I recommend finding a gym, and learning how to do squats, hip thrusts, leg presses, split squats, and leg extensions.

you may not want to body build, but science has been done on what increases glute size the most when controlling for most other factors in a given time.

You dont have to abide by the same harsh rules that bodybuilders apply to themselves, but you should still take into consideration muscle strength and building that strength over time. additional fat is okay, and it may even be necessary to facilitate muscle growth.

you need to eat enough protein for the muscles, enough natural fats to feel okay, and carbs to have general energy levels, basic stuff, but everything in excess gets turned to fat anyways, and when building muscle it's hard to tell how much protein you need immediately without trial and error.

Go figure out how much you can squat, and make sure it's a GOOD squat, one you feel in your butt. there is specific form differences for a glute focused squat and other leg muscles, so be aware of that.


if you do not stimulate the growth of the underlying muscle- your body will most likely just throw the additional fat anywhere else unless your genetics are working in your favor, in which case idk why you're not already fat
