Blackout) without doing SBR paperwork, and the brace isn't horrible. Most 12" conversions you have enough velocity for commercially available expanding bullets to still be effective. There's a guy on the forum that takes deer all the time with his 12" 6.5gTo go blackout you would need the shorter gas tube and oprod, but that stuff just falls right out when your pull the barrel

So no this more than likely wouldn’t solve anything, if not make the issues worse. If you were planning on sustained fire you should’ve gone with a thicker barrel profile, like buying a newer mini as you mentioned. My advice? Just deal with it.
