"Racism" is just having a healthy sense of pattern recognition.
The moral of the story here is that it is much better to be antisemitic than to be racist. If you have to choose between not trusting the blacks and not trusting the Jews, it is far wiser to pick the latter.

Prop 1 - Substance is by nature prior to its modificationsSubstance is prior to modificications (modes), this makes both logical and ontological sense, in that substance is that which is in in itself and is conceived through itself, in that it is a self sufficient, self caused entity that cannot be contingent upon anything external. Spinoza presents his proof through definitions 3 and 5 as it logically follows, however here I will give more context. This establishes substance as the ontological foundation of reality in that God is not the divine creator of the world, but rather that god is the world, within all that exists. In such substance which is infinite, eternal and indivisible. This rejects the classic view of god (maybe why he got kicked out of the jewish church) that god sits apart from the world. In this modes, or determinations of substance, are not substances in themselves but exist within the substance, in such they are dependent on its existence. In link to Axiom 1, “Everything that is, is either in itself or in another.” (pls read the other writing on axioms for clarification) which reaffirms the ontological priority of substance over its modes, modes are in substance but substance is not in any mode. This reflects Spinoza's claim that all that exists as finite expressions of the infinite attributes of god, this undermines the notion of a transcendent deity, in that Spinoza's god is positioned as necessary to the constitution of all being.
>>24951508How does it feel to be a human skinwalker?
>>24951508Very wrong. Read Spinoza
>>24951517There is literally nothing wrong in what OP presented.>>24951508Yes, I think this is very straightforwardly reasonable from what Spinoza posits regarding substance, God and his modes. I just think there are gaps in what it means from finite modes being derived from infinite modes and the chain of causation of both and between both being indeterminate/infinite. Now, regarding Spinoza's God, I beileve there is no conception of God deserving more hatred than his and I don't mean in any logical, scientific sense (perhaps this is debatable as it reminds me of Advaita Vendata's conception, although it is more naturalized and would be less inconsistent). If Spinoza's God is true, Marquis de Sade is our only true Christ.
>>24951508>i love spinoza even tho im a materialist!!Where lies the contradiction, exactly? Spinoza was a crypto-nihilist atheist jew.
How do you learn to philosophize? I read philosophy books but i never learn to philosophize. I never learn to use those fancy words like epistomoleogoogy; i only learn what they kinda mean but i never have a sure feeling of it and have to look it up all the time. >>24946724Socrates made a distinction between pure mathematics and applied mathematics, it is the oldest distinction of them I've come across, Socrates has a bit of disdain for the human calculator while the pure mathematics elevates the soul to truth and philosophy

If, according to Gnosticism, the material world was created by an ignorant or malevolent Demiurge, why did the higher, benevolent source of reality allow such a being or such a world to come into existence? This idea seems to relocate the problem of evil to a meta-level rather than resolving it.

Recently bought Chamber Music, Joyce's early book of poems. Am intrigued to read them; it's my next book on the docket.
It is not exactly well known in modern circles but much of Hemingways writing had fetishistic undertones for the sexual fetishes be possessed. It is well known that in most of his novels the main women has some sort of ratchet short haircut. Lady Brett Ashley,Maria and Catherine Barkley all had very intense details on the short hair they had. Further most of his wives had short hair and it was a subject of contention for His first wife Hadley Richardson and a mainstay with his second Pauline. Further the topic of women on male anal stimulation comes up in some of his works but more overt. The garden of Eden book truly is the embodiment of the Hemingway sexuality. Hemingwaybros how do you cope with the great man’s man writer liking women with boy haircuts and getting his buddy tickled. Personally I enjoy it.
>>24948644I hate women with short hair, but I like reading. What is something short but sweet from the old Earnest? Then which is his best novel?I have read Old man and the Sea.
>>24948659Farewell to Arms is his best novel. That said, Hemingway really shines most in his short stories. If you only read one thing by Hemingway, the Finca Vigia collection is the one to go with.
>>24944831If you can't disconnect author from his work and distinguish fiction from reality then you are genuinly low IQ. Or are you just brown? Do you also think Hemingway got shot in his dick during WW1 since Sun Also Rises is about that? Do you think Agatha Christie was serial killer since she wrote about murders?Do you have inner monologue? Can you imagine hypothetical situations?
