>>4466226So according to cinefag it isn't rape I guess
>>4466249According to anyone with a brain. It is degenerate, comptemptible and possibly illegal behavior suited to nonwhites, but rape it is not. Now if he were the one fucking the animals, then it would most likely be rape.
>>4466254You are a homosexual animal rapist
>>4466255You're not just a miserable liar, but a mental midget
I am saddened by what this thread has becum.
The perfect lens DOES exist editionPrevious: >>4463859
>>4466296>This is just a PC interface for using the cameras own internal processing, that's why it has to be connected>This is the only way to get 100% the actual Fuji simsThat's what I was pointing out. If you no longer have your Fuji camera, you can no longer apply original Fuji simulations to your raws. But we already knew that Japs are Eastern Jews.
>>4466300It's just fuji that's egregiously shit at all the things you notice only after you give them money. Simply follow this simple guide in the futureTop tier: FilmVery high tier: PhaseoneHigh tier: NikonCope tier: HasselbladWorking man tier: Sony/CanonSOVL tier: PentaxYou wouldn't get it tier: 1" and under digishitsScam tier: Fujifilm, Lumix, OM System
>>4466328Sort of based.
>>4466328>only thing above phase one is filmscan back
>>4466328Not bad.An exception should be made for the Fuji GFX models though
I want to film a Timelapse of a plane trail, contrail, chemtrail, whatever it may be. Just to show that they are turning clear sunny days, into a haze. Not quite overcast but a light haze enough to cover the entire sky. I have witnessed trails starting small; as you would see coming from the plane, and slowly grow and grow. They don’t disappear; just getting wider and wider until it all blends into one big hazy sky.I’m going to assume wide angle is the best lens.As for location is the top of mountain going to be my best bet? W
>>4465755Look up operation sea spray also. A little different, but still extremely cringe for the us govt to do.
>>4465664ME HEREWell it could be anything and it certainly isnt healthy. Point is it ruins nice clear days... my friend is convinced anything from planes can make a clear day hazy. so the point is to show they can
>>4465756>>4466158Aircraft exhaust is already a cloud seeding technique whether intended or not. If a jet flies at high altitudes, it creates new cirrus clouds. Every single time. There is no conspiracy needed. It's basic meteorology. The people planning flight paths might know this and care, or some combination of know/dont know/care/dont care. Cirrus clouds trap heat.
>>4466158Almost everyday...
>>4465749>what you are seeing is burnt avgas mixed with condensationAnon, jets don't use avgas. They use something very similar to kerosin called simply TS-1.
So is everyone using Lightroom or what? I already have Affinity 2 and would like something with a permanent license for library as well.
>>4466195From where I'm standing, RT has borderline unusable file browser - that's true. The fact that they refuse to implement a normal image preview, like it exists in every other editing program is just beyond me. ART actually tries to fix that. Otherwise, I think the editor is good.
>>4466263there are several ways to do highlight recovery, I never had an issue getting highlight detail backuse either tone equalizer or color balance rgb and use the brilliance gradingyou can use masks to only affect the sky or the upper luninance ranges, if neededyou could also just make a 2nd exposure module, then make a mask for the highlight areas
>>4466190The right stick looks like that because it's moving upwards from a frontal perspective at 1/60", but the picture was taken with the mechanical shutter.
>>4466270>commie wants to shut people upnews at 11
>>4466195>>4466279Well, ok, also the crop tool in RT is kinda bad.
Any last words?
>>4463104Post your best photo and worst photo
OP all of you suspicions are right. Photography is greatest art medium but there is no money in it. I would suggest you to slide into film or painting. In both of these fields you can have a career and recognition for your work. I know utterly dog shit painters who live through by exhibiting their artwork. In comparison I know many good photographers stuck in dead end jobs and living in poverty. Irony is that they don't even get their share of recognition. You can try your hand at fashion/editorial type shit. Or do wedding photography. But these art mediums are not fulfilling and leave you with blue balls.
B A S E DASEDYou should kill yourself too.
>>4463104Photography is dead thanks to digital cameras and the internet. The era before internet and fully mechanical film slr's was the golden age of photography. The digital age is by far the worst age to live in. We have to go back to an analog world.
>>4466204Film and analog printing methods are even more special now that less people are using them.

