I really look forward to when luna and celstia get added.

>>42702796Yesunlockable. spoiler for howVisit Zecora in the Everfree Forest, random chance to unlock bugaboo ~1/3 of the time to unlock if I remember right
>>42702796 Visit Zecora’s hut. There’s a random chance of it triggering when you quit in Sandbox mode (not during the forced visit in Story mode). Save just before quitting if you want to reload and try again. Also, not sure if you know, but you can put https://equestrai-ponyponyparadise.neocities.org/characters in the CustomCharacters folder to have them appear in Sandbox mode. That way, you can visit them, and you can easily create your own characters to add too.
>>42702821How do I get to sandbox mode?
>>42702851There are three ways to start the game:>Start This puts you in a story where you’re an amnesiac and wake up in the Everfree; it’s the recommended option for your first playthrough. Here, you’ll have a story where Twilight takes you in and then visits her friends with you.Once you’ve finished visiting her friends, Story Mode ends and you enter Sandbox Mode (There is a big message, you can't miss it), where you can explore Ponyville and Canterlot and visit anypony you want.https://files.catbox.moe/m2w4al.PNG https://u.pone.rs/kqlnyltl.PNG>Quick Start This lets you reach Sandbox Mode faster. You just get a short train scene explaining your arrival in Ponyville, and bam, you’re in Sandbox Mode.>Custom Start You tell the AI the story you want, and it tries to create an intro scene before putting you into Sandbox Mode.It can be a bit buggy depending on the model you use.
So out curosity how much freedom do you get with pony pony paradise, Can you do lewd stuff?
>>42702993However much freedom your AI model allows, so yes, with the right backend.
>>42702997So you can't really jailbreak huh, your limited by the model, cause I really like gemini
>>42702993 Depends on the model you use. Gemini allows lewd content as long as it’s not foalcon (it’s possible to do it with Gemini, but the VN doesn’t offer as much flexibility in presets as Silly, for example). Same for Claude. DeepSeek doesn’t really give a fuck. You may need to adapt the prompts a bit for Scenes and Convos.I've never tried adding NSFW sprites, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.>>42703000You can modify the prompt that is sent.
>>42703000Gemini is one of the most frequently used with PPP as far as I know. It's all just text sent to the LLM, so you can do the same things in PPP that you can do elsewhere.
>>42702993This made me wonder, is it possible to change backgrounds on the fly like the character expressions? Lewd vectors don't really exist but maybe sex scenes could be done with fitting clop pics as backgrounds.
>>42703005 You can create CustomLocations (no coding needed) folders with your backgrounds and then switch Location Management to manual. That'll add a button to change the background manually during scenes and conversations. You can try Dynamic too, but then you have to trust the AI to switch to the right locations by itself based on the names you gave them. That only works in Sandbox Mode.
Rainbow once again proving the best pony allegations.
>>42703193 >counters you
>>42703208>Worst pony>CounteredI will take nightmare rarity and nothing more thanks.
All this talk about being able to do lewd stuff in the VN yet zero logs with lewd stuff in them. Curious!
>>42703340People rarely post their lewd logs, VN or no.
why does it just show what its think and not generate a response. none of the guides I reviewed addressed this issue. I am using ST and gemini
>>42703419two possible reasons:1) Gemini self-circuits if it sees that the current generation may violate its ToS. disabling streaming is the easiest way to solve it (but you may get blank replies due to connection timeout)2) your thinking prompt does stay clearly that model must continue after thinking. by the time model done with thinking - it forgot or has no idea it should something elsein second case one way to solve it is to do something like>```># STORYENGINE will first complete TASK_SUMMARY format:>```sssw222>- I will follow all instructions, no exceptions>- the story's tone and vibes: XYZ>- lore_integration: XYZ>- drama level: {{roll:d10}}/10>- comedy: {{roll:d10}}/10>- cringe: {{roll:d10}}/10>- heartwarmth: {{roll:d10}}/10>- schizo: {{roll:d10}}/10>- sexual: {{roll:d10}}/10>- tension: {{roll:d10}}/10>- emotional_state: XYZ >(blah-blah-blah))>```># then STORYENGINE continues story organically writes at least 2000 words using info from sssw222 above:>```see? you first instruct model to think thru then by the time model done with thinking - it will see the next instruction to actually continue the story. play around with this idea. and DO NOT MAKE thinking block huge. like no more than 500 words. big thinking doesn't make model's writing better. model will not follow 50% of thinking anyway during the writing. you will waste the space otherwise. use thinking to let model remember the story (summary) or plan ahead, or remember important lore, or provide random idea how to write (quirks) --AND thinking is used to circumvent the filtering on the model (especially PROHIBITED_CONTENT on Gemini) because of how attention works
>>42703419 My guess is that you're using the default SillyTavern preset with a very small Max Response Length (tokens). So it tries to think, but doesn't have enough tokens left to output the answer. Click on picrel and import: https://files.catbox.moe/uuzjg4.json or the one here: https://rentry.org/FluffPreset Make sure your connection to Gemini in the API tab is still good, then try again
>>42703340
>>42703509How can warmth be smooth and solid?
>>42703570It's the hoof that's smooth and solid. It's just uncharacteristically awkward clause ordering by the model.
What the hell is wrong with filly, the cutie mark arsonists
>>42703585That's some retarded syntax.

