Anon's asked what I was doing to deslop intros and I abandoned banning pretty fast, because I saw it was an effort in futility.Instead I stacked the deck on being more random thereby forcing it to be more unpredictable through random choices. There are some preset makers that figured this out, like Knotty pic rel, (I've personally run into swipes reusing names way too much)though otto may have been an attempt at a true randomizer, there was some old presets that used something similar like "chose 2 random words, and form your reply around it" with mixed results. I think aiming for a controlled randomness is better, set variables yourself and fill it up with as much as you can. It's much better than just letting the model be lazy using the most common stuff.

Where as giving a model a list of things it must choose is way more controllable. But this is a lot of trial and error because the model may not understand it, or it may not be universally understood across all models. So I narrow it down to only a couple choices and see if it picked it, then keep adding on. I will post a list of randomizers that worked later.

LLMs are pretty bad at thinking in the background (they do that because of attention) and coming up with novel connections, so some outside context can stoke the fire so to speak.
