There was a thread on this a few months ago and it died, but I thought the subject had potential. How come there aren't more horse-related VNs out there? Anyone who can write a greentext can write a VN scenario, and there are plenty of character vectors and backgrounds available on the boorus if you can't draw. AI is also a good tool for making quickie art. There are plenty of free sound effects and BGM tracks out there. Most people browsing this board right now could probably whip up a simple VN out of the images in their downloads folder and the first idea that pops into their head. Re:Harmony's was always lighter and less grim, but had more of a shonen feel to it (shame it's dead). Lunar Rebellion is much more grounded and real feeling but as a consequence doesn't have as cool of set piece scenes. Age of Wings and Steel has the best climatic fight in any fic, but the warfic story's split between norsewords and the Thirty Years War.
