So these shows were full of jokes at the expense of a seemingly innocent character. Personally, I don't mind it because I like those shows (in some ways better than FIM) but these scenes are incongruous with the general theme of FIM which makes them reflect worse on the characters, whereas if it happened in a show like PPG nobody would bat an eye.