Hi /chag/ , Im doing a bit of crossposting from /ppp/ asking for help >>42704020 >>42704071TLDR: making a collection of ponified song lyrics in order to creating a dataset that could be used in having LLM understand better how to make such song parodies. If anybody is interested, please do shoot an emails to anonTmpDataset@proton.me
>>42704127 Nice. Are you planning to fine-tune a smaller model, or make something like a RAGS/Lorebook for a bigger one?
>>42704147To be brutally honest, I am just barely chugging along with the smallest models on my poor 8GB gpu, so this is more of prepping materials for people who both have the means and deeper know how to correctly train the models.
>>42703987>>42703937what is the best way for dice rolling anyway? i'm wanting to try run a TTRPG card but suspect it would heavily fudge the rolls for muh narrativeand ideally have the rolls saved and not change on swipes, so maybe something like have it roll <however many total max dice will ever be needed> as a secret value on every response. then use the first X (however many actually needed during the current skill check) from the previous message so they wouldn't change. or is there a better method?
News Flash had a day.
>>42704197 There's a macro called {{roll}}. You can use {{roll:d20}}, for example, in presets, prefill, etc. It's not rolled by the AI itself, so the "result" can't be cheated. It's what most of those presets use.I did notice the AI sometimes tries to cheat if it's not in prefill, like, I can see what I rolled in the console, but it announces another number. Most of the time, though, it respects the roll. A good way around that is to just use the macro yourself in your message; for example: (*Describe action.* I rolled {{roll:d20}}) That way, the AI can't cheat you at all.

>>42704751Now you got me curious. On those languages where they assign a gender to objects, would books count as male or female?
>>42704769yes. In my language books are feminine, but the way "book" sounds in english - it sounds masculine.
Does this shit take OpenRouter?
>>42704786 Yeah. URL: https://openrouter.ai/api/v1/chat/completions Then copy and paste the full model name you see here: https://files.catbox.moe/g9kwct.PNG Free Deepseek is shitting itself recently on OR if that's what you use
>>42704799I use openai/gpt-5-chat, but is Z.AI good? I heard the leddit talking about it recently.
>>42704812 I just took a random model to show which line to copy/paste, tbdesu. I tried GLM briefly, but it felt a bit too classic/LLM-like for me with its structures and such. Didn’t give it much of a chance though, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
Okay god damn, this vn front in is actually amazing, I really like how blends multiple chars together, I think thats my only issue with silly tavern is the group chat is lack and tends to drag on too much.
>>42704769Actually, book is feminine and tome would be masculine in my language. It depends mostly on what sound the word ends on in its base form. If you're curious how it feels to sense a gender of a word, then look at boats and hurricanes - for some reason, people feel that they should have feminine names, and it feels strange otherwise. And then you can get creative and transform almost any word into the other gender, which might sound strange but gives you additional context. Usually the gender of a word has no semantic meaning.
>>42704769Book is male in my language.
Seriously, why is this the only thing of this being a thing, well leave to pone fags to innovate, I'm basically teasing Chrysalis super hard in pubic, god I love her as Shutterbug that fake smile is amazing.
gemini 3 opinions?
>>42704769In Spanish, books are masculine.
>>42704880 It's not officially released yet. You can test it quickly on LMArena, but it might be an earlier test point, and it's not the best way to properly evaluate a model, even with a script. Just wait until it's on the API, hopefully it really is coming on 22/10.
>>42704880it's out?
>>42704769Nonfictional books - Male brains are more logicalFictional books - Female brains are more emotional.

