how do you feel about that setup all these years later?

It's still my current AR, I like it.
Only thing I've done since then was put a stock on it and stamp it when the whole brace fiasco was going on

Went to sight in my shitty sig tango msr scope. It’s a little high in the pic so I lowered it about an inch, considering doing another half inch but eh. At 100m I’m pretty pleased, used shitty Winchester 55gr, and if not for the flyer I’d be right under 2moa

You know you can buy 77g AAC OTMs that are considerably more consistent and get better groups and zero’ing that way right?
Zero’ing with 55g at 100y is kinda silly
>>
>>62881551
Well they might be, honestly I don’t remember. I zeroed in my scope at 25 and then went to the 100 and was shooting like 5 inches high. So I lowered it by four inches just in case I was shooting fucked up. But I was shooting shitty 55gr and also some 77gr OTMs but for that particular group I’m not sure. The person I was with said it was the shitty ammo but I think we had both forgotten when we went to see the targets up close.
>>
I will find you mountain spr anon and I will steal your brass. Also there's a pretty big indian ruin on this hill a little ways up the road from the shooting pit. Not sure if you knew that or not.

Hello saars I came back the elcon i was talk about yesterday is now in 1 cart great competition with other man I need to know if it still good. If A1Grip say it very good I challenge him to duel with shovels low noon tomorrow in town of poonch. I saw dumb chump pay $2,000 for same scope yes very good need know if he know something i donut. Thank you saar very good goodbye.
>>
>>62881802
I did notice, it was way higher. So I initially zeroed the scope with 55gr soft tips because I figure that’s the ammo I’m more likely to use for like hunting and whatnot. Then I went out to the 100 and shoot 77gr and it was about 5 inches higher. So I have to lower it and now my scope is on point but that really surprised me. I guess I should’ve expected it considering they’re both at the far ends of bullet weight, but I kinda figured it would’ve balanced out with the reduced velocity. Of note, the 77gr otm and the 55gr fmj didn’t perform too differently as the fmj was also noticeably higher. I’m going to chalk it up to my zero being off.
I should also mention that this was fired out of a 20in gov barrel and I used a shitty tango msr LPVO

Why are special ops guys like this? I dated a green beret for over a year. We would shoot our AR-15s in tac bays and run drills and stuff and he'd help me get kitted out and use his military discount on big ticket items. He told me he loved me. Turns out, he had a fiancé the whole time and I was just his secret side thing. I hate him so much. I cut things off with him 2 ago and I still hate him. Last Christmas he hit me up like "oh I still love and think about you everyday I miss you" etc. I told him to fuck off and that I wish I never met him.

if you're retarded like me you're gonna have a bad time in crypto. If you're smart but not into all the tech crypto mumbo jumbo you should options trade. If you're not that smart but not totally stupid and are not risk adverse you can swing trade leveraged ETF's (SOXL, YINN, YANG, or whatever you're interested in). If you're kind of retarded like me you should just invest into a S&P 500 ETF like VOO and keep your savings in a high yield account

Bull market starts 6-8 months after Bitcoin halves (halved in April this year)

Weekdays or weekends? I see what you're getting at.
Will definitely consider the rest. Light cap is needed, will mess with remote placement a bit. Know any decent folding rears that are windage+elevation adjustable? I'm gay for BUIS but a LEAF or knockoff will satisfy my tism. Scales stay for muh grippies and sock stays for my casual flat range weekend shooting so I can throw it in the bag hot. Will remove will taking classes or doing more serious shooting.

Lmao alright good to see I’m not the only one in the sig glass struggle. I mean it works I guess, but it is without a doubt the shittiest glass I’ve ever used. Only reason I’m really thinking of the Leupold is because of boomers sucking the brand off and because when I was in, the Leupold mark 4HD 2.4-8 was the scope our DMRs used and a lot of them really liked it, and I liked it when I played with it. Good to know though, I’ll try to hunt down a credo, I’ve always loved trijicons reticles
>>
>>62885105
Yeah, they are worth it. The mini barrel profile is a bit whack and they aren't floated so the strut can genuinely improve accuracy.
If you're gonna add an optic, wml, etc - ultimak makes the best rail segment to hang a light/lam to. Cogburn Arsenal makes solid mounts for mini prisms, GG&G makes some dot mounts.

If you want the mk4 as a throwback to the 2.4-8 by all means go with it. I just dont think they are super competitive in current year for the most part. Im fairly sure boomers sucked off leupold so hard because their previous scope experiences were the tasco, walmart 3-9 and truglo. Leupold has always been behind nightforce, S&B and other brands because of choices they deliberately make.

For the record, I'm not suggesting you put a high magnification optic on a mini14. That would be silly. A TA45 ACOG however would be a perfect fit, it has the longest eye relief of any ACOG and will make it easier to land farther shots than with the irons. Or even just an Aimpoint PRO. I think now that you have a rifle that uses common ammo you need to shoot more and buy fewer guns.

Polonium K is the best budget option. It's a tiny bit longer than the saker k but less back pressure, I would recommend the polonium k between the two. For a more expensive option, CAT WB is incredible and worth it if you have the money. Slightly longer than both but incredible sound suppression and zero back pressure, it's magic

>>
>>62885716
I don't like k-cans but in general Otter Creek is your best budget pick. The polonium is a great performer in general and probably the cheapest can worth buying. It's just bare bones and if you want a QD muzzle setup you'll need to buy the hub and muzzle device so add $200-300 to the price if you're comparing to a Saker which includes that stuff.

On an 11.5 I would suggest something with reduced backpressure like a Velos. It will gas you less and overall affect the way the gun cycles less.
>>
>>62885747
Sounds dumb, get an upper with a proper gas system length (midlength for 14.5-16) and if you're going to rock an optic get a flat top.

Come on anon.

Maybe it's a good suppressor. I've never used it. I had a chance to compare the Polo K to a Surefire Mini 2, both on 11.5" builds. Polo K sounded better and flash suppression was very comparable between the 2. Backpressure was also similar. The Sandman K on a 14.5" and it was much louder and maybe even flashier than the Polo K on the 11.5", but everyone knows the Sandman K is trash.
>>
>>62885824
Not the anon that bought one but I have and it’s good. Like I said it’s basically the half way point between a huxwrx and a normal can. Not zero gas but very low acceptable levels. Like you don’t really feel it but you can smell it. Sounds really good too, a bit louder than the velos but that is to be expected considering it’s pretty much a K sized can.
>>
>>62885859
I'm sure it's a good can. I want to like flow-thru cans, but one of my buddy's friends has a Flow 556K and it heated up so fast just firing several shots, I was surprised. I guess that's pretty common with flow-thru cans. Shot it during the day, so I couldn't get a good idea of how well it was suppressing flash. It did sound pretty good. I've heard flow-thru cans tend to be loud, but the 556K did a pretty decent job. Polo K was definitely quieter though.

Obviously. All I can tell you is the 556K seemed to get hotter faster. Maybe there are tests people have done on this, but I haven't looked. I do know people have mentioned the 556K and other flow-thru cans glowing like a chemlight under NV, so maybe they do heat up faster, or retain heat for longer than regular baffle stack cans? I can't say for sure since I can't test this.
