Spent way too long waiting for food prices on an air compressor and now I'm looking for a real deal spray booth but have no idea what to get.I'll be spraying lacquers so non-flammability and high CFM safety is important to me. I've looked at the Pace and Paasche booths and the former has a better but seemingly weaker fan, while the latter has no built in features and a stronger but regular extraction fan? >>22934876 Dawg it’s not that hard. If you want to go giga poorfag mode, just get a box fan from Walmart or some shit and put it in a cardboard box with a filter over it and stick it out the window. For a more traditional spray booth, just get like an old storage bin or some shit, it’s good if it’s clear because you can put lights on the outside to shine on through, cut a hole out the back and put some ducting through, connect it to an inline duct fan and stick it out the window. Make sure you have like some cardboard or something to block the rest of the open window so you don’t let the fumes back in. For the fan, just eyeball it and get something around 350-400 cfm. It’ll be fine unless you have giga long ducting with lots of bends or a giga huge box. For the filter, just get a MERV 8 one for like $2 at Lowe’s or Home Depot. I always said that someone should do a report on the chemical makeup of the plastic used and on the metal used since they love metal frames. I don’t bother sanding the breaks flat on these joint repairs but try to get as center on both holes so the joint remains straight. Cement melting the plastic together will take care of the rest
