That's just the purchase price. Now look into the maintenance costs just to keep it airworthy. Even if you never run the engines, shit times out. And parts and the expertise needed to keep her functional don't come cheap. You're easily looking at over $500,000 in annual costs, well over $1million with fuel and expendables. If you fly it regularly, expenses go well over several million per year. That isn't your mom's Volvo. That's a cold war relic from the United States, which had the petrodollar backing a bottomless well of obscene spending.

Revolution are just a marketable term for coups. The military always deal the final blow. The term revolution has gained a certain popularity, and many coups are
graced with it because of the implication that it was “the people” rather than a few plotters who did the whole thing. Thus, the obscure aims Abd al-Karīm
Qāsim had in mind when he overthrew the Iraqi regime of King Faisal II and prime Minister Nuri es-Said are locally known as the “sacred principles of the July 14th Revolution

Masses of people do not make a revolution revolution

as Leon Trotsky pointed out long ago, the technological improvement of weapons, means of transport, and communications has widened the capability gap between organized military forces and civilians equipped with improvised weapons. Trotsky noted that, while the French mobs of 1789 could “rush” positions defended by infantry soldiers with their one-shot muzzle loaders, in 1917 a Russian mob however large and determined would be cut down by “modern” automatic weapons. By “modern,” he meant the clumsy, very heavy water-cooled Maxim machine gun on its tripod; today, every single soldier on mob control can be armed with an automatic weapon with a similar rate of fire.

The effectiveness of modern soldiers, with their rapid transport, reliable communications, and efficient weapons, means that even one single formation loyal to the regime could intervene and de feat a coup
>>
Retarded semantic argument. "Revolution" usually results in some ideological change or a drastic change in overall power structure. Like a whole new constitution or even a whole new country. "Coup" implies exclusively the military or an existing political figure, and often changes nothing whatsoever because the call came from inside the house.
>>
>>64754879
a "revolution" and a "coup" are very different in both methods and results.

Realistically, what firearm would you need to take down a rampaging Na'vi from the Avatar films? Nine feet of solid muscle and bone (reinforced with natural carbon fibre), extremely fast-moving and agile, fighting on their own turf with very short engagement distances? There's no way 5.56 mm would cut it, would 7.62mm be enough?

Oh boy another thread of people taling braindead masses slop seriously.
It's a movie with a sole purpose of telling a story. Nothing you see, are told, or that happens has any purpose or reality to it.

>>
>>64753352
I remember reading reports from Mogadishu of Rangers mag-dumping into a skinny and they were still running around and firing back for a while. Try doing that to a 9ft 600lb Na'vi.

>>64753610
Plus the muscles would be very dense like those of a chimpanzee.

According to gun lawyers the most common place your gun is going to come up is in road rage incidents, most of the time your opponents are going to tell the police you pointed a black or silver gun at them. If so it behooves you to have an obviously pink one.

>>64753964

Either the gun store is being manipulative to make people think they're getting a good deal or they are retardedly advertising that their gun has zero demand.
>>
>>64754078
you gotta be at either extreme end of the bell curve of competence for them to make sense. It's really not that hard to train a normie to use a semi auto effectively.
>>
>>64754208
many here know what you mean (ammo capacity and all that) but you know scared women would likely limp-wrist their guns during self-defense scenarios. revolvers do make sense for women just for that reason.

I'm aware, and though shielding is a thing, like with the taurus (picrel) i have intended to shoop a vertical forward grip onto my mock, as a better alternative.
The gas from the cylinder gap is only really a hazard if you place your bare skin directly against it.
>As a modern bush survival gun for the canadian environment a stocked woodsman mogs

The image i posted is just a project i have wated to do, for years neow.
>Fuck loads and legality that has nothing to do with it.
Yeah an advantage to the 22 is how easy it is to procure a massive stockpile

As I said, they were likely edits from another source, perhaps some sort of informal commentary. But as far as I remember, only a few episodes had that autism...
I shall keep my search up for the source, nonetheless!

Also, if I can get the guy who did the original releases done, we will try and reupload /ak/'s version of Kotobuki in it's glorious 720p resolution again on Nyaa. Wish I knew it was the 7th anniversary of it's release today, would have been a nice treat now rather than later.

The average diesel engine runs .001" tolerances. The average firearms run .001" up to .003" tolerances. I run 15w-40 Mobil Delvac full synthetic on my firearms. I run two versions. For general areas of the firearm with no mechanical movement, just the oil. Where there's more friction, I use that synthetic oil with a bit of Mobil red grease. I reduce the grease amount from 1 part to 15 down to 1 part per 20 by volume when temps drop. Think of your firearm as a reciprocating engine. But with an open design that can attract dirt and moisture. So you need to keep it lubricated for proper functionality. Don't leave too much oil in places with extreme pressure. Because oil doesn't compress and will cause damage. Gun oil is an extremely over hyped market. Clean your guns, lubricate liberally with conditions in mind.

>>
>>64754283
I went and looked it up and I hadn't realised that instead of the modular weapon system that the MW games use, they were still just using discrete guns. No fucking excuses then jesus christ, why is there a QBZ-95 in a game set in the 80's?
I also don't understand how the carbine AR is an 'assault rifle' but the M16 is a 'tactical rifle'. Alongside the Aug, M14 and Norinco nugget clone.
Looking this shit up made my day worse. Treyarch used to have a lot more fun with this stuff.

It would have been amazing if they'd just put in some Uzis and Mac-10's and .38 revolvers, vanilla M-16s, and maybe licenced some music of the period. Instead, it was just Call of Duty with more smoking in the cut scenes.
