I posted a personal blog like 2 days ago(?) about driving 4 hours to test ride a bike, and that some faggot reserved it, so they took it off the shop floor
now they dealership is calling asking if I want to come back up after flatly refusing me when I went there the first time, because the guy decided he didnt actually want it
my blog was completely ignored because of this repugnant c*nadian faggot that the jannies refuse to sanction

Mogged some little shit on a Honda Grom today. Little mex probably bought the little piece of shit to save money and was going 45mph in the 55. I ended up blowing past him at 105 on my CBR while making sure I only cleared him by 5 or so feet to make sure he knew I was intentionally mogging him.

Here's my Yamaha. Skip to 9:20. I caught air a couple times too long around there. Catching air off-road is so much fun. I told myself it would be safer practicing wheelies off-road on a dirt bike but it feels even scarier and more dangerous than on the road.

It happens often. You have to remember there are a ton of people that panic look without actually having an intention to buy for just about anything. Why else do you think people and dealers get constant "is this still available" messages.

Gobbless. Dirt can be trickier in the sense that you need to manage your suspension and rear traction to avoid simply spinning up (or yeeting sideways). Dry grass is a good compromise if you’re just wanting to learn.

I remember reading that but I don't think I replied because I don't have anything to add. Stealerships are scum, I don't know if anyone defends them at this point. There's a reason their profits are in the toilet and there's a record number of them closing.

One of the tricks they've tried with me a few times is to "reserve" a bike in my name that I just came to look at and sit on to size it for my inseam. They'll put a tag on it like it's sold and parade it around so people who may have actually bought it get mad at me for having it. Then I have to tell them no and to delete my fucking phone number out of their database that they routinely sell to Saars.

Then I try to never visit a stealership again until a new bike comes up used that I want to go sit on.

might call them up today and ask them to move the bike to a store closer to me, but they'll probably ask me to pay the "moving fee", which means fucking nothing because they cycle the bikes up and down the country every 2 months anyway

Depends, it could be throttle/brake control (too hard too quickly for either), trying to add lean and speed at the same time (telling the bike to do opposite things), cold tires, bad tires, oil/sand/grit on the road. Its almost impossible to tell the cause a lot of the time unless, sometimes just being a combination of many or all factors.

>>
>>28647405
You can put a 2k turbo on a 2k clapped out GIXXER and it will destroy the H2 for 4k total.

Also its not just 30k, a bike with that torque will eat tires, it eats chains, it eats brakes, it eats oil, it eats all. Not to mention the engine maintenance. Camry will last for 600,000 miles with basic maintaince that you sometimes mess up, H2 will last for like 100 if you are perfect with everything, and its still going to break something from its own power.

On top of that, unlike cars bikes actually take skill to pilot, H2 is a scary bike even for people with a load of skill, one wrong twist of the wrist and you are going head to the hospital at best.

on track their pressure will be a little lower
the track itself is way grippier because theyre typically shellgrip
and the types of tyre you run on track get much warmer/sticker quicker and easier

regular road tyres are designed to be driveable in most-all conditions, so have channels cut in to them for dispersing rain, and harder grades of rubber to withstand harsher roads

Just so you know, that T-shirt isn't there and you won't get it till the end of October when it's shipped to them. My dad found that out.
Also, probably just the Nightster. It's Harley's "into-bike," but it's still a sub-500lb, 975cc liquid-cooled V-Twin, with mid-controls. Won't feel that radical to you and will have plenty of power to have some fun. If you're looking for something that still has the traditional big V-Twin, go with the Lowrider. Heavier, almost 700lbs, and a different kind of power curve being an oil-cooled 45° Harley engine. Will give you a better idea of what it is like on a traditional Harley.

Smax anon, your cornering feels all fucked up because of your posture. Scoots are rear heavy so you need to keep your legs more forward to balance it out. And dont worry about knee action so much. The low COG makes turning so easy you can do it by tilting your head. If you want, talk to an upholsterer about flattening out the seat for more butt room. It helps.

Honestly I have no idea, the only thing I ever look at is the RPM counter, although these days I can just shift based on feeling how much its vibrating between my legs, don't even need sound.

Speaking of shifting, getting used to GP shift isn't that bad honestly, clutchless upshifting feels reeeeeaaaally gud this way, like pure sex. Although my downshift blipping while pulling in the front brake at the same time is a bit worse, because I'm still devoting a bit of thought to "remember, press UP to shift down".

Street riding is not track riding. You cannot treat the street like the track. Streets are poorly maintained, have innumerable road surface hazards, have different surface geometry than a track would have, and require different tires than a track would expect. Plus there are rules of the road made for cars, nobody makes rules of speed, angle, distance for motorcycling.
>>
>>28647309
this. had a dealership send me to their other location after both checking their website and calling to confirm they had a bike there. I drove hours and surprise, they didn't have it. Never trust stealerships. the most effective way of dealing with them is walking out the doors the moment you even sense a bit of trouble in a normal sale

Not only is it extremely expensive to go to "da track", but tracks here give one (1) day a month for motorcycle track riding.