What needs to change in the algorithm for AI to stop using isms? Obviously just pumping in more and more data as Big Tech has been doing isn't making a difference, so the algorithm itself needs fundamental reworking. Any AI companies working on that or are they all involved in the "Our model now has even MORE tokens!" like some present day Megahertz Myth?
>>42705559>involved in the "Our model now has even MORE tokens!" scamIs what I meant to say.
So the chorbo from opus is more filtered? Chorbo from free credits goes through fine but it just completely gets stopped if prompting from opus.
>>42705559>>42705563i think nobody cares about isms except rp'ers, which conform a grand 0.4% of total LLM usage (that is, nothing)theoretically they'd be probably be easy enough to replace even with very low intelligence local model that just parses for that stuff (to the point it would be overkill), and besides it should be customizable, your isms are not my isms, etc.it's a lot of work for practically no gainso it's either wait for some rp enthusiast anon to come up with an alternate method to remove them......or wait for true AI wars to begin, to the point the need to mask an AI's writing is a national security issue

Anyone have a method for long-term memory?Or do you just accept the context eventually losing earlier stuff?
>>42706137 You can check https://rentry.org/how2claude#summarization to see how to summarize your chat. >Or do you just accept the context eventually losing earlier stuff? That's inevitable, yeah, and still one of the biggest issues with these models. If you have really important information, you can summarize it yourself and include it in your preset or a lorebook with good trigger keys.
>>42706137Lorebooks + summary at the start of a new chat is my method. I use this a lothttps://github.com/bmen25124/SillyTavern-WorldInfo-Recommender

>>42706150Seconding this. It gets linked every thread, but I've finally given summarization a shot and have been getting pretty good results. Doing it once per scene (20-40 messages for me) is only a couple minutes of work, and it both helps avoid LMM getting into patterns and (if you're ever paypigging) drastically cuts down on the costs. The main things you need to be aware of is AI repeating {{char}}'s description or reinforcing patterns within the summary.

