This is how I'm gonna display it. At least until the GN Cannon comes in through the mail in about two weeks. So the issues>old style trigger finger spilt hands This is the big one. I just do panel lines and some color correction if I have the right pens. Except yellow. I'll use the stickers because yellow paint sucks rock hard donkey dicks. And eyes. I usually sticker the eyes, but it does depend.

Are all the HG Macross kits big sticker fests? I liked the one I built as far as the engineering and construction goes. I know people complain about parts forming, but I didn't mind it. Battroid mode felt incredibly stable. But holy fuck. The stickers. Some made sense, but some of it was just not wanting an extra part on a white runner here and there.

Hey. Relatively new to the hobby. I finished building the Beyond Global RX-78 and moved onto the Blue Destiny Unit 2. I want to build the Hi-Nu RG next, but I don't feel like my skills are good enough for it yet. In particular, pic related happens sometimes. What causes this? Am I cutting too close to the plastic if I do this? I try to sand it down/polish it up, but these stress marks remain. I don't want my RG to look like this at all.

>>23068730It depends on what the part is. If it's a solid, unmoving assembly I prime and paint the whole thing at once. Otherwise it's piece by piece. As far as products, I use clear solvent type matte topcoat as primer since it sticks good and works great for brushed on acrylics. The paints are mostly vallejo since it levels so nicely when done by hand brushing.