Dual sports are a garbage value, it's cheaper to just get a street bike and then a dirt bike for the same price as one dual sport. You can spend $8k on a DR650, for example that weighs 400 pounds so is dogshit at serious offroading and has clunky mirrors and turn signals that break off when the bike is dropped but then is only 90mph top speed on road so you can't outrun some illegal immigrant doing 105 behind you in a pickup. Or you can spend $5k on a Ninja 500 (or a larger bike secondhand) and then $2k on some secondhand 250cc dirt bike that will weigh like 240 pounds and be great off road and is actually designed to be fucked up unlike dual sports.

NTA, if you are doing FS and gravel roads, just get an ADV bike and put some lower crash bars and skid plate on it. They'll have full fairings, the twin will make the highway on the way back genuinely pleasant.

If you're actually doing stupid human tricks in the dirt, i.e. enduro, and you won't trailer it, then just realize you're stuck with a compromise bike that is going to make learning to jump shit more scary than it needs to be and the highway ride back more uncomfortable than you'll care for. But fuck having a Duke 390 engine shoehorned in an already overweight frame that actively makes your life harder at low RPMs.

yeah, i don't want an adv, the cost of a crash is too high and the kind of riding I like involves crashing. nothing too crazy, obviously, but an adv is too road-oriented by far.
i think the 390 engine is gonna be partly bad because it has to be revved up and is jerky and shit down low according to reviews. but more than that i'm concerned about the fact that it's basically a 390 adv with less shit on it. the exhaust location is sketchy too.
but given that i'll be 90% road, i wondered if i was making too big a deal of it.

I did actually spill coolant everywhere though because I didn't screw the cap on good at first and now the whole bike is covered in smoking sticky syrup.

No, it's because you "haha ur too slow" retards promptly go 150 mph, find a 2x4 on the interstate, and then promptly turn to paste.

Then, the insurance companies use your death to find an excuse to jack up OUR rates. I'm not responsible for you buying a literbike to fly through traffic at unsafe speeds to make up for your micro-dick. My dick is plenty large enough to enjoy just sitting back and going maybe 10 MPH over the speed limit.

But that doesn't matter, all of us are punished equally for YOUR stupid dicklet mistake. You're not going to give a shit, you're going to be a smear on the road or in a jar in a morgue. It's US who pays for YOUR stupid mistakes.

What's happening lads.

Looking for a motorcycle recommendation. Looking for one that I can ride in cities and do longer rides outside city as well. Mostly just looking for something reliable and comfy but not a cruiser. Been eyeing the z900rs and nc750 but wanted to hear some other options.

Get a Honda PCX150. It has great MPG for riding around cities (larger bikes will have their already pretty bad MPG nuked in stop and go city) but tops at 75mph so you can leave the city and use 55mph roads, just not interstate

Brehs... is there literally no freedom left in the world? The internet is being ruined by AIslop talking to itself endlessly, and the real world is being infested by CCT cameras and drones watching your every move. I only started biking because the world wide web was becoming so shit, even more shit than the normalcunts who already shat it up, but now its barely usable.

Is there literally nothing left? Is hermitmaxxing with a load of books until you die literally the only thing a man can do now? I thought bikes would let me live free for once, maybe choppers would be tough to deal with, sure, but drones aren't limited, they aren't on air radar, they cost basically nothing, they can deploy tons of them at once, they can fit anywhere, its fucked.

I'm thinking about ways to escape drone faggotry, like having a drop off spot for the bike and then hopping on transit, or making a map of underground areas to hide in, trying to learn to shoot good so I can snipe them out of the air, but it all feels like cope.

To escape this it's easy, just move to Argentina Colombia or Brazil. As a bonus the women down there aren't brainrotten by feminism yet and they'll ride on your bike

The bubbles don't know whether they're exiting through the radiator cap or through the overflow hose. Your bike will naturally let out the air after a coolant change gradually as you drive it. This is why you keep an eye on the reservoir level for a while after a coolant change.

Not really a christian myself (was raised as one thoughever), but I did think the only logical way revelation makes sense is with AI mass control.

Honestly I always wanted to get a bike because of watching Ghostrider, but I was gigabroke and also thought I would just end up in jail or dead (still probably true in regards to all of that). However what really broke my camel back was some cunt cop pulling me over and giving me a $1300 (THIRTEEN FUCKING HUNDRED) ticket for no seatbelt and forgetting to renew my insurance, so for the crime of hurting literally NO ONE, for the crime of putting no one in risk, they stole $1300 from me. I just said fuck it, I was going to get a bike, get really fucking good at riding, get a 1000cc, and never buy insurance or stop for a piggie again. Thats still the plan sort-of, although bikes have a lot of limitations when it comes to grip, the cornering on these things is pretty bad, and in the rain its either slowfaggotry or heavy risk, I can feel my back end constantly wanting to wash out on even mild leaning.

