasts with a fashion label's imprint could work.

>left is safe, right is semi, middle is super

I think you're confused. AR auto sears are not held in place with a friction fit. As >>64692997
explains the pin is held in place by a spring leg in a groove (normal installation) or by the walls of the receiver (no-hole sear holder being discussed). Not that there's anything wrong with friction fit pins when they are perpendicular to recoil. Your gas block is held in place by friction fit pins. Everything in a glock is held in by friction fit pins.
>>
>>64693306
gotcha, yeah I think I was confused, I was thinking how would this piece here >>64692497 fit in the receiver without a hole drilled, and the answer is friction apparently which is neat

>Not that there's anything wrong with friction fit pins when they are perpendicular to recoil. Your gas block is held in place by friction fit pins. Everything in a glock is held in by friction fit pins.
gotcha, fair enough, thanks for the explanation
>>
>>64693385
No it is wedged between the safety and rear of the receiver, it ain't goin anywhere. Some other designs use the rear takedown lug like a boogle.

Also set the AI to aggressive because in the normal setting sometimes the Western allies, if they are winning, don't bother to invade Normandy / Italy and just let the Soviets take all of Europe uncontested and it's really lame when that happens. Aggressive setting prevents this.

Probably a semi-autonomous using satellites from outside of Russia's borders, which is why the quality is potato and low FPS. But the drone can be guided towards position, and point the point of impact tagged. There is no realtime control, so the control of the drone is more like controlling a spacecraft somewhere between Earth and Moon.