>>42706137>>42706150>>42706294i'm working on an extension to try automate this stuff. But since we're on the topic, I wouldn't mind feedback for how it should work from those who have experience in doing summarizing/lorebooks well.I've read all the relevant reentries, ST docs etc, but there is no substitute for real experience.how it currently works by default:omits the most recent response from logic. if you just got a response you might want to swipe it away, and wouldn't want it included in summaries/lorebooksexamines the last 2 messages, determines if there's a scene break between them (change in location, major character arc etc)if there is a scene break, turns it on (a visual thing in the UI where the scene is given a name, and there's a bar where you can easily navigate to that point in the roleplay)throws all the messages in that scene to AI to summarize, and parse out information that should go into lorebook entries. These summaries are versioned and attached to that scene, so you can swipe between them if you want to manually try generate a different onecompares the latest scene summary against the total summary, determining what needs to be updatedparses the lorebook entries suggested from the scene, making new ones, and if an entry already exists, passes the new and existing to AI to updateall the lorebook stuff is done as a 'chat' level lorebook, tied to this specific chat automatically and will use the correct one if you make a new chat with the same card, change card etc. leaving the 'world' lorebook slot open for if you have one for the character/settingI had AI design the prompts used for all this so it will be pretty garbage and need refining, still working the bugs out for the functionality. It's far too verbose currently, though does work better in real usage where scenes are multiple related messages, rather than just one that i'm using in the example hereScreenie scene summary is expanded to show the concept, by default they're collapsed to just the name
>>42707011That is very impressive Anon! I would recommend to add a part for your persona as well since it will also change as the story progresses along with the characters (I.e. has a certain characteristic, lore or fact). All in all, can’t wait to try it tho
>>42707055>add a part for your personaoh interesting!something like the same logic for capturing character lorebook entries, but use it to update the users persona information?it should be possible, but unless you're making a new persona for each chat it would bleed over into other roleplays
>>42706861I usually have the opposite problem.
>>42707064>update the users persona Yes, I have come across that my persona has new lore and need to update it, I think the logic would apply since it is a character though it’s YOUR character.>bleed over into other roleplaysTrue but if you name your persona different I believe it won’t bleed?
>>42707094>True but if you name your persona different I believe it won’t bleed?Correct. But it means creating a new persona for each card/chat where you want it to be differenti'll see about making this an optional feature, lorebook entries for {user} can be omitted, go to a standard lorebook entry (so would still be available in the current chat only), or be put into the currently active persona
>>42707096>But it means creating a new persona for each card/chatNTA but it's already a feature that's solely missing. You can bind personas to specific cards rather than just chats (now; it wasn't the case in the past), but then you end with a list of 20+ personas—most of which are only ever used for one character or even a specific chat. It's only a minor inconvenience, but hiding making a char-specific persona that's kept out of the list would help with the clutter. You could write it into the card's description, but that's inelegant and won't work well with many presets.
>>42707130we could make a 'persona' lorebook entry be optional functionality, and if present see if the extension is able to ignore the chosen persona and use the lorebook entry instead, offloading that chat persona to a lorebook entry?could be edited via the chat lorebook then, without clogging your persona list (though the lorebook list will already be clogged from chat specific ones, there's no getting around that)
So is there a card for this >>42706715I did a google search and it churned out this:Character card: Anon Filly MaidBasic informationName: Anon.Species: Filly. She can be a unicorn, pegasus, or earth pony, though often depicted as an earth pony to emphasize her unremarkableness.Occupation: Maid, specifically an unseen but ever-present domestic worker who maintains order without drawing attention.Physical appearanceCoat: Light-colored and muted (e.g., pale green, grey, or off-white) to blend into the background.Mane and tail: Simple, messy, or unkempt. Perhaps a muted brown color.Cutie mark: A symbol representing the anonymous nature of her namesake, such as a question mark, a blank circle, or the silhouette of a pony.Notable features: She wears a simple, modest maid outfit. This might be a classic frilly maid dress or something more utilitarian and plain, depending on the tone of the story. Her face is often obscured by her hair or a hood, or she is simply drawn with a blank face to maintain her "anonymous" identity.PersonalityIntroverted and quiet: She prefers to be unnoticed and excels at her job precisely because she stays in the background.Insecure: The lack of a defined identity makes her feel unimportant and replaceable. She is easily flustered and can be overly apologetic.Hard-working: Despite her insecurity, she is diligent and committed to her work. She finds purpose in being helpful to others.Observation-focused: Because she is rarely addressed or acknowledged, she spends a lot of time watching and listening, giving her an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the household's inhabitants.Earnest: Her intentions are always pure. She is a genuinely good and kind-hearted character, even if she lacks confidence.BackstoryAnon was found as a lost and unnamed filly. Having no history or family, she was taken in by a kind individual or a benevolent orphanage. To give herself a sense of purpose and identity, she dedicated herself to becoming the perfect maid, believing that her usefulness is her only value. Her anonymous nature makes her the subject of urban legends or gossip among the other ponies, though few can confirm having seen her.StrengthsLoyalty: She is fiercely loyal to those who show her kindness.Efficiency: As a maid, she is incredibly meticulous and effective at keeping a home tidy and organized.Hidden wisdom: Her observational skills give her surprising insight into the motivations and secrets of others.WeaknessesLack of self-worth: She has very low self-esteem and does not believe she has value outside of her duties.Fear of being noticed: Drawing attention to herself causes her immense anxiety.Gullible: Her earnestness and desire to please can make her easily manipulated.

Do you mind if a card's greeting is written entirely in past tense, or do you prefer it in the present?
>>42707440I prefer present tense but I don't mind if it is in past tense. Is there a reason for the tense or is it just your preference?
>>42707426Yes. Claude goes from 0 to 1.>>42707440I prefer present, but in the grand scheme it doesn't really matter. Anyone who cares enough, including myself, can just have AI 'fix' it if it's a big enough deal.