Bikes are a lot of fun, although because of the grip situation they are basically destined to be crashed endlessly, unlike cars you can't really save yourself on a bike when you lose grip. Just one second you are ok, the next and you're crashed. Anyways, I was prepared to take all that so long as I got my freedom in exchange for it. The drone thing is really putting a thorn in my side though.

Just a question for you shooms, what are your thoughts on genesis where God is constantly talking about "us" as if there are multiple gods, and what do you think about him saying that if humans had immortality then they would be as himself (he also uses US again, "like us")? The entire of the old testament is full of clown moments, such as god being unable to know where people are because they are hiding from him, or Jews having god on their side but losing anyways because the enemy had iron chariots, God being omniscient yet apparently not realizing his entire world is going to shit so he floods the entire thing in a panic to "fix" it.

I find only Gnostic belief to make any sense at all, since it basically summarizes the old testament God as an evil retarded abomination and Jesus is how you escape the tranny of the abomination.

Also what do you think about Jesus just being a Jewish copy pasta of Socrates? Obviously Gnostics are basically just Platonist mixed with jewish fantasy.

Jesus is and was the God of both testaments
As per iron chariots, remember the same example with muh giants; colloquially speaking their unbelief of both sending spies and belief in them and dneying God was a violation of the 1st Commandment
I.e. to Know the LORD is as much as the Trust in Him
>but muh giants of the land
Who commanded them to do it? They of their own volition
So i dont know the exact part and parcel of details for why chariots were unsuccess for the israelites: probably the same things keep repeating themselves and God and His Miracles go ever more distant and becone scrutinizing and then punishnent finall for the blood of the prophets and overal disobedience
Cant just expect blessing when being caught red handed, chastized, and continue to work abominations before your God
Ill give you another example from that era too; why did they suddenly decide to bow down and worship nafushan- the literal serpent pole artifact from Moses day?
Their own history had to be destroyed because of backwards idolators among their own people
I wouldnt confuse omniscence with an overall generic Grace afforded to both the evil and the good
Jesus Gave the Law and fulfilled it; which is to an extent to bring clarity and greater meaning and depth
Only He can fully keep the Law, go ahead and try whichever ones apply to you
Gnostics are just misdirection of a simple Truth that its always just been Jesus Christ and Him Crucified
Everyone seems to have a issue interpretting that, being born again, and just seeing this world for what it is and the hatred towards Him relstive to the source and majority of those sources also control the status quo
>>28648252
At the end of the day dont earn a spot in hell, or take the mark of the beast and fully separate yourself willfully from God

I see, about what I expected to hear. Personally I find a world of difference between the old testament's radical racial genocide conquest god that also seems to keep speaking in ways as if there are many other gods, and the all loving all welcoming new testament god that seems to speak as if there is purely only one.

Are you a vegetarian at all Shooms? There are numerous passages in the bible suggesting one follow such a diet, although many Christians seems to take offense at the idea, usually quoting only a single line where humans are permitted to eat meat, however it is just permittance, to me it seems very obvious that the bible wishes you to be a vegetarian, but allows meat eating as a less moral path. Adam and Eve in the garden began as vegan, Daniel's diet was just vegatables and water which made them more fit than the royal's diet, Noah was told not to eat meat, Moses was told not to eat meat, etc.

There are also many accounts that early Christians were very much into vegetarianism, from Augustine, Origen, and so on.

Those are two different materials, the one on the left is a kind of plastic and is intended to reduce sliding friction and the one on the right is probably some sort of impact armour. If you're actually asking what the type of protection is called then it's scaphoid armour. Personally I have Knox Orsa Mk2's which have the hard plastic, as do many of their other gloves, and I really like them. The Boa closure is so much better than velcro, all my previous gloves I stopped wearing them once that stopped sticking even though there was plenty of life left in the gloves otherwise.