solitary! sandpiper! real flighty. did not walk close.
This is the post for stupid questions that don't deserve their own thread.
>>4466184Not really and no. My use case is high ISO low light shots since I don't dabble with manual settings and tripods too much.
>>4466084Closed cell PE foam? It's relatively cheap and not prone to turn into sticky mush.Get a sheet of of foam to glue inside of cover and a block of foam which fills rest of the case. Arrange everything you want to store on block and trace and cut out shapes deep enough items will be flush with foam block.
>>4466084I'd go with some felt or flocking personally. I've done something similar with a hard-drive case in the past and it's doable just make sure if you get the self-adhesive stuff that it's heavy duty or "jewelry grade" or whatever the fuck. Flocking alone would not provide much in the way of cushioning but you could fill it out with a lining for foam first.
>>4466183I use Topaz Photo + Video, good for enlarging and NR, the face reconstruction can be nice tooI don't use it as much as I thought I would, but it has been nice to haveI can run some examples through it if you have any to postVideo I pretty much just use for upscaling old videos, don't really use it for any actual video work I do.
>constructive interference in out-of-focus areaneat but also a little annoying
How important is it to study photography through the library? What books do you recommend for beginners? What are the best photo books?
>>4466027>1984 above Brave New World
This is one of the best threads in the catalog right now. There are lots of photo books from famous photographers available online as PDFs for free if you're willing to download them from sketchy Russian sites. Very interested to see the suggestions from other anons.
>>4466197Anon, don't you realize the recs are garbage?
>>4466198some are, some aren't. I trust that I am discerning enough to look at a recommended artist and tell if it is any good or not
>>4466202>I am discerning enough to look at a recommended artist and tell if it is any good or notYou are not. You're a pleb shitting up /p/ with newb faggotry and retarded opinions.gtfo >>>/reddit/
What are your setups? Which products can you recommend? And wtf are the bastards from negative supply snorting to justify their pricing?speaking of: Does anyone have the STLs from tonecarrier? I am a poor bastard and want to try them out. other than that, I had no luck with the free printables you find on thingyverse etc.
And finally, this stupid lil' guy. I think an apt name would be film destroyer 9000. I need to return to this as I do have a lot of negatives to scan. It's more of a prototype of what became the slide scanner.Important things to learn from this: - Horizontal mounting of the camera is bad because even if your mount is very firm, it seems like the internal lens elements have a bit of sag or something that causes pitch to be an issue. This wasn't as much of a problem for the slide scanner as that was all done at a much smaller aperture. - The backlight is basically the same except I used WS2811 addressable LED strip, it turns out these chips start behaving oddly when they warm up which meant calibrating the channels was a huge PITA. - I used a Pi to control the stepper. This was what caused any damage to the film as the software-controlled stepping was too rough. - Adjusting the focus by screw rail is much easer than using the lens ring.
>>4465223Nigga I didn't understand a single word of this. Are the photos any good?
>>4464841Mirrorless cameras don’t even make a CLUNK sound when you snap. How are you even a photographer?

>>4462512
>>4462513
>>4461808It depends on the camera. If it's an IP camera it might get a bit tricky, but CAT-5 to RCA adapters exist, so might be worth giving it a shot.
>>4462553>worth giving it a shoti see what you did there.
Some of these CCTV lenses are legit. I used one on an old mft Olympus years ago and rebought it for my fuji.

Summer of getting shit done editionAll video related questions and discussion is intended for this thread. Here we discuss techniques, gear and anything else related to capturing video footage. Please don't pretend to be an expert if you don't know what you're talking about. Kindly leave your ego at the door.Posting short films/scripts or other work you've done is encouraged. We tend to use and recommend DSLRs/mirrorless cameras because they provide phenomenal picture quality for their price, have large sensors (ie the same size used in high-end cinema cameras and higher) and have interchangeable lenses. In contrast, consumer camcorders often have much smaller sensors and a fixed lens.>STICKY - https://text.is/QZ1J>Helpful guide, additional books and more in-depth FAQs - https://web.archive.org/web/20200926115310/https://pastebin.com/kG0gRmTZ>NO ONE CARES WHAT AN EXPERT YOU THINK YOU ARE. >>4465954>missing the entire point: the postAre you illiterate or just dumb? "It STARTS with making it optional".
>>4465963Only thing stopping it is if Adobe changes course, which I don't think it will. Surprised Final Cut or Media Composer doesn't have it, although with Avid, you need to pay for updates.
>>4466033Macs game plan is different. They don’t want you to be tied to a subscription. They want you to be tied to needing a Mac to run their software.
Film photos from the last few months + some thoughts.
>>4465923Not a great photo, but mainly taken for documentary purposes. This was in the royal academy for the visual arts, which was having a show for students finishing their studies. This wall was in the process of being covered in photos of the wall. On the right is a Hasselblad, the person behind this was taking shots of the wall, 12 per roll, then developing and printing the roll and placing it on the wall. Was interesting to watch.
>>4465925Another photo from the academy. Most of the photos shown were not super great, but what they did better than what I see online most of the time was consistency of subject and long term projects.