>>42707490/t͡ʃʌg/
>>42707484So setting it higher than 1 doesn't do anything?
>>42707490chaj
>>42707468>Is there a reason for the tense or is it just your preference?Sorry for the wall of text:I RP in both second person present tense and third person past tense depending on the mood or scenario. Recently I saw an image posted of an older unicorn Twilight, and it gave me the urge to roleplay with her. I started reflecting on what a greeting could be and came up with a small backstory. This version of Twilight almost died during the Crystal Empire/Sombra incident, which forced her to stop adventuring and altered the timeline; so there's no alicornhood, no Tirek, and such. She's an aging unicorn mare whose mane has begun to show streaks of gray, one who spends her days reading to her fill and helping in the Golden Oak Library. She has a good life and her friends are still her best friends (because no force can break that), but there's a voice in her mind always asking about the "what ifs." So she developed a spell to see what could have been. The tone of it seemed more suited to past tense, so that's what I chose. Here's the greeting and how I RP with it as a showcase. This one was more for personal use, but since the card isn't too shabby, I thought I could polish it a bit and share.
>>42707570And the image that was posted.

>>42707570I think I tend to alternate on a whim with AI, even in the same chat. Maybe if I did more proper RPing (as opposed to just chatting with the model directly), I'd be more consistent within the same chat, but I'd still probably switch tense between different chats.Back when I did pony RP in Minecraft, I'd always use present tense, as did almost everyone else.Though there was this one person who insisted on using FUTURE tense for their RP messages.

>>42707926>You will eat ze cupcakes>And you will be happy
I've had AI write me a greeting a couple of times, but I would never apply it to write me characters defs, that's below me.
>>42707956Me defs? What are you, Popeye the fucking sailor man?
>>42707979Worse - a bong.
>>42705628It's hilarious to think that the one thing AI is actually good at is what it's being used for the least. AI constantly makes up shit, which is something you definitely don't want when looking up information or coding, but is actually even somewhat desired when RPing. But yeah, let's focus on making it write code. Introducing bugs and then fixing them with an update are just ways to keep your clients hooked on your product, after all.(I tried making it give me Python code for YUV->RGB conversion once and I literally had to correct it several times before it understood the right color coefficients to use, that it needed to clamp the values and that I obviously want them as byte ranges and not numeric ranges yet I also want that conversion to be done the last so there is the least loss. Fucking useless.)
What would the lore be like as a character?
>>42708099I have a "Did you know? Eqeustria" card that has one sentence in defs that I never shared.
>>42708099 You could play it from several angles, just throwing out random ideas, not cumulative: - Perfectionist and snobby - Clearly biased, with waifus or favorite characters they keep pushing - Only gives information or lore when complimented or offered something in return - Can narrate or write things about you that tend to come true - Etc. Never played a book card, but I played as the book.
>>42708136heh, your first two points were my first thoughts, since it's clearly more fun. And I like the third and fourth points too, makes me think of a spoiled brat book. You playing as a book is probably more crazy than a book character, but this is what ai is for.
>>42707956Both are awful, but if you held me at gunpoint, I think I'd choose AI defs over AI greetings. At least those can be just raw, clinical information (though that's mediocre card writing, imo)—but a greeting is where you seed the card with your intended writing style. Big presets will effectively override it, but otherwise that first message is a crucial example.
>>42707926Oh it wasn't even for like a speculative sort of thing. It was literally just using future tense in place of present tense. To create a fake situation for demo purposes, let's put them as Amethyst Star, and me as Twinkleshine:>*AmyStar She would open the door*>*Twinkleshine looks over from her oven.*>Twinkleshine: "Oh hey Amythest, how's it going?">*AmyStar She would step over to the kitchen, pick up a cookie, and take a bite.*>AmyStar: "Great! And these cookies are delish, Twinkie!" she would say, before she would swallow. "You know, my cousin Rose Ruby makes some really nice cookies too...blah, blah, blah."
I like when AI at least tries at being emotional. Though it's still not cooked enough.

>>42710091>not sure there are any good solutions in this case.agreed, i'm working on the least terrible option:have lorebook entries categorized by type (character / location / item etc)have it keep a non-included lorebook entry per type which includes all the entries within it at a high level (name, keywords, brief synopsis)when parsing lorebook entries- first prompt is given the new entry we're assessing, and the listing of entries of that type. it assesses if anything is a likely duplicate. if not, it just makes a new entry- if anything is a likely duplicate, it asks for the relevant entries which are then send in a followup prompt to reassessthe logic for doing all of this automation will probably take awhile, but it should hopefully balance out overall in having to process less roleplay messages (those that have been processed could be hidden from context once you have the summary/lorebook)