Anon as far as the genocidal conquests you alluded to being problematic: one of the main reasons we have spiteful secret societies, trannoids, child sacrifice, and other oddities- is mostly because rather than genocide these cultures from the earth for their iniquity, israel rather play the harlot and partake in their sins
At least in the sense come second temple time and ezras reforms, they had the decency to at least put away their foreign wives and repent and begome actual Godly society it attempt it rather

>veggietardians
I was one for a little longer than a year fully total and i dont have a problem with it
Originally in preflood we all were, whcmich would explain an organ like the appendix being rendered useless for cellulose digestion or something, as i think we had better genetics and waaay longer lifespans too in general
And im pretty certain that God Commanded noah and his descendents to eat meat because of the eventual genetic reprucussions let alone God Limiting our lifespans as time went on hitherto from the ark, puts a constraint on what we can and cannot efficiently eat
Everything got smaller, weaker, and less competent as the postflood years passed; even culturslly so, where a society now withered and aged from the oldworld secrets is suddenly confronted with psychopath/sociopathic manipulators who would even use that knowledge to decieve the masses; workings of protohistorical mystery cults where they obfuscate noah tier TRUTH with a game of genomic and linguistic babbel style telephone and disinfo/misinfo
Ultimately these lead to the creation of abominations amd false religions
You cpuld eat honey and locusts like john, ezekiel bread for the next several years straight and cook it on cow dung, or withdraw altogether and either put a knife to your throat if your a man given to appetite and you sit with the ruler to break bread and eat his dainties- or fast and pray
People seek vegetarianism because food is one of those thing they abstain

In regards to the genocide, I wasn't intending to comment about it being right or wrong, only highlighting the extreme difference between God's actions in the past as essentially a radical ultra racist war god that parades his people around to commit genocide on all the filthy gentiles, vs the new testament where suddenly everyone is worth saving no matter their background.

What made you stop being vegetarian?

Plato actually promoted vegetarianism as well, no doubt influenced majorly by the Pythagoreans. Most of the /pol/niggers don't know that when they spam pictures of him.

Idk, I can't really see myself being convinced into Christianity with absurdity of the old testament, but Jesus seemed like an alright fellow. Personally I got a lot more out of Plato, since I like things being explained reasonably, but I guess we shall see in the days to come, after all, the Euphrates river does get dryer by the day because of the dams and climate change, and Pissrael has become anew because of Amerimutt zionist crazies. Should be all happening within the next decades at most if it is to happen.

Anyways, I'm off for a bit now.

How much road rash? Because he didn't say don't have any knuckle protector at all but instead have a very soft knuckle protector.

Enough that I have a permanent scar there, and enough that if I was doing 2x the speed I was it would have shaved off my bones. The important part to me is that it was the only area my work gloves broke at, which is reason enough to have a slider on there. If your palm needs a slider so your hand doesn't grab and snap, then the same applies to the knuckle. Fortnine guy is an idiot.

>Divine condescension is cope
You can only believe this if you don’t have children. Scripture is replete with indications that you should understand your relationship to the Father in the same way you understand relationships between babes and their parents.
Do you know how retarded toddlers are? Do you know how they are talked to? You are infinitely more retarded compared to God.
Your objections itt are seriously sophomoric. Please engage seriously with real exegesis
I mean come on now

Well again youre misconstruing genocial claims then as it were
There was one conquest for the Promised Land before it became the Holy Land, and that was delayed for 40 years because of disobedience
God Said He was going to drive the inhabitants out of the land, and despite all this the israelites still fraternized with them and adopted the customs and false idols etc.
Originally then as much as it were true in Jesus time as much as He is the Call: israel stood there to draw in the nations, not to go out and go conquer
Sounds like there is a misunderstanding on your end
Platos also a reason our current philosopher kings have self appointed themselves viceroys to slay the useless eaters as it were

What he also misses is that the new covenant is harsher than the old covenant
Dying is nothing
God is the author of life and death, he takes men home all day every day. It is no different for God to say “your death will be by a heart attack in your sleep” than “your death will be at the hands of a soldier of the tribe of my chosen people”
The law was made easy for men with hard hearts before Christ. The fulfilled law demands more from you. And eternal damnation is the real harsh penalty to pay

Jeez thats a lot of shitty answers. No its pretty much NEVER the bike or tires, even touring tires have plenty of grip and will not just wipe out because of "too much lean angle", its pretty much always the combination of lean angle+acceleration/breaking which leads to going over the grip reserves.
Either that or slippery stuff on the road.

Lass, you're explanation for why your omniscience God is incapable of finding people hiding behind bushes is "Divine condescension" and you're telling me to "come on now". You're a just a ridiculous idiot high on religious zealotry.

>Divine condescension
A conquest that involved annihilating (six) different peoples, people who were there far before the long nosed tribe decided their war god was giving them the land.

God also commanded them to genocide Amalek, who the modern Jews believe are Europeans btw. His command was literally to leave no man, woman, or child alive.

>israel stood there to draw in the nations, not to go out and go conquer
Yet the only thing the Jews did in the old testament is either screech about being enslaved when they lost to someone, or run around commuting genocide when they won.

These >>28648361 for rainy days and also a pair of RST tractech for clear ones. Both feel real gud, but the five's thumb is too long for me, not a big deal, you are unlikely to ever find a pair of gloves that fits perfectly on all fingers and I sized it slight up in case I wanted to throw another layer in there for the winter.
